I think Emilee's comment was just as bad as Aiiya's and it frustrates me that nobody was bothered by it.
Don't worry, you're not alone, not that I'm defending what Ayiiia said, but I think what Emilee did was worse. I explained why on my post on page 18, I think there was more ill will from Emilee than from Ayiiia, cause she was the first one to bring the baggage into the argument without thinking twice, Ayiiia did too, but as I said earlier her ego was probably very hurt by then and she had to resort to that to salvage it from crumbling. I mean they were both pissed so it's kinda understandable, but I think Emilee acted more like a brat from the beginning.
I'm really frustrated by this season thus far. I find myself really empathizing with Aiiiya and not really caring about the rest of the cast. I realize that I'm not seeing 100% of what's happened to cause people to feel the way I do, but I just haven't seen Aiiiya do anything wrong. She seems to be very honest with people and I just don't think they can handle it. What I find the most annoying is how Jasmine and Emilee were mad at her for confronting them about the way they were treating her. Why were they so bothered by the fact that she overheard them talking trash. I mean, really. If you're going to speak loudly about someone in a house without doors, you shouldn't be upset that they heard you. It seemed like when she attempted to find out what was wrong, they just blew up in her face. It also seemed like they were very quick to discard her friendship to be cool with the boys and Jonna, maybe to be the majority instead of the minority. I don't like that at all. From what I've seen, they tend to blow up over very petty things. I wouldn't neccesarily jump to someone's aid when they're yelling at someone over telling them several times that they have to leave in ____ minutes. But I would if someone spit in my friend's taco or if someone wanted everyone to pitch in and clean the house. This brings me to another point, why are they so anti-cleaning? This always bugs me about the Real World casts, they always hate the person who wants things to be reasonably clean. It's gross and immature to not clean up after yourself or pitch in with daily/weekly chores. I'm always for the person who wants everyone else to clean up and dumbfounded when the rest of the cast *****es. Ok, last point, since I'm new, I have a lot. But I agree with those who said that Jonna seems to exclude herself. Labeling yourself as a "guy's girl" or whatever is basically saying "Hey girls, we're not going to be friends." TBH, she doesn't even seem like a REAL guy's girl to me. More like a girl who clings to guys because she needs constant male attention and affection. That would turn me off completely. I think that there's a huge difference between girls who are just more like guys, and girls who throw themselves all over guys and purposely exclude themselves from girls. One of the most frustrating things for me was when she got mad over the taco thing in the other episode. She claimed the girls were being rude to her. All they were saying is that they would've given her a taco had Joey not spit on them, causing them to have less tacos. I mean, really, what's so hard to comprehend? Oh well, maybe next week will be better.
I agree completely Jessay, I like Ayiiia a lot, though I like the rest of the cast as well. My least favorite would have to be Emilee just cause she's kinda self-righteous and selfish without realizing it, of all the roommates I think she's the one that tries to understand the others the less, and is fast to judge them. Now, I would probably like her more if it wasn't Ayiiia she hurt just cause I'm liking her so much, but it's not like I hate her, I mean she's young, she's entitled to be immature, and in her defense, I can say that, when outside of any drama, she seems really fun to be around. I also respect her a lot for how she backed Ayiiia when she had her fight with Joey, and she's also gorgeous. Regarding Jonna and the tacos, I see where she was coming from, cause she was offered a taco and it seems no one told her she wasn't getting any after Joey spit on them, and when she asked for one, the reply she got was that Joey had spit on them, as if that was a reasonable explanation. It was only reasonable for Emilee and Ayiiia to eat the remaining tacos if they paid for them and Joey ruined some. but they could have been more polite and considerate by letting Jonna know beforehand that she wasn't gonna get any (so she could buy something) or at least be a little more honest and upfront when Jonna went to ask for a taco.
And the fun and drama continues... All the guys are cool to me now...Before I disliked Joey and Derreck, but they have grown on me...CJ by far is the coolest person in the house...Hopefully an NFL team gives him a chance after watching the RW lol...I wouldn't mind seeing him play for my Dallas Cowboys lol...Now to the girls...All of them are cool except for Aiiya...Why does it seem that the internet winners have to act like a ***** on the show?...First it was the "Chosen One" and now its Aiiya... Also Emilee is now my favorite girl on the show...At first she looked like she was going to be the quiet outcast, but after this episode she is the quiet sexy *****...You mess with her and she will go on your ***...My perfect girl lol
I don't get it. It was perfectly acceptable for Emilee to tell Aiiya that nobody likes her, but it was a low blow to tell Emilee that she's adopted. . . ok. I think Emilee's comment was just as bad as Aiiya's and it frustrates me that nobody was bothered by it.
I think they were both in the wrong, especially seeing after the uncut version from the dailies, but if someone were to say to me "nobody likes to me" or "at least I wasn't adopted". I would rather have somebody said nobody likes me than pull out the adoption card. I don't know, maybe I just see if it differently because I am adopted. You can't help it if your adopted.

LOL it's funny how people are comparing "the one that should not be named," and Ayiiia. Ayiiia never walked around saying she is the best thing that happen to RW. Many forget how edit twist things. Ayiiia is the type of person who puts a wall up, because certain people that she loved screwed her over. It's not east to trust 7 strangers....plus it's the RW God forbid their is a psycho that will use it agaisnt her, and cause more damage. Another thing is that Ayiiia is just honest. She tells people how she feels, and doesn't keep it bottled up inside. She isn't even close to "the one that should not be name."

Either way, neither comments should have been said.

I thought there was nothing wrong for Ayiiia to want Emilee to tell her what the problem was instead of talking behind her back. I just didn't like that comment.

I don't believe she's anything like him but I can see why they are compared. And I do think its the "Internet winner curse", because people already come with a general idea of who you are. Right now, she's kind of the person in the house that everyone has a problem with, and it was the same with him. I never said she was like him.

Where can I read Ayiiia's blog?

I really thought Ayiiia would be my favorite cast member this season. But after watching this episode, she's definitely not my favorite.

Does anyone ever listen to the background music on the episodes? "Look at him, he's getting a trim..". LOL, seriously though?
umm....seriously?
Yes seriously, lol. It was when Jonna was doing the boys hair. haha.
I like the background music that they use in these episodes. I also like the club music that played on this episode.

Being told that nobody likes you is a harsh "fact" that Aiiiya might not have known, so it could really hurt her feelings. I absolutely hate it when people use the comeback "Well, nobody likes you," for a lot of reasons. One person should not be speaking for everyone else because they're angry. Maybe the other roommates got annoyed with her from time to time, but they might not specifically not like her. It's really rude and really out of line. Saying, "At least I'm not adopted" is really just more nonsensical than anything. It's not an insult at all, it's just a circumstance.

Because saying "At least I'm not adopted is rude." Ayiiia may have not meant it but it was a rude thing to say, and you should never say that to anybody. Some people just don't get it. Its kind of like saying "Your parents didn't want you." I've had things like that said to me before and it was meant in a hurtful way. Some people just don't understand.
No, I'm not adopted, but it seems like being adopted is something that you know for a fact, so why should it hurt you for someone to mention it in an argument? Saying, "At least I'm not adopted" is really just more nonsensical than anything. Ayiiia herself said that it was totally out of line, and she apologized and learned from it. Bottom line, Emilee and Ayiiia got into a fight, it got heated, both said things that were probably below the belt. Both of them have felt bad, both of them apologized, both of them are over it.
"At least I'm not adopted" is not only rude, but it's also a terrible insult. No offense to Ayiiia, because she's my favorite in the house as of now, but Emilee can't help that she is adopted lol. Me and my friends were talking about how it isn't much of an insult. Either way, as LM said, Ayiiia clearly acknowledged it wasn't the right thing to say, so at this point it's kind of moot. But I figured I'd throw that out there. :p
I just thought it was a resonable explanation. I don't know what wasn't reasonable about it.
What I don't find reasonable is that, unless they had labeled them priorly, which they didn't of course, the tacos that they discarded were not Jonna's but just the ones that got spit on. In other words, they just didn't want to share the remaining tacos with her after they lost one or two. I'd had found it more reasonable if they said this, but obviously it required more sincerity and boldness, then again, if they weren't gonna share any with her, why didn't they let her know so that she could buy something else? Imagine going to bed with an empty stomach (having been hungry for while before) just because two people forgot to tell you that they were not gonna share with you (after being told they were) cause some other guy spit on the food. Is that reasonable enough for you? Would you say something like, oh that's a shame!, and just proceed to sleep very hungry? I don't blame the two of them cause they were on a fight and of course they had their minds on other issues, but if they had apologized to Jonna for failing to warn her that she wasn't getting any food, they wouldn't have been so at fault, instead, they try to dodge responsibility by claiming Joey was the one to blame, when in fact it was they who decided not to share the remaining tacos with her. Wasn't Jonna entitled to get a little mad? I think she actually handled it perfectly, she didn't get that mad, and it was only ok for Jonna to tell them not to say they were gonna share, and then come up with a reason like that without letting her know beforehand she isn't getting any food.
Hate to say it, but this season has been kinda lame. I saw 1 1/2 episodes and I think I've had enough. No real storyline and too much immature drama for me. Sorry RW:Cancun cast.
um....what? no story line? It is lame to stop watching after only 1.5 episodes. I gave Brooklyn a solid 5 eisode before I gave it up.
