Kam comes onto any season and becomes the main character lol

I did not expect her to dominate the screentime this much. Lmao as a Kam fan I kinda want them to tone it down.

Anyways Brandon finally able to show personality, and King Kefla.

The hate on Leroy is weird considering this was a partnered challenge and he never showed he was struggling.

Ace not being able to handle a bug helmet will never not be funny.

There's no shame in that. It's ******* nasty.

They are great at ruining fan favs that is for sure.

Chavo you're getting mad weird than you already were right now. Because mind you, casting was already weird when it was said that Nam was called for this season. So shut the entire **** up

Whatever. I said what I said and stand by it. You mad huh?  Another thing that annoys the shit out of me with Kam and Leroy is they milk having a kid now as a reason to not vote them in. Half of these other people have kids too. You ain't special.  Can't wait until they leave. Ayanna was right.

"You mad huh" well definitely not as much as Kam got you in this thread. Mad enough to be creating multiple essays of how pressed she got you, pressed enough to unfairly blame her for production's incompetent cast choices for next season, and now pressed enough to get you projecting shit just to be mad. Like when did she and Leroy ever use their child to not get voted in? Kam really got you on one to be making shit up now? Like we get it you don't like her, but let's not with the foolishness and delusions lol

I'm surprised to hear that Jasmine would be calling Ayanna when she be talking shit about her

1. It's sad to me that the first 2 men to go were both Black men. This is a trend that better not continue...

2. I just found out Adam lives in a city not far from me. Are he and Averey still seeing one another? There's a Hooters in the town so maybe I should stop by.

1) I firmly believe syrus and kefla didnt volunteer either. Both said "if" not when in those short clips talking about elimination. They were scapegoats and knew it, didn't bother to put up a fight. 2) she recently moved there to be closer with him and yes she does work at the local hooters!

and just adding...the way adam looks when he talks about averey is the ****** CUTEST THING IN THE WORLD.

Also can we all take a moment to be proud of Ace for making it so far - 3 full episodes and at least one more, if not more after that!

Ace has always annoyed me.   His edit this season is a bit more fun.

I guess it's the game, but to me Ayanna didn't make it a big deal. My name is being lied on, and as "Killa Kam", you approaching me beating around the bush.

Simple, who said what? And if you can't say who said what, then let's bring it to the forefront.

Agreed. I get Kam not wanting to name names, throw her friends under the bus, but don't come at Ayanna with that without some legit behind it. Esp since Ayanna just did the same thing in the last women's elim lol.

I love Kam, but this wasn't my fav episode of hers.

Kam is too entitled she makes me sick. And it sucks to know that she is the catalyst of the downfall of All Stars. She was the first AYTo and now they're going to bring CBs and Internationals to finish what Kam started and kill off All stars. Kam sucks.

I've thought this since around the time when the cast dropped last year, but I think this was their plan. They know that people love Kam, so they're gonna try to use her as a springboard to bring in other people who have no business being on All Stars since they know that not many people will be opposed to her being on, or at least not nearly as many people complaining about her being on as there SHOULD be!

Exactly!  I don't see why that idiot Dreamdoll can't see that.

Casting Kam was a test. So far she's gotten a ton of screen time. They're going to say it was a success to cast her and allow all of the other CBs and recent flops to start coming onto All Stars.

Oh shut up you little shit. Aren't you that same user who used to have Kailah as an avi?  Why do you always use ghost accounts?

Kam has always been a big character and that's going to show in a season where half the people aren't big personalities to start with.

That's very different than casting random people from the last few seasons that the general audience doesn't resonate with. Even if you look at the term "All-Stars" she fits it more than the majority of the actual OGs they cast. Production was intentional with the naming of this.

Like Konquerer the only one in here I've seen with a legitimate criticism of a Kam I can agree with. I can even understand not liking her being mad at Cara for something that really doesn't matter.

Y'all just using that girl as a scapegoat for production's bad decisions and the house following her. None of that is HER fault. Let's be fr, don't like her idgaf but let's be real about it.

I think some people don't care if a og isn't as interesting of a personality as a non-og, they still would rather have the og. These same people also paradoxically complain about how lame and boring everyone in the flagshup is. Like I'd love to see Genesis come back but be real: these producers need to make money and get viewers, and you can be delusional all you want but laurel/kam/cara will being more ratings than Genesis (and the name All Stars literally fits them more. This isn't s1 of All Stars, it's season 4, you need to get over the fact that this show isn't only casting people that appeared in the 90s

So theyre making money and getting viewers by casting random internationals? Please. Nobody they cast on season 5 will generate new subscribers. The OGs have a built in loyal audience, cater to those fans for this one single show. Focus on fixing the failures of the flagship instead of inviting the roaches from that show to infest all stars.

girl we are talking about all stars 4

im referring to those complaining about ppl like jordan, kam, even laurel and cara and kailah being cast like it's some sort of sin

I don't think AYTO should've touched this show for another few years but at least I can understand casting a big name like Kam, you need those names to keep things interesting and fans engaged.

Now, I don't want them casting people outside of the MTV sphere. That's where you lose me because AYTO felt like an inevitability if this show made it 5+ seasons. But, debuts from s37 and above? People who debuted on a CBS program or Survivor: Romania. We have to be serious.

Ok but Genesis was an alternate, and some of us only mentioned her because Janelle left so we were saying Genesis could have been a sub for that elimination so that one was at least held.

The "All Stars" concept did start out as being for the OGs, but Wes, Jonna, etc weren't true OGs and were on previous seasons. I think developing to where true All Stars of the franchise are involved makes sense as you need some variety in players season to season. Ideally they'd stay within a certain parameter, though. Kam is not only still a relatively new Challenge player, but she didn't even come from the initial world of Real World/Road Rules/Challenge so I can see where she'd be viewed differently by some.

Like you got four seasons of people you never in a million years thought would be back and tbh even since season 1 all half of this message board has done is complain about it

Oh sorry, I am still tight about all stars 5, my bad.

I do think putting the blame on kam for the direction of 5 is really weird. Production been doing what they want from season 1, but blaming season 5 casting on kam is unreasonable. This is productions fault, not anybody on the cast.

even season 1 i remember ppl mad that JONNA got cast

Cause why are like six people from recent seasons being picked over multiple OGs who have expressed interest? They are the priority.

No reason Kefla and Flora should not have been at the top of the list of calls. And, they've gotten decent edits for two people not involved in any storylines personality always shines through.

*continues ranting at noone in particular*Laurel debuted 13(!) years before her All Stars season (2010). That's longer than the time period between the first challenge and her debut. At this point Laurel, by any objective measure, is an og.

i agree about as 5 direction sucking tho

it really is their personalities shining through. You dont need crazy drama, just watchable personalities. I rewatch the all stars episodes (havent done that for the flagship since maybe free agents?!) because theyre just so fun and you can notice new things on a rewatch. I kept thinking how kefla and flora just effortlessly show their personalities, theyre so genuine and authentic to who they are. It is so refreshing. Their confessionals IMO are more entertaining than the seasoned flagship vets, and I would put the jay and nicoles on par with vacation alliance confessionals. (i find them to be forced and try hard, you dont really get a sense of who they are as a person). But instead theyre going to cast majority of people who are stiff in confessionals, dont have a great grasp of english, who don't let the audience see who they really are and the audience has no connection to them?

Production is purposely obtuse because we have spelled out all the reasons why we love all stars and they are hell bent on ruining it.

Personally, I don't mind AYTO being on as long as they debuted on the Challenge pre-pandemic. Like it's been 8-9 years since they started putting those cast members on the show, as long as they've got a bit of a legacy is fine cause they're at least MTV. So Kam, Amanda, etc are fine -- Asaf big no.

Internationals people don't even care about on the flagship should absolutely have no place. CBS at least has some fans but still shouldn't be on yet unless they were OGs/All-Stars of their original shows, which none they want to cast were/are.

I think the point for many is that All Stars was created to benefit OGs who were no longer really on the flagship show for various reasons (aged out, filming is too long, etc). If All Stars gets filled with people who are also on the main Challenge shows, then it means the OGs will be getting pushed out again (as we've already seen). I certainly understand that concern.

There's literally ZERO authenticity in reality TV anymore. Every reality show on every network seems like your watching actors. Nobody has any real personality. They are all playing a character and worried about what social media thinks of them. All Stars was the only reality show where we got people with real personalities. People from the golden age that made the world fall in love with reality tv. We'll never get that on TV again because of the way society is. People don't even have social skills to have likable personalities anymore. They literally had the best product they've put out in almost a decade and decided to ruin in because they can't put their egos to the side. Listen to your fans! Smh

It just sucks because they have so many OGs wanting to do it. They can easily put together a cast for the OG fans and one the casuals would tune it too. It's so unnecessary bringing people that 99% of the fanbase doesn't want.
