Yeah im a fan of the Michigan Wolverines and Detroit Lions. Im from Ohio and have been to a bunch of Cavs games so they have been my favorite Nba team since i was little. Im not really a diehard Nba or Nfl fan, the only team i really care deeply about is the wolverines.
Well then in that case sir, I tip my hat to you. Gotta be difficult for you down there :)
I love that the raptors can be competing for a playoff spot in the east even though their record sucks. They should really change the divisions.
The eastern conference is really bad this year. There are only 5 teams who have winning records.
I haven't followed basketball in such along time because of losing hope of the fact that Utah would win. I was a huge fan and they always make the playoffs and then fall flat.

It was back when I was little and they were in constant competition for the championship agianst the bulls. I was virtually the biggest anti-bulls fan and realized they were their biggest competition so I grew to become a fan. I also was a huge Sloan fan and respected how he coached every year well and been there along time. That is a reason why I don't hate the Titans in the NFL because of good coaching.

Bacchus, I think My HAWKS has beaten your CELTICS. Twice this season? Am I right or am I right?
Bacchus, I think My HAWKS has beaten your CELTICS. Twice this season? Am I right or am I right?
Anyone can beat the B team... The C's, without Garnett are sadly about as good as the Hawks. Well, just below that level. Revenge will come. Oh, it will. It will. :wink2:
Bach. Can you say 1 good thing about the Hawks?
Bach. Can you say 1 good thing about the Hawks?
Can you get back to me on this one? ;)
We beat Ur Celtics Once again!!!
AND we beat Ur Celtics AGAIN. SWEEP!!!!
The Cavs have the best record in the Nba so im pretty happy. I think they are going to need make a trade to improve the team before the deadline if they want to make it to the finals.
For the all star game, I'm excited for the new players to be in the game such as Gerald Wallace, and glad Zack got to be in the game as well. Only disapointed captian Kaman didn't get in. I was also shocked that this will be Deron Williams first all star game.
Glad that the East won last night since a bunch of my favorites were playing(Wade, Lebron,KG). Glad D Wade won MVP!
I didn't watch the All-Star stuff at all. I heard that the dunk contest was one of the worst ever.
I cant wait to see Antawn Jamison in a Cavs uniform. They were already the hottest team in league having won 13 games in a row, and this trade will make them better. In all likelihood they will get Ilgauskas back in 30 days, so really all they gave up is a first round pick.
Once again, Sarver & Kerr shoot themselves in the foot. Sarver's been running this team into the ground and using Kerr to do it. There is a strong feeling that Kerr's contract will not be renewed and Sarver will attempt to dump the team off of his plate, if not this upcoming offseason, the offseason after. We should have traded Amare instead of Shawn Marion a few years ago. We proved we could win without Amare the season he was out due to his microfractures. The Suns will be done rebuilding just in time for Nash to retire the season after next. We don't even have a draft pick in the first round this year nor have we had pick available to us the past few years because of Kerr's boneheaded GM moves. Sarver's drinking buddy in college proved he was a worse GM than D'Antoni could ever have been within the first few months of getting the position.
The Cavs put a beat down on the Celtics last night. I know Paul Pierce didnt play but oh well, im still happy about the win. Jamison has not played well since coming to the Cavs. He needs to get comfortable with the team because we are going to need him in the playoffs.
So... If Lebron is injured, how good do the Celtics look? The Celtics you saw this season were 75% of this team. They are moving to full throttle and players will not be benched for weeks because of "tightness" here or there. I really think we will win this series, 4-2. I'm glass half full today. Talk to me later this week and we will see where I stand, lol.

It really sucks that he got injured right at playoffs time. So now I'm guessing it either the Celtics or the Lakers for the win.
My Cavs in 6 over Boston, God willing ^_^
I'm tired of the Cavs, Lakers, and Boston thats all we here about. I'm really into the Dallas and San Antonio series becuz they have been rivals for the longest. Western conference has been more competitive and a little better to watch, but I do like Orlando and they should have done better last year too.
I do root for the Spurs a bit (it's kind of hard to avoid here, hehe) and I'd love a Spurs/Cavs Finals rematch. Something tells me we would not go down in 4 this time! :aggressive:
My Cavs in 6 over Boston, God willing ^_^
Yep I agree the Cavs in 6. Im a little worried about Lebron, but he has a good supporting cast and if he is healthy the C's wont stop him. He is on a mission this year. I think he is just trying to take a page out of Paul Pierce's book by acting like he is more hurt than he really is so he looks like a hero when they win.
Spurs/Cavs was one of the most unwatched Finals. I'm really really tired of the Lakers. They and the Spurs have been the bane of my Suns existence. Our rivalry with the Lakers goes back to the day Lew Alcindor was won in the coin flip. He eventually changed his name to Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. The Spurs started becoming a rivalry with the arrival of Popovich & Tim Duncan. Since then they have Tony "take 3 steps w/o dribbling" Parker, Manu Gi-floppa, and Bruce "Dirty" Bowen. The only player on that team I have always had respect for is Tim Duncan. Suns play tonight in Portland and are up 3-2 in the series.
I was wondering have anyone been watching the Nuggets vs. the Jazz series? If so how many games do you think it will take before the Jazz win 6 or 7? Hopefully OKC pushes the Lakers in game 6 and win that one. (which they should) If that happens game seven will be awesome.

Is it me, or am I the only one who gets a hateful/upsetting feeling when Denver wins? I'm from Utah, however, nothing bugs me more than a Jazz fan. I'm a Lakers fan :D So, the sooner the Jazz win, the sooner the Lakers will take them out! :D OKC doesn't stand a chance! The Lakers do tend to play at other teams levels, so the possibility of OKC winning game six is pretty high, in my opinion.
The Lakers for me are thought of in the same terms as the Yankees are by most baseball fans outside of NY. Actually, it is bordering on a Red Sox/Yankees hatred in my case. I hate the smugness of Kobe & Phil Jackson (who has never proven he is a great coach by taking a ****** team and improving them but always had most/all the pieces in place by the time he arrived). George Karl is a great coach for what he did with the Nuggets & Seattle when he was there. Pat Riley is a great coach for building the Showtime Lakers and getting the Miami Heat to prominence. D'Antoni is a great coach for the way he rebuilt the Suns and is doing again in NY. Popovich is a great coach, not for the wins, but for taking a struggling only having the Admiral ****** Spurs team and turning them around. I may hate the Spurs almost as much as the Lakers but Popovich gets my respect because he lives by his humility & modesty not his ego.
