No LC, I agree with you.
On Brooklyn, I didn't agree with the disliking the guys (I was on their side) but I see where it stemmed from. Like I said before, when I hang out with someone, I want to laugh, and the Brooklyn guys made me laugh. Even JD made me laugh.
I don't think we have seen enough of the Cancun guys to even judge them at this point (maybe Joey). And as I said before, they make me laugh. Its only the third episode though, and I don't get where all the hate is coming from.
That being said, I do enjoy every single person on the cast, and I only enjoyed the guys + Baya on Brooklyn.
And Dart, that was really touching post.
Okay, these my initial reations upon watching the episodes. I know im late to the party, and im gonna go back and ready what everyone posted so if in my next post i change my view on something, sorry. lol. Its my posting style, i post first, then read and react.
I know we have some of the Cancun cast members here so ill try to be nice. and don't take it too personal, im really judging the characters MTV edited you into. I do get that.
I love Bronne. He is my fave cast member of this season. Hes so funny and chill. I loved him passed out at the bottom of the stairs and him going to the gay club and dancing was legit. I actually like all of the men this season, a lot.
That brings me to the girls... ugh.
Jonna, i really like. Im really interested to see more of her.
Jasmine, i really dont feel we have got to see her at all. Except that little fight she had with Ayiia.
Then there is Ayiia and Emilee. They didnt seem willing to take responsibility for what they did. Instead they blame the other, or even other people. They actually act a lot of alike, and perhaps thats why they clicked so well and clashed so hard. I really hope to see more layers to them, because as of right now i cant stand them.
The only other cast member im not sure if i like or not is Joey. Something about him i find very offputting, but im not sure what.
Okay. Time for a real post from me. I really, really love Ayiiia because I am going through the same thing she is constantly feeling.
I have never had anyone tell me how they cared about me or appreciated me, when I have done sooo much for soooo many people, and I have been screwed by every family member, or friend I have ever found. I am an incredibly strong person, but I have a big wall/guard. I met someone special a few weeks ago, only for them to throw it right back, and this is the straw that broke the camel's back.
Like, the constant feeling of nobody truly appreciating or being there for me when I have let my guard down, has been eating at me lately and today I broke. Like, therapy hasn't even worked for me. This constant feeling has began to change who I am almost, and I hate that because I know who I am, but I feel like I am changing unwillingly, and without a cause.
This past episode, Ayiiia touched me in her confessionals, because I feel like I am so real, and that I am just so good to people, but I am hurt in the end. I felt like I could connect to her on a level that I have yet to connect with a cast member for, for many seasons. I appreciate it Ayiiia.
Dart, you and Ayiiia remind me a lot of me a few years ago...All I have ever done in life is give to and take care of others, from a very young age and I feel like no one has ever returned the favor when I needed it, but you know what...I feel better about myself for all I do and if anything, at least I know that I can always count on myself and not let anyone bring me down. I once considered not helping people out anymore, but then I would be unhappy myself feeling guilty for not helping where I could. I always have up a guard but at the same time it isn't hard to break through it...I see it like this...Karma is a ***** if you are a *****, but it can also be a blessing if you spread good Karma. When people do me wrong I simply feel sorry for them, because it is just like the old saying goes...what goes around, comes around and I will not allow anyone else's stupidty break me or make me question why I do the things I do.
You are a great guy D...Don't let them break you :D
I also think that seeing herself on TV is going to be a great learning experience for Ayiiia. I am sure it has already helped in a lot of ways.

Yeah. I thank you for that SD. I try to look at it that way, but sometimes I just wonder, when will someone do for me what I do for them? Even if only once, I just wish it would happen already. But thanks SD.
I think it will be a learning experience for her as well, and hopefully she continues to grow from it.
As much as I would want ot be on this show, it is episodes like last night that remind me why it would suck. These are arguments you had with your friends months ago that are now being broadcast to the entire country, and although you've resolved and moved past it, everyone feels the need to comment and put in their two-cents as if it is happening right now.
Think about the last time you got in a fight with one of your best friends and said some really regretful things.. and now imagine that strangers around the country are putting in their opinion and judging you without knowing you or seeing the whole story... months later.
I know they signed up for this, and I know this is a forum designed for this type of discussion.. I'm just saying I can't imagine what it must feel like for them. It's really true that unless you've been in the situation you haven't got a clue.
HFACE you made some EXCELLENT points. It's human nature to talk about others sometimes (good or bad), but it's not natural for those things to pop up in public months later for everyone to scrutinize, even I need to work on keeping that in mind...
Agree with LC on her points regarding Ayiiia. Thank you Dartagnan and Stacee for sharing some of your experiences. I think Ayiiia is the realest real worlder we had in awhile.
No offense to Derek, but I'm beginning to think that he was the catalyst for all of the drama that has occurred between Jonna and the other girls. If you refer back to last weeks episode it is possible to reason that Jonna began separating herself from the other girls based on a few things that Derek might have told her. On the dailies site, it shows Jasmine, Emilee, and Ayiiia talking in the confessional about Jonna, but it is possible that Derek was outside the confessional listening. Afterwards, he probably ran back to Jonna and spilled the beans about what the other girls said. This gossip thus fueled the fire and created more drama between the girls.

Normally when you start a comment with "no offense", it's going to be taken offensively by someone. Keep in mind, he is a member here as is most of the cast.
Secondly, we see 42 minutes once a week. Derek and all of the others saw 24-7 for three months (or however long it took them to film). If a cast member tells you how something went, it can generally be taken to the bank. You've heard what he has to say.
I won't believe it unless I see video evidence that disproves my claims.
Fake situations...
Either way, they are all good friends.
Are you creating fake situations in your head or do you really have it out for Derek?
I see no evidence of Derek doing anything.
In general, I believe that most of the cast members are only providing the details that will make them look good. Every story has two sides and there is probably more to the story than what the cast is disclosing. On a side note, I'm highly skeptical of people who make claims about being uninvolved yet act passive aggressive and degrade others who they claimed to be uninterested in. These are the very people who are considered the "nice" ones, but emerge as turncoats. Ugh, I can't stand people who act this way.

Yeah, well they don't owe anything to you, or anyone here in general.
"Every story has two sides." Yet, you weren't there.
We haven't seen that much of Derek make him out to be this big bad person.
I won't believe it unless I see video evidence that disproves my claims.
In addition, for all we know, the cast could have acted one way on camera and switched up their personalities once the cameras were turned off. The nice ones could very well have been the ones who stirred the pot the most in the house. I guess we will never know....
I also think its hilarious that everyone loves Ayiiia but hates the other "Real World Villians" like JD, Trisha, etc.
If they had come here and explained themselves, it would be different. Its easy to judge when you don't know the other side of the story.
I've always been torn on this...yes, we get to hear both sides of the story, but I think users often stifle themselves a bit too, knowing that certain cast members are lurking.
*edit* I do think that Ayiiia is more likable than Trisha or JD though! In all honesty. Trisha and JD....ughhhh
I'm a fairly new member so I'm gonna need some clarification. It seems like whenever people say anything negative about cast members they're reminded that most of the cast members are members here and so they need to...what exactly? Not say anything? Not form an opinion based on what MTV shows us? Keep it sweet all the time? What exactly are the rules with regard to posting since members of the cast will read it and clearly we shouldn't upset them because they may not come back?

And also, for all we know they're really just evil aliens, pretending to be humans so we will like them and be entertained, but really they're just going to take over the world and kill us all. That's what I think and until someone gives me video evidence to the contrary it MUST be true.

Everyone is free to form an opinion and comment on what they see. Insults, slurs, name-calling, making up stories etc. is not acceptable behavior towards any forum member, not just cast. Welcome to Vevmo. :)

I'm not making up anything. I'm simply providing a possible explanation for all of the drama surrounding Jonna and the other girls. It's just a theory that may or may not have played a part in the drama.

Good points. I think that it is completely okay to not like a certain cast member, and as long as your discussion and opinions are shared respectfully with factual reasons (stuff that happened in episodes, appearances, etc) to back up your opinion. There are certain Real Worlders who I dislike and I don't really have any reasoning besides what I call "the bore factor". As long as its respectful, I think just about everything goes. Rule of thumb I have taught myself to use because I was new a few months ago is this : Share and discuss while remaining on topic, and avoid coming off as a "personal attack" while voicing your what is on your mind. Can't say that I followed the rules first starting out, but it takes a few weeks to get the hang of things and members. I am sure a moderator can give you a better response.
Gosh, I just realized I have over 400 posts and I have only been a member since April. Love me some Vevmo.

No, your making a fake situation or just a simple excuse to ***** about Derek.
@davitt. People are allowed to express their opinions about cast members in a respectful way. I don not like Joey but if I do not say something disrespectful about him then it will not be brought up that is a member here. In the case of HonestHenry he was making claims that have no base or truth. This is a discussion/spoiler&speculation forum not a fan fiction board.
I personally think that Ayiiia, Jasmine, and Emilee should be given all of the airtime. They are the most interesting people in the house. The others are really boring.
I personally think that Ayiiia, Jasmine, and Emilee should be given all of the airtime. They are the most interesting people in the house. The others are really boring.
I don't think the others are boring. Bronne, CJ, Derek and Jonna are very interesting IMO. I couldn't imagine how the show would be with just Ayiiia, Emilee and Jasmine...
HonestHenry, Ayiiia, Emilee and Jasmine are my favs too but everyone deserves equal airtime. I do not think that the rest of the cast are boring. Bronne is hilarious and Joey is good for drama. Derrick and Jonna add to the show as well I would appreciate it if you would stop saying offensive things about the cast. It is just disrespectful.
For clarification, the others aren't boring as in having boring personalities, but they aren't as dramatic as Emilee, Jasmine, Ayiiia. Yeah, Joey had his moment, but I want to see more drama from him and the rest of the guys. The whole guys getting along thing is fine, but it doesn't make good television.
So when I said boring I meant lacking in drama.

Did you watch last week? Joey proved he is GREAT drama!
