What if the Gauntlet 2 final had been an actual race/final?
Methinks the Rookies would've still won, but not without MJ flipping out on Ibis (and Kina) at some point, only for Ibis to save the day at the end with the puzzle or eating challenge.
Landon would've inevitably joined MJ in flipping out, Jodi would've also gone on a roid rage rant after a perceived setback. Alton would question his leadership abilities entirely, Jamie would forget he's even on the Rookie team. Kina would become inconsolable and question all her choices due to the Ibis criticism, Randy will try to console her and fail. Ibis will take the pressure to heart till she pulls thru with the miracle win, Susie cries throughout it all. Oh the drama!
Aneesa would anchor the Veterans team entirely, causing Julie and David to FLIP out and get Julie escorted off the island after making threats to production similar to Jo. Aneesa would cry and fake an injury, Robin would cry too and Mark and Timmy would try to be good sports about it but lament having kept Aneesa around. David would be the Dbag making misogynistic comments and Julie would be seen at the police station answering questions about threats made to Aneesa for causing her the final win. Julie would never be heard of again till 2021-2022.

what if kina was on as many times as bananas? How many wins would the queen have now?
I def think Kina would have gotten another win or two under her belt had she stayed. She was one of the stronger ladies of that era and usually had the numbers on her side (not counting Sexes 2 - but she was a rookie that season). She was always one of my favs
Wasn't the Gauntlet 2 final thrown together because a storm either a) ruined the initial final or b). a storm was coming so they had to do something simple and on the spot. Someone correct me if I'm wrong - but I remember that.
Also Gauntlet 2 was a great season to showcase more cast members - V, Rachel, Tina, Coral, Tonya, etc all skipped that season (I think in protest due to pay- once again correct me if I'm wrong - I also think Coral/Trishelle picked to do a Battle of the Reality Stars thing together instead - so we got to see others rise to the top. Even for my favs, it's always good for everyone to take a season off after doing a few in a row. I'm just sad none ever came back after that for awhile lol
Just finished rewatching Exes 2 and it's probably been asked before but What if Zach & Jonna beat Bananas & Nany in the final exile?
Bananas would have never been burned by Sarah so Rivals 3 might not even happen since they crafted that format around those 2. Sarah might have never retired from challenges or at least did a couple more. Nia might not get kicked off since the vote didn't happen so she might have done more seasons as well. If they make the final I see Jonna coming back potentially as well. Shit Theresa might get her first win bc imo Wes & Theresa would beat Jordan & Sarah in that final.
What if Tonya chose rehab over The Ruins? Would she have done more seasons after? Would she be the atar if All-Stars? Would Veronica of had a better experience and did more seasons? Would Kenny still be a regular? Would the season of had a less dark tone and kept people like Briana and Kim coming back as regulars?
What if Sydney didn't DQ on Seasons and the Road Rules team replaced the Brooklyn team (sorry Devyn). And the OG San Diego team replaced the new San Diego team? Would it have been the greatest season post Fresh Meat 1? I think so.

No. Sam and Ashley K being on inspired me so much and I laughed when the Fresh Meat team was eliminated because it made me sad that non-castmembers were ruining my 16th favorite show.

Actually one of the guys on the vets team saw the final being built on the casts day off. Bc of that production had to throw together a final. I think it was MJ who confirmed that in his Mike Lewis interview.
Coral, Rachel, and Veronica just wanted a break. Plus at the same time Rachel, Veronica, and Tina got offered their own reality which they filmed and then it was never broadcast.

They had a hard time getting that gauntlet 2 cast together, they were asking everyone, including the Austin people who just finished filming. Why else was Jo cast, they were running out of options.

Assuming Cara is out first, Laurel has her eyes on Jonna who slays a couple comps. They are then paired together on rivals 1. Cara is never invited back again. Jonna is a runner up on Rivals 2. Returns for BOTS with more confidence and volunteers for hall brawl and beats Sam. Cancun wins the entire season. She still beefs with Nany so they're paired on Rivals 2 and have a similar outcome but instead make the final due to no Cara/Cooke duo. 2nd place me thinks? She flops on free agents. Same outcome on exes 2.

I don't know. When Theresa broke her final cherry she broke down pretty hard. I still see Sarah and Jordan winning on BOE 2.
