What conflict? The cast was not told the format when they were invited. There is noting in the contract to indicate either the location or the format.
The conflict is Riley said he knew the format and the cast. He was right about the cast, why shouldn't he be viewed as viable for his format prediction as well. Also your post is causing confusion for what molds said, if I'm remembering correctly she said "no one knows the format until people start going home" during the format debate. Prior to that statement she said "it's obvious from the cast it's not vets vs rookies"...To me those are contradictory statements.
So molds knows its not vets vs rookies but won't know the format until elims and Riley knew everything and shared it (the morality of that is not for me to judge, I don't care) but the format he was told is now wrong or right or unknown? Very confusing lol
Can anyone confirm or deny Devyn and Easy's relationship status? I'm just assuming (I don't follow Twitter) that they are broken up. The girl can do so much better for herself than that.
Yeah, Jamie was miscast as they ignored the 5 on 5 challenge with him. I could see that being acceptable but I just don't know how you separate Jonna & Emily. Now it could be "Old School" vs "New School" if we have a decent cut-line (haven't checked for that) but Vets-Rooks doesn't work using their pay scales.
With my cut-line being Cancun, it was 11-21.

Per her interview that she did on YouTube they are not together

She said it couple of times. If you look at this cast a "vets vs. rookies" doesnt make sense. That's why, I'm sure she doesnt know it completly, but she only guessed it.
Per her interview that she did on YouTube they are not together
Tyvm for confirming that. It was just a curiosity of mine.
Even New School vs. Old School doesn't work because you can't split the guys 8/8 regardless of where you break it since Preston & Knight are 8 & 9 were on the same season.
Edit: I got the guys to work using Rivals but the girls still don't work
ellethevegan posted a few pages back giving here thoughts on the players... I noticed she mentioned Rachel from Austin. I'm a bit behind on the threads and I was wondering if I was missing something...
Here's what she said: "Rachel(austin) a military vet wasnt that hot at these things either.. if i remember correctly she was by no means horrid but not great Cooke reminds me of Rachel. "
I'd appreciate if someone cleared up this confusion. :]

What's the confusion? If you're asking if Rachel from Austin is on this challenge the answer is no.

I was. I missed the Devyn replaced Sam conversation, I just wanted to make sure that someone else wasn't replaced. She bolded "Rachel (Austin)", and that confused me a bit. Thanks.

I'd appreciate if someone cleared up this confusion. :]
People were speculating how Cooke might compete and someone mentioned she may be good at competitive sports, but not at challenges.
Rachel ended up being overrated as she lost to a "chubby civilian" on I3 and on G3 at the reunion taping, one of the veterans reported admitted to never picking her to go to the Gauntlet in hopes that she would be the anchor for the final mission (which supposedly upset her).

No problem...lots of information here--easy to miss something.
They can call it something else--doesn't mean they can have Men vs. Women. Mars vs. Venus or something stupid still works.
Why can't they call it Battle of the Sexes? I would think that would be a public domain phrase....someone actually owns the rights to it?

I was as confused as you were...from her post i thought the same thing and got really excited :(

It didn't last long.
I hope this challenge finally gives CT, Emily, Diem, Leeroy and Sarah their win. I would not mind Trishelle, Devyn, Heather C, and Marlon winning as well.
Why can't they call it Battle of the Sexes? I would think that would be a public domain phrase....someone actually owns the rights to it?
That's what someone said--I have no idea how true it is
She said it couple of times. If you look at this cast a "vets vs. rookies" doesnt make sense. That's why, I'm sure she doesnt know it completly, but she only guessed it.
if its just a guess, it could very easily still be Rookies vs. Vets, which still makes the most sense except for 1 person not fitting.
We already know MTV is not strict about their formats, they could easily throw Jonna, Emily or even Trishelle on the rookie team since she had been out of the game for so long
if its just a guess, it could very easily still be Rookies vs. Vets, which still makes the most sense except for 1 person not fitting
That's why I'm confused as well, it seemed like she knew it wasn't Rookies/Vets then said no one knows. Now people are guessing on a color code, but how anyone do a color code if no one knows? /confusion
So I made this a while ago I have been studying it.

This means that, regarding number of challenges, number of years on TV, number of eliminations entered, number of eliminations won, number of finals entered, number of finals won and making money at the end of the challenge, it can't be rookies vs veterans theme using Gauntlet 3 standards (applied also to eliminations won or not).
If anyone can figure out a way to make rookies vs vets work with these stats let me know. Otherwise I'm going to keep thinking that it has to be a diferent kind of format.

I didn't want to requote the whole list to take up space but there's 8 men and 8 women who have won an elimination round. Eliminators vs Losers? Hahahaha

You need to recount that
11 women have won elimination rounds of the 16...Camila, Diem, Devyn, Emily, Jasmine, Jonna, Nany, Naomi, Paula, Sarah & Trishelle

Right? I'd have to say I would cheer if Emily won.I'm definitely rooting for Leroy. About CT and Sarah, my views differ, but good luck to them! Maybe Heather could show her soccer athleticism this time around? ;D
We were all surprised to see that Rivals and Battle of the Exes were both paired challenges and were back to back. I'm thinking that this next challenge will also be 8 teams of 4 people. That or 4 teams of 8 people. I haven't studied the cast enough to put them into teams. But the more and more I read this thread of how, it isn't Rooks vs. Vets, its not Old vs. New, it's too big for a Duel and/or Cutthroat, and they can't do a Champs vs. Challengers. It has to be something new.

You might be on to something. I believe there's 8 Champions in the cast, perhaps each one of them is a team captain and gets to choose a team of 4?

Pretty sure there's only 7 champions...Dunbar, Johnny, Frank, Zach, Wes, Paula & Camila--now if Sam was there this would be possible

thats right, my bad. But it would be pretty cool to see Team Wes vs Team Johnny vs Team Frank etc....maybe they can find a way to justify adding CT as a captain too. I think it'd make for an entertaining format
