Every elimination is a risk...even if you'd win it 999 times out of a 1000
Usually they're risky, but this season with every elimination favoring the bigger/more muscular person, Laurel's size advantage over the other girls will get her through any elimination. No chance she loses to anyone. Not a single one. There are no puzzles, no strategy, no endurance, no speed... just who's bigger.

The wall climb requires strategy. You just can't punch and kick holes wherever, you need to know where to punch them so you can get a larger climb. That's how Frank smoked Zito.

Smoked? He won by like half a second

Watch it again and watch how far Frank was up on Dustin before they switched to be scene of Frank hitting the bell. Editing makes a lot of things appear different than what actually happened.
That hairline lowering surgery though. I would definitely get some work done on my head ASAP if I was going bald.

I think Johnny R falls in that category. He has that awkward pointed tip at the top of his head. I wonder what he'd look like with a full head of hair to cover that up and then maybe I'd see what Averey saw in him.

The idea of hair plugs is scary...I don't ever think that plastic surgery is the answer to any insecurity you might have. Cosmetic surgery almost always looks off.
My overall opinion of this episode:
I was definitely disappointed in Devyns move to put in theresa but she put herself in a good spot IMO. It would be dumb of theresa to go after devyn before laurel. She is most likely fly under the radar as long as she doesn't pull the kill card.
I was confused with ppls perception of swift this episode. It seemed everyone saw him weird and apparently he boasted that he was the strongest player there but I didn't see anything prior to this episode that justified those claims unless I missed something. I don't see him as a bad competitor and wouldn't mind seeing him on another challenge.
I was surprised camila kind of just rolled over in that elimination. It seemed like she didn't want to be there anymore or something. Also was there a rope to hold onto in the Cara vs Nia elimination cuz I don't remember it?
He's being smart though. He's trying not to make enemies with his commentary in case he does want to come back.
Well no to him and Tori...

Tell that to Mathew Mcconaughey who's basically swimming in female juices thanks to his much fuller hairline.
Having a 5head is never a good look.
As a female: if you are going bald I find you more attractive if you just deal with it because hair plugs are usually obvious/look bad. Shaved heads can look good or fine and depending on the type of baldness, just leaving it can be fine as well (like Woody Harrelson).
In a desperate attempt to make this not 100 percent off topic... um... I laughed for a full minute at 'Mahatma Ghandi' and 'Dutch'/'What's a continent' were a distant second/third.
Someone please watch the Free For All thing with Zach Jordan and Devyn and let me know if it's worth watching Jordan and Zach pretend to like each other.
Well, Jordan is in it, so you be the judge. Devyn and Zach are entertaining, but unless you can mute Jordan, it's really hard to sit through. I honestly can't understand what Laurel sees in him. Sure, he's as competitive as her, but that's about it. He's not smart, he doesn't have a nice personality. Not that she's coming off very nice this season, but I thought she had higher standards.
Okay, were some of these people serious? Did Cara really not know that the answer was North America? Isn't she supposed to be one of the smart ones? Some of these questions only required an elementary school education. Instead of trivia, they should have labelled this the Are you Smarter than a Fifth Grader challenge.
It was kind of embarrassing to watch. I thought most of these people had college degrees, while those questions were ridiculously easy, elementary school level top. TJ doesn't look as the sharpest tool in the box, but even he was seemingly surprised with how dumb these people are.
Jordan/Swift elimination was weak and why is Jordan so hyped about beating Swift, The only guy left that's worst than Swift is Preston.
I don't understand the constant bashing of Preston. He is obviously smaller and doesn't have strength, but he's fast and flexible. He's also been performing consistently well this season. Give him some credit!
The idea of hair plugs is scary...I don't ever think that plastic surgery is the answer to any insecurity you might have. Cosmetic surgery almost always looks off.
I agree that getting cosmetic surgery is just a sign of deeper insecurities that probably won't be resolved that way. Unless it's really necessary (like in case of people with serious deformities or after an accident), it's just shallow. And lazy. That goes for **** jobs, nose jobs, liposuctions and hair plugs. We are not supposed to be perfect. Embracing your body with all of your imperfections is much more attractive than getting surgery to fit some mold. Especially for a man! I once dated a guy who had had hair transplant and it's creepy. If you're going bald, own it.

I have a friend who had a hair transplant and you can hardly tell he had one by the way he combs his hair. He was born with a huge forehead though so even if he shaved his head you can tell that his forehead was humongous by how far back his hairline was. His hair looks a lot better now, but he needed 2 surgeries to perfect it. The bald look doesn't suit everyone. I mean just google "hair transplant celebrity" and you'll see they look a lot better now. But that's just my opinion idk, this is off topic as all hell.
Speaking of hairlines, Aneesa is 5head central.
Average episode imo.
-Glad to see Theresa realized her mistake and should have just said Laurel to not make as many waves as she did.
-I never watched RW Explosion (Don't really watch RW), but I heard they broke the 4th wall. This is the 3rd time this season that I can remember with that wall being torn down. CT asking for the waiver to let him punch Jordan is so blatant. Bananas yelling to Jordan that he has a higher pay grade and has done way more on these shows as well as the producer trying to calm CT down at the bar has been in this season more than I can remember in past challenges.
-Man, you guys were ragging on these guys. Sure some of these questions are simple, but not everyone has general geography, spelling, or pop culture knowledge as you. The only really stupid answer was the North America one. There really could have been some slight rigging on this one. Some of the questions were very easy, some were average, and some where pretty **** hard. Camilla got pretty jypt. She had to go first. I have no idea what the longest bone in my body is (my **** ahahhaha), and the capital of California is pretty hard for someone to answer who's not from America. TJ was really good.
-Swift had so much air time. Obvious he was going in, that was solidified when they showed Swift/Bananas in the after show preview and had the elimination in the background.
-Good for Devyn, nice to see her have a standout performance (first ever?) even if it isn't physical.
-Brilliant move by Laurel. I'm sure she's confident going in against anyone, but better for her not to risk it. She is heads above everyone, she can just show that list to everyone, to keep her name out of their mouth. Pretty sure everyone else could still band together because she can only go after one person at a time, but still. I'm sure that intimidation factor of being there face to face is a lot more than whatever I'm thinking behind this computer screen.
-Zach had Swift, Bananas, Cahutta, and Prestont pick from. Could have made a power move and go for Bananas vs CT/Jordan/Leroy, but I guess Zach doesn't want to make too many waves at this point. Swift safest choice for sure. Maybe Cahutta too. At this point I have zero idea who Cahutta has aligned himself with. Man, Jessica/Devyn/Preston are going to make it to the end of the challenge because people just want to keep them there for the final or remaining eliminations. They simply aren't scary. They're in a pretty good spot from the way this challenge is run.
-Wonder if CTs system has to do with wood spots on the cards. I would have enjoyed watching CT crush one of these competitions against a weaker player to have another backpack type performance.
-**** they really changed this challenge up this time. First Chet got screwed by the helmet (probably would have lost anyway), now Cara/Nia got screwed by this challenge too. Padding on the harness. Barrels are way more in the middle and have less of an angle to go against. Rope by the bell to incorporate upper body strength. Still think it was fair though, Jordan just got there faster. Poor Camilla, tough to see her like that, but as people were saying maybe her head wasn't in the game. MTV/BMP probably don't want more people going to the hospital/losing their arm movements for a couple days. Swift was a very likeable dude this season, wouldn't hate it if he came back.
-Rolling saran wrap mission looks pretty tough and hilarious at the same time. Looking forward to it.
-Brad's nodding head was very creepy the first couple times they showed him lol. Hope he comes back for more.

I honestly hope you're joking. The reason it's called generL knowledge is because it doesn't require a PhD in geography or English literature. It's basic knowledge an average person should posses. Yes, there were a couple of things they could have missed, but most of those questions were ridiculously easy. Not everybody has general knowledge of spelling? Well, they should, and that's coming from someone who speaks English as a second language. Not knowing how to spell IS a reason to be ashamed of, as is not knowing what language is spoken in Australia. If I embarrassed myself like this on TV for everyone to see (that includes potential employers!) I would not leave the house. It actually makes me scared that people who lack any knowledge about the world (I don't count pop culture as knowledge) are allowed to vote.

You can't use a celebrity making multi millions in this argument. Rick ross has females. Enough said.

Ok, you need to stop with your "predictions" in the episode threads. From past challenges, I know you regularly post in the spoiler thread. And I witnessed you then take your "predictions" to the episode discussions. Weird how you're always right, huh? I decided to go spoiler free this reason. Because of that, I try to skip all your posts, but I still catch some on accident so I have a good idea of some things to come...
I don't really like Jordan (or Bananas) but his weird stroll over to Laurel for a victory kiss had me cracking up. Like it was so dramatic and unnecessary.

They were making fun of him for that on after buzz with Mark Long this week. It was pretty funny. "I have emerged victorious so I will grasp you by the back of the head and kiss you now".
Sneak Peak for the next episode

Yeah my sister who rarely watches the show was making fun of him for that because it was so dramatic. Hahah I can't deal with him.

I was surprised, too. I was pretty disappointed in Camilla. I can't stand her drunken antics, but I LOVE competition Camilla. She has so much drive and fight and she never gives up. Until now, that is. She didn't even try. She seemed off the whole episode, so I don't know what was going on emotionally or mentally, but it was really heartbreaking to see. It wasn't the Camilla we're used to, that's for sure. :(
I see Jessica Szohr from gossip girl.
I don't see Helena Christensen, but I've always seen the Jessica Szohr comparison. I actually got a bit of a chuckle when Jonna got the Gossip Girl question.
All three are beautiful women.
I was kinda gutted for Camilla. I mean I wanted to see Theresa win, but it's a shame she went out like that. Surprised to think it was Theresa' first elimination win as well.
Also seeing Camilla show some humility in her defeat regardless of the circumstances made for a nice change of pace.
