I think season 29 will be somewhere blah and then Season 30 will be somewhere wow like Manhattan or San Francisco.
But since season 29 will be filmed in the summer I think they may avoid Atlanta.

It's following the exact same schedule as RW:Portland. So there's a good chance that it will be filmed during the same time that 28 was, Aug - November
I like the idea of Atlanta. But after a city like Portland, I think they need something bigger and better than ATL. How about Rio or Cape Town or Spain? People on twitter seem to really want a Vancouver season
Real world can totally go to Cape Town... Inferno 3 sucked.. but the location was great! I'd love to see a real world set there!
or Amsterdam :) haha that would be fun
I'd even be up for a back to Hawaii season... they could call it The Real World: Maui
Gold Coast Australia would be an awesome place!! Awesome people, great beach, lots of tourists, it would be a nice place to have the next real world cast!

That would be nice an all but the majority of Americans have never heard of the Gold Coast. St Thomas part II.
If its going to be an international city it has it be extremely well known.
Even with Cape Town, I feel the best promotional strategy would be to name it The Real World: Africa.
I think the Gold Coast and Cape Town are pretty well known tourist towns around the world... Cape Town more so, but when I hear Gold Coast I think surfers paradise, beaches, and tourists
I just want them to go somewhere new, fun, and appealing... it'd be a little rare for them to go overseas after only one season back in the US... but seeing as the show is slowly coming to a close, I think big destinations is the only way to draw viewers in now.
Considering none of the other past international season have gone down too well it terms of ratings, I think the only locations that have a chance at doing well are:
TRW: Hong Kong (Stylized TRW: China)
TRW: Moscow (I know this would never happen)
TRW: Rio
TRW: Tokyo
And I think thats just because people would be intrigued.

***? Please tell me you did not just say St. Thomas was unheard of? Kmsl@u
Wtf? Please tell me you did not just say St. Thomas was unheard of? Kmsl@u
It was. If you went up to the average American viewer and asked them where St. Thomas was, they wouldn't know. ***** THE CAST DIDN'T EVEN KNOW.
I can honestly say that I'd never heard of St. Thomas before TRW. In fact St. Thomas sounds like a name of hospital to me.
Had the season been called The Real World: Virgin Islands I think at the very least it would have added 100k viewers on to each episode. Probably 500k.

That's because these are stupid *** kids...**** the viewer.
I'll be honest, I didn't know where St. Thomas was either. The name sounded familiar but if I was asked where it was, I wouldn't be able to answer Virgin Islands right away. I would've definitely needed some help. I don't think that makes me stupid though, it's just not a location that in my experience that is as commonly known.

Not you I mean the St. Thomas cast.
Not you I mean the St. Thomas cast.
Haha yeah I know you didn't mean me, necessarily. I just can't fault them for not knowing since I probably would have been asking the same questions.
The Real World execs need to be watching their own marathon and rehash this. This is thousand times better than the **** on now.
Excluding the upside down, side angel shots, maybe.

I actually don't mind the camera editing, it actually makes it seem more...real, to me, more like a documentary which this show basically is (or was supposed to be).
When it has more Hills-like editing IMO it takes away the authentic-ness.
