LeBron's physique is scary. I'm hearing that even though he's measured as 6'8 250, he's actually 6'9 265
That's actually funny (and agreed, scary), considering most athletes ADD inches and lbs to their stats and here's LeBron trying to be smaller (and in the NBA, no less).
Sorry I've gotta say it, I have absolutely zero problem drinking the LeBron kool-aid. I don't think he's one bit overrated. And this is coming from a Chicago fan, where Jordan is god practically- I think when all is said and done LeBron's going to prove to be the better player. Athletically he is very nearly the perfect player. His physique is ridiculous, his speed is ridiculous, his physique combined with his speed is unbelieveable - the versatility he has is reminescent of Magic but imo he has the potential to be even better than Magic, if he isn't already. Dishes the ball well, has a high basketball IQ, and he's only 24 which means he's got 10 plus years to get even better.
Compare just about any player that's been in the league- including Kobe- at the age of 24 and imo it's no contest, Jordan I'm going to say was as good at 24, but I believe on the whole the league is stronger today than it was back then - that's a controversial statement, highly debateable, but it's what I think. On top of all his abilities, he's a far more coachable player than Kobe, with better relationships with his teammates. Yes he's had some spoiled sports moments but just about every true competitor who leaves their heart of the floor has moments like that. LeBron when he gets to Kobe's age (assuming he takes care of himself and doesn't get plagued by injuries) is going to be beyond lethal, if he gets surrounded by the right players (like Jordan) it's going to be dynasty city (did I just pull a Vitale shoot me now).
Trevor Ariza signed with the Rockets.
Hedo Turkoglu is signing with the Raptors.
Rasheed Wallace might go to the Celtics they offered him a contract.
Phil Jackson is coming back.
I don't like the NBA since most of the players aren't that attractive. Why couldn't the NBA draft attractive players with talent?
Because they're all playing hockey :D
With a healthy Garnett they are the best in the east, but the Lakers are the best team and now they just added Artest to make them better.
I thought this East/West thing was settled when the Celts pummeled "The West" in Game 6 of the 2008 finals.
You can add names to your roster, but you can't buy heart. The Celtics will go 70-12 next year and win the 18th. You heard it here first.
Edit: Of course, I am a little biased.

The Lakers did get beat then but i think there better now. They didn't have Andrew Bynum when they played them in the 08 finals either. 70-12 i dont think so, 60 wins sounds more likely with a healthy KG and a trip to the finals only to lose to the Lakers.
Just wait guys the San Antonio Spurs will bounce back!the trio of Duncan,Ginobli and Parker will kill it.Lets go SPURS!!!:D
Don't forget they added Richard Jefferson too. There going to be good this year like normal.
The best dunk you'll never see

LeBron James apparently doesn’t want anyone to see him getting posterized.

LeBron James is victimized at his skills camp by Xavier's Jordan Crawford
By Mark Medina
July 9, 2009
The variation of the age-old question relates to LeBron James: If a college basketball player dunks on him, but the video evidence is confiscated, did it really happen?
After Xavier's Jordan Crawford dunked on James at his skills camp Monday in Akron, Ohio, freelance photographer Ryan Miller told CBS Sports that a Nike representative took his footage upon James' request.
"He just said, 'We have to take your tape,' " Miller told CBS Sports. "They took it from other guys too."
James' censorship mandate brings new meaning to his nickname "King James."
"There's nothing I can think of besides LeBron just not wanting it online," Miller told CBS Sports. "It's a good story to tell people, I guess," adding that he was a bit angry. "I lost my tape."
LeBron should be ashamed of himself. Not because he got dunked on, but because he's doesnt want anyone to see the tape. If anything, he should be giving the young guy credit.

Turned out the dunk was weak as hell... In other news, I guaran-sheed that the Celtics will win the title this season! :victory:
I knew there was a reason I never liked Reggie Miller (apart from his severe underbite):
So this was flown over Malibu and Santa Monica this past weekend. Apparently Reggie has a thing for his neighbor Ali Kay, who just so happens to be engaged to Diane von Furstenburg's son Alex.

Apparently he was super stalker-ish and a restraining order was almost filed.

You did hear the whole story right? That they exchanged hundreds of text messages, keyword here being exchanged. If you're engaged to someone, it's on you to not participate in extracurricular activities without said fiance. :p
Kobe was named player of the decade.
LOL, is it because of the Celtics long storied rivalry with the Lakers?
Maybe, haha.
Anyway, it is not about a player but rather the team and I think the Celtics are going to once again rise to the top this year with a healthy KG!
I'm glad KG is healthy now. I think Paul Pierce will help them do well as usual too.
Maybe I contradicted myself, because the Celts are a menial playoff team without KG, but are a championship team with him.
The NBA is really the only team sport where one impact player can make that much of a difference.
Scored tickets to tomorrow's Pistons-Bucks game. Excited to see Prince, Stuckey and Kwame [strike]Kilpatrick[/strike] Brown play. Not excited for Big Ben. Never really was.
EDIT: OK I'm not really excited to see Brown play. But the joke wouldn't have been as good if he wasn't mentioned.
