Listening to Derrick's new pod...he said the road rules team that was put together after Sydney left would have been him, Darrell, Rachel, and Katie. That team would have destroyed everyone.
Wow, that would have been amazing
Although if they were sent into a "mental" elimination round they may have been screwed.
I wonder if they would have been willing to work with Austin. I think Darrell hates Wes from The Ruins and Fresh Meat 2

True Derrick and Katie aren't the brightest bulbs. I think they would have had to work with Austin given the situation, and they have all been on challenges with Sarah so they probably would have been aligned with Brooklyn anyway. He didn't say why the team fell through, probably because they realized that team would be too stacked. It's also interesting that those 4 are all still willing to drop everything in their lives still to do a challenge.

Katie won the Inferno for her team by solving a puzzle, I think she would've been fine. That Road Rules team would've easily been one of the top teams and I am sure they would've aligned with Vegas as well. I really can't see the RR team being targeting too bad though, they would've been seen as a good team and if Cancun and San Diego are willing to align with NOLA, I am sure they would've been smart enough to get the RR team on board with them. If not, they would've been idiots.
And the reason they couldn't get this team is probably because they weren't all willing to drop everything. Just because they were the targeted four to get doesn't mean they all accepted. I know Derrick's wife doesn't want him doing challenges anymore, and Katie has said she isn't interested in anymore challenges after Cut Throat (not really reliable).
Derrick, Darrel, Rachel, and Katie would've had the strongest team, physically, and also the smartest when it comes to playing the game. Their only downfall would've been if the rookies actually did target them instead of aligning themselves with them.
A Road Rules team would have been interesting to see politically. My guess is that they would have aligned themselves with San Diego because Derrick and Zach seem to be friends while Derrick and Darrell are not fans of Wes.
Derrick is a TERRIBLE host, I like the kid a lot but hosting isn't his calling. However his podcast do give the best behind the scenes info.
Truth. His last 2 have been better, but usually it just is like Derrick comes in with a bunch of questions he wants to ask, and it takes the guests 10 minutes to answer the question and they don't even really answer it because Derrick always goes off on tangents.
Weird, I just finished listening to Derrick's podcasts. I will be tuning in every week, reminds me of the fishbowl days. I feel so old.
I used to LOVE the fishbowl!!!! The fishbowl recaps of Real World: Philly were more exciting than the actual season!
I know this is random but if you had to put together a soundtrack of songs for mtv the challenge, what songs would you guys pick?
Here of some of my top choice songs
Undefeated by Def Leppard
Another bites the dust by Queen
This was pretty amusing...

The Mark Long doll got pretty annoying after a while, hhaha.
The rest were pretty funny, especially Jemmye.
Hmm, I actually don't remember Nany ever being such a drunk though, hehe.
Did anyone see this?
Is it just me or do these games seem so much easier to manipulate with an alliance. Or is this alliance just better planned and followed?
Probably a combination of both.
Probably a combination of both.
It just makes the challenges far less interesting to watch when theres so little competing and you already know the outcome. It doesn't look like it can last much longer though so hopefully we'll see some genuine competition soon.

I think that if Fresh Meat loses next week(and If there is a God they will) Then the game will get Interesting.

I hope you're right but I think the only way things will get interesting is if Brooklyn wins a mission and SD, Vegas or Cancun finish last. Even with a trivia mission I'm not sure that happens.
This season would have been much better if NOLA & St Thomas were the first two out because then we would have seen legit lines with 2 solid alliances: Austin, FM & Brooklyn vs. Vegas, SD2 and Cancun. If Fresh Meat leaves it will basically be 5 on 1

Main problem here is nobody could stand Big Easy and Wes. They saw Big E as the one who couldnt even f**** climb and with him your chances of winning something are very slim. Wes was seeing as a guy who you should not trust. With Trey in the group they were public enemy 1,2 and 3.

Not quite. Assuming Brooklyn doesn't get last, they won't really be throwing their own alliance under the bus. If Brooklyn gets last, that is when it gets interesting.
The Camila one was too much like Rachel or is it just me?
I actually thought the Emily one was too similar to Rachel. Fitness talk and the wig looked like a short black bob cut? Since when does Emily have that hairstyle?
