Serious question here. I just finished season 8 All Stars and I don’t understand. They all admitted that they saw every season. And yet they all followed Rob to their downfall. He screwed over every single person on his own season and yet they all chose him as the person they would trust with their life. And stuck with him, knowing that he was only loyal to Amber. What a disappointment. I would have thought All Stars would have been smarter than that. Am I wrong?

It wasn't shown in the edit but the entire season was basically set up by a pre game alliance between Rob, Kathy, Big Tom and Lex. Rob was the only one not loyal too it and was able to take advantage of all the other players throwing their games away for him

You have to trust someone which is pretty much impossible in Survivor. I dont have a huge issue with people trusting in Rob during that season. Especially with the preseason alliance

Ok. I have to ask. How do you guys stand it? I am just about to finish season five in Thailand and I can’t stand it!! How do you get through a season where there is literally no one that you want to see win a million dollars. It’s unbearable to watch these slimy people and know that one of them walked away with the money!! I am so tempted to just give up on this season and move on to season six!!

I watched Thailand at 1.3x speed. sometimes 1.4x
LOL! Someone did tell me that seasons six and seven would be better. And they were. I have currently made it up to three quarters of the way through Cook Islands and they have all been better than Thailand (albeit by varying degrees)! I have to say, I now understand why everyone gets addicted to this show!!! :-)

Favorite Guys so far:
Ozzy, Bobby Jon, Terry, Hatch and of course, Gary Hogeboom since we are both from and live in the same town!!
Females are fewer since so many of them just skate and use flirting and I find that weak but: Kathy is my number one and even the cast said she should have won. And I do like Stephanie even though I liked her better on Palau than I did on Guatemala. I do like Danni as well but those are the only three that stand out for me so far.
Seasons it’s hard to say. I am currently loving Cook Islands and I also enjoyed Palau a lot. I have basically enjoyed most of them except Thailand. Hated Thailand!! What are yours? Am I forgetting anything or anyone major? I have been binge watching from the start so I feel like I am getting too much of it in a blur!! LOL

That doesn't seem to be a popular opinion though I think a lot of people weren't fans of the race twist. Australian Outback & Borneo were also great starts to the series with great casts when I look back now
Rob Cesternino is probably my favourite old school player, as well as Hatch, Colby, Jerri & Boston Rob, plus Yul, Ozzy & Parv from Cook Islands are all favourites of mine. I can agree there weren't a ton of great old school females, even all stars had quite a few females that aren't really aren't that memorable. I remember absolutely hating Terry when I first watched Panama, I was rooting for Shane & his alliance and Terry just wouldn't go away ****, respect the **** out of him now though of course

Season 14 is okay but 15-20 is one of the best stretches this show has had IMO, China is maybe my favourite newbie season ever and definetly top 5 along with Micronesia. Gabon & Tocantins were both unique with great locations and casts. And 20 is probably still my favourite season

I still haven't finished Cook Islands but just watched the tribal council to get down to the final three and watching everyone fall asleep waiting for Sundra and Becky to try and get a fire started has got to be one of the funniest things ever!! Even when they gave them both matches after they struggled for an hour, they still took more than 30 minutes and Sundra ran out of matches!! I am dying!!!!
