For clarification, the others aren't boring as in having boring personalities, but they aren't as dramatic as Emilee, Jasmine, Ayiiia. When I said boring I meant lacking in drama.
Maybe there's more to come later this season. We'll just have to wait and see...
I feel bad for Jonna. At least she has the guys there to hang out with so she isn't completely alone. Although, it hasn't shown if she has tried to form friendships with Emilee, Ayiiia, and Jasmine.
It seems that Jonna is too busy, cuddling and running off with CJ to try to connect with the girls..its a 2 way street..I dont view it as the girls nesscarly leaving her out
Okay, this is just something I noticed.
When watching the show on MTV.com the show looks different than it does on TV. It was the same way for the Duel 2.
When the episode is played on TV, it looks more like a reality show. The picture is different. Anybody else notice that?

Before it felt like you were actually there filming it but now it looks kind of like... a movie. I don't really know how to explain it. But the picture does look different.

Anyone have any idea why? I don't like it.
I'm not making up anything. I'm simply providing a possible explanation for all of the drama surrounding Jonna and the other girls. It's just a theory that may or may not have played a part in the drama.
Why is it so hard for people to believe that there are gay men who don't thrive on drama. So they stay out of it as much as possible and they try not to cause drama. And who would definitely not start any drama that would eventually hurt your good friend. I know some guys that are only happy when your friends are unhappy to make yourself feel better. But there are gay men who actually want our friends to be happy and not be miserable. And the last thing we would want is to be the cause of our friends discomfort.
So before you try painting Derek as the Drama Starting Queen, read what the fellow vevmo readers are saying and stop jumping to conclusions, and making up your own, before you even know him. Just because you think you know what a typical gay latino is like, let me tell you, you don't. Some of us would rather have fun with the people we're gonna spend a lot of time with, instead of having them think we are two faced *****es.
the people that said that jasmine, ayiiia, and emilee were their favs i agree. I'm not too sure about jasmine yet though she seems pretty cool but i'll just have to watch and wait for the rest of the season. Even though Ayiiia seems like a "villan" on this season I just think she's really really misunderstood. And since Emilee and Ayiiia are very much alike they had a huge clash which only made things progressively worse. I have a feeling Ayiiia is going to apologize though because she's an awesome person and realizes her mistakes. The hookup was pretty hot though lol I have a feeling there might be more between those two!

Oh and word.
I've always been torn on this...yes, we get to hear both sides of the story, but I think users often stifle themselves a bit too, knowing that certain cast members are lurking.
*edit* I do think that Ayiiia is more likable than Trisha or JD though! In all honesty. Trisha and JD....ughhhh
No I agree about Trisha. I just didn't like her in general but If she was on Vevmo and able to explain herself, it would be a completely different story.

Wonderfully written...I am very impressed!
Whenever I see JB Chavez (sp?) on twitter or posted here I think of the N'Syncer and each time continue to correct myself that it isn't. And then I think, your tearing up my heart when I'm with you..and when we were are apart I feel it too..
I don't know, really. LOL. I just remember that they switched to HD.
Did they say it was only going to HD on the site? Sorry, I'm just really annoyed lol. It looks fake.

That was JC from Nsync.....

I know. The names sound similar so I think it is him once reading tweets or Vevmo posts, and then I realize its not. ;) Silly me.

MTV isn't an HD channel, correct? So I don't think that it's possible to broadcast it on TV in that kind of HD. Maybe I have no idea what I'm talking about though :unknw:
Anyway, I've read through this thread, and my opinion about this episode remains pretty similar to last week's. Of all the drama that occured in this episode (Ayiiia's, Emilee's) I think both were in the wrong at the particular time that they were having the worst problems. I felt the same way about Ayiiia and Joey last week.
Also, I agree wholehartedly with what jbchvz98 said. It's very hard to sit and watch these shows and not judge the roomates, but I think the fact that we don't really know them has to be kept in mind. All we know about them is the edit that MTV presents to us.
I think its funny that those of you who are preaching "dont judge them you dont know what happened there" were really quick to judge (almost crucify) JD last season - sounds like hypocrisy to me.

Or possibly....they learned their lesson!
Is it wrong that I enjoy reading the vevmo commentary and responses more than I enjoyed the show?
Oh the episode/castmates I would say yes it does make a difference when someone comes on here and provides behind the scenes info. When Ayiia or Joey or whomever comes on and says here's some back story to ponder, yes it makes me consider more than just what the editors gave us. I don't extend the same curtesy to others. I don't really feel compelled to give characters on a show the same benefit of the doubt I give to people in reality and when they remain on my tv they remain essentially two dimensional characters. When someone chooses to talk about their experience in more depth and provide context, they become more than a character on a show. So thanks to all the castmates for coming on and sharing their sides of the story, and glad to know Ayiiia and Emilee worked it all out!
That said once again, I could see all sides of this week's argument. One thing I've learned though is that guys can be every bit as petty as females so I don't really buy into the whole "the girls were catty and the guys were just SO above it all" argument. It seemed like everyone was talking behind everyone else's back (including the guys) and it seems that Joey and Ayiiia are the only one's that are up front, you know exactly where they stand and you can like them or not, I respect that. I thought the guys walking out on the girls while they were getting dressed (with no warning) was messed up, so I understood the girls being pissed off at the guys about it and the other passive aggressive stuff they were doing. On the other hand I was kind of feeling Derek when he was talking about the girls yelling just to hear themselves, I'm not a big yeller, it seems so counter productive especially when it's unintelligible. . .but then again there's a reason why I'm not (and have no desire to be) on reality tv haha. Yeah probably all more editing magic, but I'm not going to attempt to fill in the blanks with speculation and conjecture.

The HD thing looks great if you have a good HD TV. I personally watch the show in HD on my computer hooked up to my HD TV and it looks fantastic.
Did they say it was only going to HD on the site? Sorry, I'm just really annoyed lol. It looks fake.
It will be HD on your TV as long as you have an HDTV, an HD Tuner, and are watching the MTVHD station.
When you watch it online does it have a letterbox (the black lines on the top and the bottom)? That often gives it a more cinematic look.
The other thing that I can think of is that your tv may be playing it back interlaced where as your computer may be playing it back progressive which would also give it a more cinematic look.
Wow, Ayiiia, that was a low blow.
I'm adopted and someone has said that to me before, thats ****ed up.
I don't get it. It was perfectly acceptable for Emilee to tell Aiiya that nobody likes her, but it was a low blow to tell Emilee that she's adopted. . . ok. I think Emilee's comment was just as bad as Aiiya's and it frustrates me that nobody was bothered by it.
