I think that if they're not going to release them on DVD the least they can do is put them online. like make a big Youtube channel strictly of all things Real World/Road Rules and Put the Challenges on there(And also Real World and Road Rules seasons too).
So....what are the odds of the Challenges being cancelled?
The odds are that no one posting at vevmo is competent to compute those odds.
I love these shows and I want them to continue but one thing I think they need to work on is the challenges themselves. I'm a hardcore fan of the show but all of these timed water challenges are really getting tiring. Tonight's challenge was stupid with the hose thing. They need to get back to the drag out, knock down challenges that made people fall in love with this show. Let';s get physical, people should be wrestling, going up in head to head races, throwing each other around. The old days when Derrick was going mad dog on people was great. They put together an amazing cast this season but they aren't doing as much as they could with it. All these guys should be getting tested, you got freaking CT, let him lose. that stuff is exciting.
So....what are the odds of the Challenges being cancelled?
With the possible outcomes of they will be cancelled or they won't be cancelled, the odds are 50/50 just like flipping a coin (heads or tails). The probability, on the other hand.....

The probability, on the other hand.....
Agree: There are simply too many important variables and unknowns that probable outcomes would contain significant inherent design errors.
At least put them on iTunes! They put the Gauntlet 2 on iTunes, why not Inferno 2? Battle of the sexes?..etc. I would buy them. Yeah some of the older seasons are online but it isn't TV quality.
If I'm not mistaken, Gauntlet 2 is on itunes because it was the first challenge to be put on itunes. It wasn't added later on or anything. It's been there since 2005 or whenever that season aired.
YO, is it true that last episode had 2,4 millions? Or I'm just dreaming?
YO, is it true that last episode had 2,4 millions? Or I'm just dreaming?
YO, until the ratings have been posted, we don't know.

Yeah, so huge!! AHAHAH Goodbye Challenge? It sure looks like it!

I've never been able to find the first 4 or BOTS2, but the rest are in the ethers if you know where to look...

Cable is hard to get ratings on.
Yeah, so huge!! AHAHAH Goodbye Challenge? It sure looks like it!
I would think they would, at worst, be more likely to give it a season by season extension until they know for sure what is going to happen with Jersey Shore. Isn't this maybe that show's last season on its contract too? May just be me, but it seems like they have picked up the pace of new Real World and Challenges to the point that both are suffering. I usually expect the Challenges to come in between 1.6 and 1.9 on average so this is nothing off the charts bad.

Who knows if that's enough to get it renewed though.

I expected a ratings drop. Even though the girl elimination days have been rated higher this last episode didn't bring a lot of action. Also the challenge itself was really weak IMO. Watching them spray each other with a hose for 10 minutes isn't that entertaining. I hope next weeks go way up though because that challenge is going to be insane.

I bet doing the Challenges in 3D would really boost ratings (as well as the gross factor of projectile vomiting) :new_shocked: People shouldn't freak out on week to week ratings fluctuations. It happens on all shows for a bunch of different reasons.
I bet doing the Challenges in 3D would really boost ratings (as well as the gross factor of projectile vomiting) :new_shocked:
I would definitely stop watching. I'm not a fan of 3D whatsoever.
Imagine CT charging at you in 3D, scary stuff..
I would definitely stop watching. I'm not a fan of 3D whatsoever.
That's because you air way too cool for the glasses--maybe Oakley should start making some 3D shades (and I hate 3-D too)
I hope the ratings were good last night. That was the best episode of the season for me. I was crazy, it was even edited differently.
1.3 adults 18-49 rating and 2.057 million viewers. Pretty good.
and that's not good enough to get a renewal? :(
and that's not good enough to get a renewal? :(
Exactly. Maybe they're waiting on the next couple of episodes as well.
1.3 adults 18-49 rating and 2.057 million viewers. Pretty good.
18-34 is far more important to MTV . TVbythenumbers.com rarely reports 18-34 unless it has come out in an MTV press release.
1.3 man.. was hoping for a 1.4 and possibly 1.5 I hope these ratings are enough. The show has been around for so long and I am sure a lot of people depending on working on these shows. Maybe MTV will take that into consideration. I feel like with Twitter, the podcast, and the latest season of Real World, the buzz is growing for shows like this. The cast is really accessible now and people can get a lot of inside info.

Remember, 1.3 is only for the 18-49 group and not 18-34 and over 2 million people watched the episode. I don't know what MTV's looking for, but if they were expecting some kind of miracle leap in ratings, then we could have deduced by now that the show was practically canceled before the season even started.
