He's definitely not the only one.
Nope definitely not the only one! Bring Jonny Mosely or Dave Mirra back please if you insist on sticking with extreme sports athletes. Anyone but TJ. I'd almost rather have no host at all and just have a voiceover that explains the challenge and results to the viewers at home. It would be just as interactive with the cast as TJ is.

I looked on my DVR tonight and not only is the Fresh Meat 2 Finale tonight, but the reunion is on too. MTV doesn't promote this snow anymore at all! It sucks and I don't care what people say, FM2 has been pretty good.
OMG really!!!!! I didn't even know until you said it! Now have to call the bro to DVR! It's like MTV really did give up on this show.....I still have a little faith it's going to be re-newed.
I didn't know about the reunion until right now either... is it even worth DVRing?
I didn't know about the reunion until right now either... is it even worth DVRing?
I went to the reunion and I would say yeah it is worth it. There was a lot to talk about.
[strike]does anyone know anything about the current challenge being taped? possible location? cast?[/strike] Does anyone know anything about the current challenge being taped? Possible location? Cast?
does anyone know anything about the current challenge being taped? possible location? cast?
There is a whole thread dedicated to that. It has the cast in it.

Yeah if they show half of the good stuff they got at the reunion it will be great. I'm really excited to see what of the 4 4 1/2 hours they're going to put on.

Am I mistaken in thinking that there was a reunion where the whole cast was in attendance?
Am I mistaken in thinking that there was a reunion where the whole cast was in attendance?
Yes. They usually only invite the people who made it far or were part of major drama.
I know I could've swore there was one reunion though where the whole entire cast was there and a lot of people barely talked.
Why is Darrell not thrown into the Top Tier of competitors? To me he is easily in the all-time top 4 with CT, Landon & Alton.
Darrell has won 4 challenges but he has never been a break out competitor like CT. He has never shown better capabilities then guys on the challenges he's been on. I say he made it to the end and won 4 challenges because of a good social game and a above average, yet not elite, competitive ability.
I would have to disagree with you there faceless, although I agree that Darrell did win his four by a good social game, I think he is superior to most of the other males who are casted on these shows. I mean besides the top three ( Alton, Landon, CT. in no particular order) i cant think of anyone else who would absolutely dominate Darrell.
Darrel did it by flying under the radar, and staying out drama..which backfired on FM2
Darell doesn't play under the radar. He just doesn't give people a reason to put him on theirs. He plays smart, does well in competitions and has always been known for having good stanima. I wouldn't say he's an Alton, but he plays the game well enough to be considered one of the best players.
I think Wes, Landon, Evan, and CT are the top four all time in no order. first post!
Alton > Wes I never thought Wes was in the same class as the upper echelon guys to begin with, but you want to know something? Last night when he said he quit because they were losing in their Exile... that even knocked him down a few more pegs in comparison to those guys as competitors because there is no way guys like Landon, CT, Evan, or Alton would simply roll over and quit in a do or die situation.
I think Wes, Landon, Evan, and CT are the top four all time in no order. first post!
I cant help myself but laugh when I see this. Not only would Wes get crushed by any one of the top 4 big dogs, he would get crushed by most of the males on these shows.
I usually try to avoid these "So and so is better than so and so" debates because they happen so often on here... but... I'm a big fan of Wes, and even I don't think there's any way he could be considered in the top 4 male competitors, physically. I think he has definitely lost a few steps since his debut in Fresh Meat 1. He was much stronger and fitter back then, than he showed in FM2. However, even back then he didn't measure up in terms of physical strength to CT, Evan, Alton and quite a few others. Just not even close.

In my opinion, Wes = Evan. Neither is that great. Alton, Ct, even Darrell I can understand. But Evan? I dont know about all that...
Flipping the discussion a bit... I thinK Darrell has to be considered among the top 1-2 Challenge competitors of all time (my definition of competitor being what place you earned on each challenge, number of wins/runner-ups etc, as a result of athletic OR social game played). He is 4 for 6 in wins, which is really an incredible win %. He had one bad season, FM II, and was DQ'd essentially 1 episode before the final mission in The Ruins. Had he not been, he would have likely eliminated Dunbar and been on the winning team. By that definition, Kenny is an incredibly strong player as well (3 for 7 in wins, runner-up on FM I, Gauntlet III, FM II). He has ONLY had 1 bad season in 7 tries, The Duel.
Wes and Evan are not equals... Evan is much bigger, stronger, and a better all-around athlete than Wes is. You would think the fact that Wes scrambled and schemed like crazy to do anything in his power to avoid facing Evan and CT on the first Duel would be proof enough to people that even WES HIMSELF doesn't believe he could beat either of those two guys. Evan said repeatedly on that season that the only thing standing between him and the money that season was CT, and he was absolutely right.

Evan said repeatedly on that season that the only thing standing between him and the money that season was CT, and he was absolutely right.
Well Wes came up with the plan to have Evan face CT in the Duel. Wes played the Duel really well, and deserved his spot in the final. In Wes' position, I would not want to fight Evan, or especially CT either. I don't think he would necessarily lose to either of them, but they had a higher chance of taking him out than Brad. If the challenges were just based on stength, CT would probably be the strongest. But he makes to many political/ soical mistakes that his strength can't always make up for it. I think Wes has also moved into this category, although he wasn't always there. Overall, I think the strongest competitors are Landon, Darrell and Alton. However, I think Alton is slightly overrated on the shows. There are some challenges on the Inferno 3 where he didn't perform so well because he team expected him to do amazing in really difficult situations. In terms of playing this game politically, I think Kenny does very well. I really think Kenny is the male equivlent of Coral. They play a strong political game, but usually are just average competitors until it is necessary that they step up their game, which they usually can do. Just thinking about Coral is making me hope that she comes back. I miss her on the challenges!
What do you mean you don't think Wes would necessarily lose to either Evan or CT in a fight? Wes would not last 10 seconds in a fight with CT, the guy practically got knocked out by barely bumping his head on a flimsy aluminum overhang thing on a stove.
Oops, I didn't mean fight, I meant elimination round. Yea, I agree that CT could take either of them in a fight.
Lol then everyone could make fun of Coral the way she made fun of Beth on G3 for being "40 years old"! I'd like to see Nehemiah back on a Challenge. I respect the way he identified the strongest player in Duel 2 (Evan) and went after him directly. He was about 1 second away from beating him too. I think he brings strong leadership to any group of contestants not normally considered the "in" crowd.
[strike]are you kidding me, evan could be obnoxius and a jerk but he is way better than wes, in fresh meat 1, evan and coral won 5 missions, then in the duel 1 evan was the most dominant player winning 5 missions in a row. In the gauntlet 3, CT and evan were the strongest players of the veterans, remember when he carried big easy in his back in the final mission. In the duel 2, evan won 2 missions, he won three eliminations round and he won the final mission. Then he won in the ruins. Evan has won 2 challenges the duel 2 and the ruins, and he is 4 - 1 in eliminations rounds.[/strike] Are you kidding me? Evan could be obnoxious and a jerk but he is way better than Wes.
