I am going to try to keep this one short(er) and sweet! I think I pretty much agree with you on everything. I totally forgot that Abe and Coral were hooking up too though. I wonder what really went down. I felt really bad for Katie too. She was ****** about the way she handled it all though. She stood up for herself and that was great to see. I totally agree about TJ being the worst host there was. Johnny, I don't really remember all that much about him, but I don't think he could be any worse than TJ. Dave just seems like a great guy. Thank you for bringing up all the amazing moments of the Kendal v. Leah Inferno, it really was the best episode of the season. Did Abe call someone a ****h because he was pissed about throwing the missions? I remember on the reunion he tried to backpedal and say he never was into it even though he laughed in Katie's face. And of course, David is a mess.
I think I've seen basically all the challenges at some point in time, except Fresh Meat. I just really have no interest in anything that brought us Diem, Evan and Kenny. Thank you for the suggestions!! And to the person who suggested G2, I never realized how many old school people were on that one so I am definitely re-watching that when I get a chance.
And V1, that's so nice to hear about Syrus! He really should come back for one.
I sorta agree with you Faceless. I, too, liked Diem on FM. I'm a HUGE Derrick fan... that may be why.
The exile rant was a little much though. Nothing she said made sense. Derrick would never complain about going into exile... and if he had a different partner, he maybe have come back. Who knows.....
I guess that leaves me pretty neutral about her...

thanks
I think Derrick could have come back from exile if they didn't pack so much weight. I'm almost positive it was her who packed all that weight. Wes only kept coming back because Casey didn't pack a lot of weight. So I don't think that he should say he's better then everyone else. When it came to FM at least.

It was either for that reason or the fact that their opponents forgot to grab their flags from the checkpoints
I didn't know where to post this but are Jillian and Frank still together?
They have not been together for many months. They remain friends.

Personally, I think she is very special, and not simply because she is "hot;" her "hotness" is just a bonus.

Good Job.. Your a jack of all trades arent you? lol
What was Jill even from? Road Rules Viewer Revenge? I swear to God during the Gauntlet 3 my favorite part of the show was to shout "THIS PERSON HAS NEVER BEEN ON MTV BEFORE...THIS HAS TO BE A JOKE" at half the cast. I fell off watching Fresh Meat and all those last Road Rules so I had NFI who a lot of the people were.

Jillian had a shortlived role on RR Xtreme (the RR season prior to RR:VR), since she was the very last replacement castmember, along with Angela and Nick.

She was on Road rules extreme. I believe she replaced Ibis. Jullian was also on G2, but was sent home by Kina in the last female gauntlet.

Sorry, but is it too much to expect that you might Google her?
I Googled "Jillian MTV" and received 495,000 returns in less than one second. Every listing on the first page was 100% relevant.

I hear you. And normally when I have NFI who someone is, that's exactly what I do. Wikipedia has been my best friend in this. But part of me asking was to see if she was a very prominent person from these shows that everybody on here knew about or if anyone would drop some insight on what she was like on her show (because everybody here seems to know a lot of inside stuff!). But sure, next time I'll just Google....

It's very understandable if you didn't know who Jillian was. I didn't watch her on RR, but I saw she was on the cast for G2 and that she was a RR Xtreme girl from websites. But they didn't show her saying anything for a while during G2. If it wasn't for the whole deal of her later during the show telling the team that Cara approached her about a possible alliance with Brad, David, and Timmy (I think it was those three), as well as having Kina pick her for a gauntlet, she would not have received screen time, it seems.
So, no, she wasn't a very prominent cast member. All I really heard about her from her original season is that she was apparently in high school still when she did RR and she was known for hooking up with Patrick the first day she was on the RV (and apparently he treated her rudely at some point). On G2 she was the one who told Kina and co. about the alliance talk between Cara and the Vet guys on G2 - in process setting of a big drama between Kina & Cara, etc. I felt she was much more prominent in G3 because of her relationship with Frank and her being sacrificed to the gauntlet by the Austin-Tori-Janelle alliance in G3.

Jillian was very young when she did road rules--as stated above, she was still in high school. I think she has grown up a lot since then and has become an intelligent, confident woman. I don't think it's important to know about her background on the shows. She has clearly learned a lot in the time since.
V1, if you would like to, I have never realized why Beth cried on The Gauntlet 2. i have seen the season and realized what went on, but i never thought Beth was affected by what was said to her or about her.

You may have missed the rather in depth and insightful commentary on that episode which Beth wrote at that time.
Here it is:
I've usually thought the editing on Gauntlet 2 was pretty fair. I think the editors have usually done an excellent job in telling the story. Tonight, however, there were a few things taken out of context and time sequence that do make a difference. If you take things out of the order they happened, it gives a different meaning; so I have to call out a few things.
NUMBER 1- When you see me crying outside, that is the night Syrus left, which was several shows earlier. I was emotional that night because Syrus is a very good friend in my personal life. That was the night when I overheard Aneesa and the peanut gallery talking about me. I confronted Aneesa, and when I did, she nearly sh** her pants. She had nothing to say.
For some reason the software would not let me post the remainder of Beth commentary, so here it is.
NUMBER 2- I was vocal in the house and with the team about never doing “beach brawl” if it came down to me doing this in the gauntlet. This is why Aneesa went crazy when the wheel landed on beach brawl. She knew if the wheel landed on either Beach Brawl or Challenger’s Choice, that I would not participate. The producers knew it as well. When we got to the Gauntlet, they did a retake three times which really pissed me off. They weren't getting the reaction they wanted out of me so they did retakes. This is the first time I personally experienced this.
It doesn’t really matter what people think of me. I do what's best for me and never fall for peer pressure. I hope many of you are the same way. I've known all along, my team didn't have a chance and we didn't deserve to win the money because we didn't play it to win. People on my team were playing for popularity, for who they could drink with, have sex with, and maybe do other stuff with. I don't have respect for this. Never have-Never will.
BEACH BRAWL- I've witnessed this with Derrick and Ace and then Derrick and Syrus. It was ugly and bloody. I didn't think I was on the Jerry Springer show, so it was time for me to go. As I said on the After Show and made clear to the producers, this gauntlet was degrading to women and I wouldn't do it. I know not everyone will agree with my decision. In the end, I know it wasn't worth fighting for. We weren't going to win and the best thing I could do to get revenge on my team was to keep Aneesa there. is my departing strategy, and I know it will work and my team will fail. It's very easy for Aneesa to run her mouth after the fact, because she knew I wasn't going to compete.
Thanks V1man; that was an interesting read. I remember reading Beth's commentaries at the time, but it's interesting to go back now and see what she had to say. We saw her relationship with Aneesa evolve on the Duel, but she also seems to think much more highly of Brad now than she did then. It's funny to read back on all that alliance stuff from the G2 right after V1Man made a comment about Brad not being as nice as everyone thinks. I think that alliance was totally a real suggestion, and if it had worked out, Brad would have been happy to throw missions in exchange for the safety. IIRC, his denials on the aftershow and at the reunion were more attempts to not take credit for the idea and to insist it wouldn't have come to fruition than any attempt at pretending he hadn't had anything to do with it, which was sort of amusing. I also remember, at the time, a few people were wondering about Brad and Cara and their relationship.
Cara's allegation on her aftershow that Brad told her that Randy cheated on Kina seems to hold some more weight now, as well.
Cara's allegation on her aftershow that Brad told her that Randy cheated on Kina seems to hold some more weight now, as well.
The sad thing is that Cara felt the need to bring it up. It was a personal thing and entirely unnecessary on Cara's part. I've never recovered from the low opinion of Cara I felt at that time, no matter how many nice things Susie told me about her.

I'm not sure if my intentions were misunderstood or not, but I was not picking on her when I wrote what I read. Just giving info on her since perishable brought her up and didn't know much about her. Those are the situations/things a lot of viewers know Jillian by. I actually rooted for Jillian (and Frank) on G3 - I preferred them to the Austin alliance group. I felt Jillian was one of the better competitors on her team and I was glad she made it to the end.
I think it's good to know some background information on cast members. To me it makes them more interesting and you can see if they've grown sometimes when you see them do later challenges or interviews and such. Also sometimes it can help you understand why people are the way they are.
On the subject of Brad, Cara, and the alliance, I think Brad would have been willing to do that as well. Wasn't he also going along with the guys throwing missions on G3 initially? If he wasn't, he was trying to cover up what the others were doing, it seems, since I remember him trying to explain something and Coral was telling him to not give her that. I really do like him, though. Don't think he's a saint, but I think overall he's a good guy. Cara - I think she has a snooty/shady element to her, but I think she can kind of get away with it a little at times with certain people because of her looks. I've even noticed viewers sometimes give her a pass for things because she's pretty.

Thanks so much! I just started watching G2 and noticed her there...and was kind of shocked! I really thought she came out of nowhere on G3, but apparently she's been around a little bit. I appreciate the insight! Also, I can't imagine still being in high school and being on one of these shows. Crazy!
Also, I think Cara is horrible as well. I do however laugh whenever I see ads for that CW show featuring none other than her ex-roadie bf Dave.
I don't think anybody really sees Brad as a saint. Obviously he's been around the block enough to know you have to join alliances etc. to get further in the game and I think he learnt how to work the interviews etc to make himself look better of course. But to me...that's just smart and kind of makes me like him more.

She was clearly bitter and aiming for the kill. At the time, I thought it was terrible of her to say something like that to hurt Kina, assuming she had made it up. I still think it was terrible, but now I'm sort of inclined to believe it was true. Which actually makes it worse. God knows why Brad would feel the need to tell that kind of information to someone like Cara to begin with. If I were Kina I would have been furious with her, obviously, but also perturbed with Brad since he was a friend.
I'm not sure if my intentions were misunderstood or not, but I was not picking on her when I wrote what I read. Just giving info on her since perishable brought her up and didn't know much about her.
Oh no, not at all. I was just noting that while I'm sure most people remember her for some fairly specific things on road rules, I think she has really grown up and would want to point that out to anyone who might be receiving that information for the first time. It was sort of an addendum to the information you provided.
I also thought Cara was making things up during that time as well. It just seemed like it was convenient for her to do so after having a spat with Kina. But in light of recent information, could have been true. I also thought there could have possibly been a flirtation between Brad and Cara that might not have been shown. Not saying that's what happened, but perhaps they were getting chummy and Brad let that info about Randy slip out. Could have been drunk as well. But I agree, I did not like how Cara threw that out there. The Aftershow seems to bring that out in some people, though. Some castmembers have put gossip out there (stuff that people seemed to not want out there and other things) or fabricated some things. And often the person spilling the info or fabricating the info does it concerning a person they felt wronged by or they just didn't like. Sometimes I think the cast members are joking in certain instances, but if it's shown a cast member don't like someone, it makes it hard to figure out if the info is true or a joke.
