Thoughts on Tonight's episode
The Trivia was hilarious as usual. Damn these people are dumb... LMAO at "Atleast you didn't say dutch" or at Jordan doing the backflip and Bananas saying something about it lol.
Devyn is playing the game smart. I think it was her best choice to send in Theresa cause Laurel would have gone for her. Her execution list... hahah damn not gonna lie Laurel is kind of scary. I wish they would have shown Zach/Devyn disagreeing on the votes.
CT has a system in the draw and I think this is it: Conspiracy: @TheOfficial_CT can tell which is the kill card by the marks on the front. (This is a tweet I saw)
Jordan beating Swift isn't that impressive. It seemed like Swift got a bad start and he was doomed.
Camila loosing was heartbreaking. Reminded me of Derrick loosing on the gauntlet 2. :(
Cohutta's commentary was hilarious & TJ was too funny on this episode.
Bananas was dead on about Jordan on the aftershow.
I hope Brad does one more :)
Theresa said "Laurel has always hated me" but I can't remember anything going on with them previously. Maybe I just have a bad memory when it comes to Theresa because I can't even remember her on previous seasons lol.
No, I'm not. At all. They didn't know what the elimination round was. It amazes me how people don't comprehend simple concepts. I feel like we're headed down a path where I have to start explaining that 1+1=2
Instead of acting like there is something wrong with our heads for recognizing a bad game move, why don't you finally explain what made it good? What did it accomplish besides make Theresa look more untrustworthy and give people more of a reason to vote her in?
They didn't know what the elimination round was? Um, I think 99.9% of people watching - including the female competitors themselves would feel pretty confident betting on Laurel beating those girls in all those elimination rounds, so that doesn't matter.
I kind of loved Laurel's elim list. Every season people give her **** about writing strategy down but she just doesn't care anymore lol.
The way she pulled it out and Devyn's reaction was hilarious.

1. You're again using future results to try to justify a decision at the time. That's foolish and illogical.
2. Any time Laurel isn't sent in the girls are making a mistake. At that time it could have been a new elimination every time. Maybe it would have been a puzzle. You just don't know
3. You have to remember that I create arguments for a living based on facts. You're ignoring facts known at the time to criticize with the benefit of hindsight. The only thing that frustrates me more are people that don't understand simple math
I don't see how hindsight matters. Sure, maybe Theresa realized in hindsight it was a bad move, but that doesn't mean it was a good move when she made the call. No matter what happened, she was going to have people not trusting her. Laurel already wanted her out so not saying her name was just dumb IMO, especially after rallying everyone else to do it. And I'm rooting for Theresa.
Bingo. If you're going to argue Laurel was targeting Theresa regardless, then it was an even worse move to go back on her vote because the ONLY thing that accomplishes is more people not trusting her. Either way you slice it, it was bad. Risky doesn't equal good. This was a stupid risk.
Everyone still think Theressa's move last week was brilliant? :nevreness:
That move could have gotten her *** sent home today lol.
It was dumb, a few folks tried to defend it, but it was definitely stupid. Nobody trusts her now, and I'm looking at twitter I don't think she's got a lot of friends on the show now.
Laurel to me is still playing too hard. Shes got this in the bag hands down!
I rather go in to elimination after elimination and show people why I should win even more because I'm so good lol

Someone else mentioned this strategy in the last thread too. That people should/could take advantage of attempting to memorize the kill cards because of the grain differences on each wooden card.

Yeah, it's like she understands how much of a cake walk this will be for her, yet she doesn't at the same time. She probably could have just said "go ahead and vote me in" and still be here.

Every elimination is a risk...even if you'd win it 999 times out of a 1000
Every elimination is a risk...even if you'd win it 999 times out of a 1000
Yes considering there is the draw and you never know who your going against but I can't see her losing to anyone remaining! Shes too good!

I understand how Theresa trying to send Laurel in could be good gameplay, but how was switching her vote to Jasmine last minute anything but completely idiotic? If she had any kind of foresight she would know that it would get back to Laurel, and she'd become Laurel's #1 target. If Devyn didn't tell her, her best friend Cara would have. The only thing the bait and switch accomplished was getting her sent in this week.

The point of making a move is for results. Any smart person would be prepared for Laurel to come back from that elimination. And if you want to have Laurel in there so badly every time, then vote her in. You would want the troops on your side to vote her in. What was the point of backing out? Explain that to us please. Theresa only showed the troops they could never trust her. How is that a good move to start with?

I think getting Laurel in there was smart, but not retracting her vote. At that time, the chance of Laurel going against a good competitor was rather high(Nany, Camilla, Aneesa)...3/4. I don't think there will be another time this season where they'll get that high of a success rate in pitting two good competitors against each other. I do agree that taking back the vote was a bad move though but the initial part of it was a good move.
The troop doesn't matter seeing as it looks like it'll be all individual challenges from this point out with the numbers dwindled.
Theresa made that move hoping Laurel went in against one of the stronger girls. If Laurel then gets eliminated, none of that saying Jasmine name thing matters. Theresa was banking on the 75 percent chance that Laurel was going to face a legit challenger. Laurel would have been on a plane home upset with the info Cara would have shared with her. Unfortunately Jasmine pulled the card and the move went up in smokes .
Brad get hair plugs or something? Cause last time I saw him like 4 years ago, he was def going bald. I don't like his hairstyle but I think he looks good. Haha I actually got a sports caster vibe from him.
Yes considering there is the draw and you never know who your going against but I can't see her losing to anyone remaining! Shes too good!
Nah, she's not going against a bunch of Emily's, she's going against girls who are already scared of her to begin with. She doesn't seem to have much competition, and she knows it.

That hairline lowering surgery though. I would definitely get some work done on my head ASAP if I was going bald.
Brad's a good dude and always speaks the truth, it's always nice seeing him back.

I thought he did a good job...just wish he wasn't so PC. "Well...I can see it from the rookie side...and Bananas is right too...but...".

He's being smart though. He's trying not to make enemies with his commentary in case he does want to come back.
You know what, I don't like Theresa either and I don't know why. I don't feel strong negative feelings about anyone this season really except her, and I can't remember her from previous challenges.
Good on her for winning though.

You may have fallen victim to her horrible Wisconsin accent as I have. Other than that, I don't feel too strongly about the girl either.
Having a basketball backround really helps her in that type elimination too. Leg strength and stamina are big. She needed that win to get away from being stuck in the middle of the pack with osme of the other girls. Their are only a few elite girls imo in the whole show, but she can at least be on the top of the second tier if she keeps impressing and beating girls liek Camila.
But i really need to see her run a final, and if she can never make one, that is a glaring problem. Hopefully she can make this one because i bet she has stamina like Diem does, not quite as good at puzzles, but still she is more willing to do more physical aspects than a Diem would be or eat whatever imo
You may have fallen victim to her horrible Wisconsin accent as I have. Other than that, I don't feel too strongly about the girl either.
Hah, the way she talks does grate. But I find Laurel's strong midwestern accent to be oddly charming, so maybe not.
MTV is really going big with a;; these after shows. They actually had faith in the ratings for this season :(
I don't think it's only about ratings, probably more so of the 25th milestone.
