I remember on the awards show red carpet she made a comment about Tonya possibly being on drugs.
Yeah, to me, it seemed she was just making a joke about how Tonya seemed to be the same person since the last time she'd seen her - acting kind of crazy. I don't think Rachel necessarily disliked Tonya as much as Tina or Veronica. I remember reading in an interview back during Inferno 2 in which Rachel claimed she tried to be there for Tonya (before or at the beginning of I2) or at least she was trying to see a different side of her, but after a while she saw what the others saw in her. I think without Rachel being around Veronica, and with her being out of the challenges for a while, she wasn't as bothered by Tonya.
Well Tonya and Rachel were really close friends on Battle Of The Sexes. They were originally partners in one episode but Rachel and Tonya gave up their partners because Amaya and Veronica had already been partners. When Tonya had the lowest points and stayed because the inner circle eliminated Amaya, Rachel smiled at Tonya and was sitting right beside Tonya (who injured who leg). Even in the gauntlet 1, when Tonya lost the gauntlet. Rachel and Veronica were right there with her to comfort her and Veronica even gave her a kiss. I think they all started disliking her in Battle of the sexes 2 when Tonya changed so much from before. I don't understand why Tonya randomly did a 180....
I loved Tonya on I2. I didn't like Rachel, Veronica or Tina at all on I2. They were so mean.

I don't think Tonya changing gave them a reason to jump on her though. I honestly think it was because they need somebody to latch onto and drain. I like all three of them, especially Rachel and Veronica, Tina is annoying. I just think Tonya has been mistreated so much on these shows.
Tonya's elimination was so depressing. With Jenn, Tonya, and Ryan crying, and Rachel's little speech thing. I thought it was sad.
Ryan? Don't get it twisted, Ryan said he wanted Tonya there because she is crazy. Ryan feeds off the drama, he's not there for the competition.
Ryan? Don't get it twisted, Ryan said he wanted Tonya there because she is crazy. Ryan feeds off the drama, he's not there for the competition.
Yeah I know. I thought tiwas a little awkward when he said that stuff to her, but oh well.
I wish there was some way to watch all of the older seasons, but Mtv, only has from Fresh Meat to present.
I know this post is old and someone may have already suggested this (I only read the first few pages of the thread so far), but TVGasm has recaps of most of the episodes for a lot of the challenges. Not as great as watching them, but it's something. You can read the "play by play" of the episodes, and the recaps are usually funny. I think it starts with Battle of the Sexes 2. Too bad they don't have Battle of the Seasons or the first Battle of the Sexes. For BOTS1 I used to love reading Melissa and Colin's blogs, they were hilarious. I might have a way to find them (I think Melissa deleted the old posts and Colin's site is gone), but I don't have time to look right now.

I just think Tonya has been mistreated so much on these shows.
I agree that those girls treated Tonya badly - it was painful to watch, and I didn't like it. But I have seen some of the same thing in Tonya (i.e. throwing Beth's clothes in the pool, saying she doesn't care if Robin was with Mark at the time she hooked up with him - said on The Aftershow, messing around with David when her friend Katie was dating him, etc), though I don't think she does things as nearly maliciously as people like Veronica and Tina have. I also think that Tonya kind of fed into the drama on I2 as well and acted like a mess. It seems everyone on that challenge thought she was kind of a disaster. And I agree with tj on what she said about Ryan. He did try to act like all friendly to Tonya on The Island in some scenes, but he was saying he loved her and didn't want her to go because she's crazy. I don't know if he sincerely liked or cared about her at all.
Rachel said on the I2 reunion special type thing, that Tonya made herself the outcast. I mean that still isn't a very good reason to pick on her, but come on, it's Tina, Veronica, and Rachel!
I think they should have just ignored her as much as possible, but they seemed to make it a point to mess with her. I remember one scene she moved out of the room, but Veronica followed her. On the flip side, though, I think Tonya should have just left them alone as well. She knew they didn't like her, so she should have tried to hang with someone else, hang out in the big group setting, or did her own thing. Dan once suggested she go write in her journal and do her own thing, but she kept going back to them.
Yeah she did keep giving them attention which is why they kept being mean to her. At one point they were walking down the steps and Tonya started following them for some creepy reason. Then when she was like, "What? Why are you still here?" they all started laughing at her. They LOVED when she would attempt arguing with them.
Since I mentioned Colin's (Hawaii) and Melissa's (N.O.) blogs about Battle of the Sexes I thought I'd post links. Colin's "Magic Brownies" post is priceless. I haven't read any of the other posts yet, haven't seen them in years, but I'm sure there's tons of funny stuff in both of them. Plus there's other random posts too. Anyone else know of any old cast member blogs? Post 'em if you find 'em. :)

A friend told me about it a while back so I thought it might work to find the blog. If you tell me the URL for Sarah's blog I might be able to find it. I'm not familiar with her blog (though I did watch the show).
Kendal had blogs for the original Inferno as well. They weren't hilarious or anything, but they were pretty informative. I was a pretty big fan of The Miz's blogs. He did them for all but BotSeasons which I wish he would've. Is his website still up?
im pretty sure her blog was sarahfiasco.com
Sorry, nothing comes up for that. Well, I did get some results, but the links don't bring up her site. God, I thought I loved Sarah before but after seeing this, I love her even more. Pavement, Pixies, Television...we are so musically compatible, it's scary. ;)

When I saw you last post talking about it (this was before I saw the post of yours I quoted in this post), I thought you were just saying "wayback" as a joke, LOL! Anyway, it's a neat site and I am having fun with it, looking up mtv.com to find some of the web features for older RW, RR, and challenge seasons (well, older seasons since the internet has been super popular). Unfortunately the videos don't work for me, but it's fun reading some of the interview, cast takes on episodes and situations, journals, 20 Questions, etc.

Isn't it awesome? A friend told me about it a while back and I kind of forgot about it for a while. I thought about using it on mtv.com, but my internet connection at the moment sucks and I figured it'd take forever to find stuff. If you find anything especially interesting, would you mind posting links? Too bad the videos don't work, a lot of times pictures don't either.
