The Challenge: What Ifs

What if CT and Adam beat Johnny and Tyler in the last elimination before the final on Rivals I? Would they have beaten Kenny and Wes? What if Zach and Trey didn't get DQ'd in the elimination on Rivals II against Leroy and Ty? I think they could have done some serious damage had they made the final, and IMO they would've taken Jordan and Marlon's spot on Day 1.

(unlikely) 2) Adam wanted to spite CT more than he wanted to win. 3) Adam decided he'd rather lose an elimination than embarrass himself in a final if he wasn't feeling confident about it. 4) Adam is SO naive that Jenn asked him to lose (sarcastically maybe), and he did it.... FOR TRUE LOVE! 5) Adam is SO naive that he believes Kenny and Johnny are his real friends and he did it....FOR FRIENDSHIP! I'm not a fan of Adam... I don't much care for CT either but I don't like seeing him held back by other people either. Inventing the Banana Backpack during cutthroat was pretty fantastic.

I don't think Adam ever truly got over the fact that CT beat him up on national television. He seems to be the kind of person who holds grudges.

What if Derrick & Diem hadn't stupidly thrown away their advantage in numbers by picking Theo & Chanda for exile? What if they did the smart thing and picked Wes & Casey or Tina & Kenny? I think those 2 teams pretty much would have been a lock to face off in that exile unless one of them managed to win the pardon. How different would the final have been if Derrick & Diem made wiser moves as the power team?

Bc theo and chanda would have sided with Dietrich and diem and then I think they would have had darrell on their side. So the match up would have been Tina/Kenny vs wes/Casey. Which unless tina and kenny lost to wes and casey, the outcome would have been the same. Bc if they threw in tina she would have even more so thrown Derrick and diem in. Would have been cool to see Derrick and diem vs darrell and aviv vs theo and chanda though. That would have been a very close final.

Are you the one was basically a big real world house with love matches.

What if Dan Renzi was not selected by the Good Guys to go into the final men's inferno, and they picked CT, Abram, or Derrick instead? Do you think the Bad ***** would try to throw the last mission to give the life shield to the nominated person and send Dan in (à la Katie on Inferno 1)?

The guys probably would have to save themselves, but I don't see the girls doing it since they appreciated Dan's team morale. Not that it matters since none of the females won any lifeshields anyway.

What if the Vets on Gauntlet III had listened to Bananas and threw Easy into the gauntlet vs Evan; since they ended up playing Sliders I think Evan still would have won. Without Easy, the main narrative for The Gauntlet III is nonexistent, how could they have possibly edited the final to make it look close when clearly the Easy-less Vets would destroy the Rookies?
