BMP/MTV ran out of idea's years ago.
Well you do have a point.
All of the Sequels that they've been doing for several years now is a proof of that.
Exactly!
They tried something NEW with the Island, which bombed! and The Ruins was basically BOTS with an "inner circle" who controls the fate of which people go in The Ruins (instead of just voting people off- one guy and one girl)
Duel was pretty damn good idea though.
It was a somewhat original idea. I am not denying that, but it's also a very simplistic, school yard picking idea.
But to be fair, the concept was "original"

Ya but each sequel has a new idea each time. The three gauntlets were completely different. The first 2 infernos had different teams. The Bots seasons were different too. Also, the duel seasons were different in that in the first the players had to pick on the spot (which made the challenge more unpredictable, unlike the 2nd where the pick order was pretty much undetermined) and the 2 winners had to come to an agreement for their first pick.
I don't think TJ really adds to or takes away from the show. We see him about 3 min total during the entire 47 minutes. Sure he is monotone and he sometimes chimes in when not needed but so what? Everyone acts like with Mark as host, there will be more/better drama, the competition will be better, the people will all around be better. No, because we will see him for 3 minutes.
I noticed Evelyn's record is 3:3.
Wouldn't it be 5:3
She won the gauntlet against Casey, 2 face-offs on the island, and 2 exiles on fresh meat 2.
Island face-offs were excluded from the tally.
I think the only thing that they've run out of is ideas for teams. They've done Rookies vs. Veterans, Champions vs. Challengers, Boys vs. Girls, Bad ***** vs. Good Guys, Road Rules vs. Real World. I mean think about it, there is really nothing else.

Sure there is...I mean, it doesn't necessarily mean that the teams will be "even", but there are lots of different ways they haven't done yet.
Oh yeah they could divide by race, or any type of cliche they wanted. Divide by athletics, hair color, single people vs. Married., weight. There are a lot of things.
My favorite elimination round was Back Off from The Duel II.
Who would most likely win in the following match ups?
Kenny Vs. Johnny
Ev Vs. Rachael R.
Darell Vs. Brad
Diem Vs. Paula
Laurel Vs. Jodi
CT vs. Frank (Vegas)
Kenny vs Johnny= I think Johnny could beat Kenny to be honest. I feel like individually Kenny is not strong and after seeing Johnny beat Dunbar I feel like he could beat Kenny easily. Kenny is not that physically strong IMO and would lose to mostly anyone in a physical elimination.
Ev vs Rachel= I think Ev could beat her. No offense to Rachel but I feel she is over rated. I know she won the Duel 2 and a lot of the challenges but I have never seen her in a 1 on 1 match up. I feel she wouldn't be easy to beat but I think Ev could take her out in any mental or physical competition. I don't care that Rachel is taller. Height doesn't always mean your better.
Darrel vs Brad= Definitely Darrel. Brade is a great guy but hes not good at eliminations. He never seems to confident and doesn't always do to well. Darrel is a beast and has proved it many times.
Diem vs Paula= I'll give it to Paula on this one. I don't know if she is stronger than Diem but with Diem cracking under pressure a lot, I feel Paula could take her out.
Laurel vs Jodi= Laurel would demoralize Jodi in an elimination. I don't get why people think she is the top player. Yea she won the Duel but still. I am not saying she is a bad player but definitely not like the strongest. She has been in one elimination where she lost miserably. She cracks under pressure, is not that confident, cries a lot, gets attached to guys easily. Shes not my ideal player. Laurel seems very confident and a good competitor too all around. She would take Jodi the hell out.
Ct vs Frank= this would be a good elimination. Both are pretty strong in their own ways. It is like Brains vs Brawns. It would really depend on what the elimination is with these 2. If it is physical I will give it to CT and if it is mental I will give it to Frank. All around though, I will give this one to CT, as long as he doesn't DQ lol.
[strike]i dont share the same thoughts on brad he hasnt lost an elimination round since G2 he beat people on D1 D2 and ya never know about the Ruins if he would of had that rope wrestle elimination that dunbar lost to Johnny like if he hadnt of gotten kicked out for fighting he prob would of beat johnny if he went in[/strike]
I don't share the same thoughts on Brad. He hasn't lost an elimination round since G2. He beat people on D1 and D2 and you never know about the Ruins. If he hadn't gotten kicked out for fighting and would have been in that rope wrestle elimination instead of Dunbar, he probably would have beaten Johnny if he went in.
TSPKM....that? Is a terrible idea. Just saying... [strike]**XOXO ~OtherPplsDrama~ XOXO**[/strike]
I agree that a division of teams on those terms would be disgusting.
[strike]JH2Ns<3[/strike]
I was just saying that there are several ways to divide the teams up....but really it doesnt matter, whatever they decide to do people will complain that its a bad idea anyway so they might as well stick with vets and rookies its the easiest.
Oh yeah they could divide by race, or any type of cliche they wanted. Divide by athletics, hair color, single people vs. Married., weight. There are a lot of things.
I kind of like the Inferno method: good guys vs. bad *****.
Also, they could do ugly vs. beautiful. or smart vs. dumb, etc.

Yeah Inferno 4, Smart guys vs Dumb *****
During the challenges are filming, do they do a challenge and elimination every week? Or certain amout of days?
Not sure if its changed but typically it's
Sunday Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Friday Saturday
Interview/ mission/ mission /Interview/ mission/ mission /day off (no cameras)

That was when there were 15 challenges each season. Now with there only being 9 challenges per season they do it probably like this
Sunday- Interviews
Monday- Mission/ Deliberation
Tuesday- Elimination
Wednesday- Interviews
Thursday- Mission/ Deliberation
Friday- Elimination
Saturday- Free time
I don't know the exact days to be honest but this is just an example because since the Duel 2 season they have had the eliminations the next day after the actual mission.
