Because if you send him in there's a decent shot he'll come back and then he's going after you and anyone you care about. Amber can keep jeremiah for the summer for fun but I would rather her settle down with an older wiser and just as attractive person like darrell. I remember amber being really touchy and huggy with him lol.

Just based off of experience and general speculation I think the age thing won't be an issue for a bit, but when she realizes for example he don't own his house (which I could be wrong about but given that he's only 23 that's a real possibility), just in general lacks adult life experience, and probably isn't in a place to actually settle down she'll bounce. I'm all for her having fun don't get me wrong but it's just true that in general people tend to be less in a place to be serious when they're young. Jeremiah is going be a whole frickin meal in 5 years I just don't think he is rn, obviously this is my opinion blah blah disclaimer lmao.
