A lot of narratives were changed this series. I cannot believe Coach Bud is a NBA Finals championship winning coach! lmao. And Giannis just had one of the best NBA finals ever. Def the best since Jordan vs the Suns at least. The Nets series they won because in game 7 Middleton and Jrue made clutch baskets and clutch free throws. The Atlanta series after Giannis went down they won because Khris went nuclear with 2 back to back 20 point fourth quarters. But this finals was ALL Giannis. How bad of a coach is Monty Williams? You have several years of Giannis struggling to score in the fourth quarter of playoff series on tape and what schemes and defensive alignments to use and yet he never adjusted and still tried to have Ayton guard him 1 on 1 WAAAAAAAAAAY to much. Coaching malpractice. Which sucks for a guy who pushed all the right buttons all season long until then.
