I can think of one thing that is more boring....and that is the same people making it to the final challenge all the time ehm....Johnny.
Agreed. Especially considering he just manipulates and politics his way there every time.
It'd be one thing if he was winning elimination rounds to get there, but most of the time he doesn't.

Maybe my memory is hazy but I recall his team winning more challenges then any other team in both Exes and Rivals and winning an elimination round both seasons.

Great point about Exes. Don't recall on Rivals.
I retract my previous statement, sorta.
I just know on the majority of the challenges I've seen him on, he's a complete snake.
Hated when Evelyn sided with him at the end of The Island.
Just saw on Big Easy's twitter feed where someone asked if he would do another challenge anytime soon.
His response was that it wasn't his decision, they'd have to tweet MTV/BMP, but that he was "beyond ready."
Looking at some of his pictures, he looks to have slimmed down quite a bit.

I think you mean everyone letting him get to the finals. It's really easy to mainpulate when almost everyone there is your friend.and/or won't put you in for some reason.
Not sure if this has been mentioned but for the first time I have seen just now, the MTV Vintage section through ON Demand cable has a challenge on it. I have checked in the past hoping to see a challenge or even Real World season (always wanted to see Paris) but I never saw any. I am happy to finally see a challenge and I hope we get more. Would love to see some Road Rules too. I missed a lot of stuff before 2005 or so.

Do you know which challenge it is, or did they just add an empty category?
Finally watched Fresh Meat 2 (thanks again to Molds for the tip to check MTV).
Happy to see Landon win. Always liked the guy.
I was suprised to see Wes gas out like he did in his elimination round. Couple that performance with his Rivals finals performance.. and I kinda wonder what happened to the superman he originally seemed to be in Duel 1 and FM1. Too much emphasis on lifting and not enough cardio?
Also, Danny replaces Johnny for me as most disliked.
I loved it when his partner, upon being picked said that she would've been happy with anyone except Danny because he's an *****. lol
Danny seems like he wants to come off as one of the top dogs. Like he's some alpha male. Which is such a stark contrast from his season on RW Austin.
You're not a top dog. You might've gained some muscle, but you're still a weak guy competitor, and you still come up short too often.
I didn't mind him on Austin, but he's definitely changed since he's gotten "famous."
Also, Noor and Pete (both Fresh Meat) seemed like good competitors. Don't remember if any of them have come back since that season though.
They haven't.
They haven't.
Not suprising. Correct me if I'm wrong, but after FM2, it was the Gulag, then Rivals then BOTEs.
So only Gulag they would've "qualified" for.
Maybe one will come back in the next season. CJ too - he seemed like a good competitor.
Lastly... as a former fan of Wes, and I was actually rooting for him early in this season... he is terrible, absolutely terrible..... terrible at the political part of the game. Wow.
The only person from FM2 (the hasn't appear since FM2) that I'd like to see back is Sydney, I think she brought something different to the challenge with her blunt personality
I thought Sydney was pretty boring and didnt bring much to the challenge. I would love to see Carley come back from Fresh Meat 2, she was interesting, funny, spoke her mind, and imo I think she could be a decent competitor.

Wow that's odd. I could I sworn I mentioned what challenge it was. It's the Gauntlet III. It's in the Vintage MTV section.
From what I hear it sounds like Noor would be willing to come back. He def would like the check. I would like to see he and Brandon stick together since they are buddies.
If they do, do a buddies challenge I suppose they could be a team.
Danny, I really enjoy watching Danny. I think his hilarious. He puffs his chest alot but never backs it up. When he goes off in a confessional about how he's going to make so and so pay it always brings a smile to my face. He seems really sensitive over things.
I remember when he and Brandon got into that fight. Then Wes did his signature full body press hug. Then later Danny kept hugging Brandon and it got kind of weird lol.

And for those who don't have OnDemand, Gauntlet III is currently available on mtv.com along with a few of the other [strike]older[/strike] less recent challenges (Fresh Meat, The Duel, etc).

OnDemand as in Xfinity?
Seems the old seasons on MTV.com are still unavailable to me.. Kinda strange how after rivals they all of a sudden were unavailable to watch in my region while they don't even air where I live..

May seem like a dumb question, but is there a separate MTV site for your country/region where you can access them other than through the US-oriented mtv.com?
Last summer, MTVtres ran a marathon of "The Inferno 2". It was so random...I hope they do it again!!! Guessing they aired it 'cause the show took place in Mexico? lol.

I remember that. It was so random and I only caught it because I was channel surfing. Otherwise, I wouldn't have known that until now. There's been random challenge marathons on VH1, too.

Yeah mtv.nl but the shows don't even air here anymore I think, and they don't upload any episodes of any show to that website.
This is a question way out of left park, but bear (or is it bare?) with me....
I was youtubing old Challenge videos, and came accross the Puck spitting on David video.
Question: Why was Puck so popular?
His season on RW was, I want to say 1994-5? I know I was in high school at the time and rarely if ever watched. But I do remember him pretty much being a *******.
The season was on in 2003 I believe (Battle of the Sexes). He spit in Davids face (mind you, David was obnoxious)... yet everyone was rallying to keep Puck on the show and they all got off the bus and refused to do the days challenge until Murray made the decision to keep him.
Why was the guy so popular? Or was it more that people just didn't like David?
Off topic - I also found a video of David doing stand up, and it was terrible.

Because he was THE *******.
One of the reasons why I started watching RW and the like is because there is usually someone in the cast that you just love to hate. That was Puck but times a hundred. Very few villain types in later seasons don't even begin to match up to Puck, in my opinion. I mean, the guy spent half the time on his season antagonizing a guy who was dying from AIDS. And I have to admit, the crusty Mr. Bungle shirt he wore all the time was a nice touch.
I have no idea why other cast members, even from other seasons, would like Puck. That is inexplicable to me. I vaguely remember the incident you are referring to and it boggled my mind as well.

Some might disagree with the tense considering some of the recent allegations against him these last couple years.
I thought that was the season where he came on all, "I'm a changed man and I am so in love and that is the only reason I am here--to win some money so we can have a perfect life together" culminating with his wedding on the show.
I do think David from LA was getting on peoples nerves, and I think Puck was such a disaster people found humor in his trashiness.
If I do remember correctly Puck bullied Ellen on BOTS1 and Amaya, Melissa and Tonya all refused to go to his wedding because of the way he acted....imo I dont feel like any of the women should have gone, but everyone wanted attention back then, everyone wanted to be on TV and have camera time, it seems like now days after people are on the RW they shy away from the spotlight and challenges and being on TV rather than relish in it.

In Puck's defense, Ellen was rubbing her nose in Puck's wedding business before he did that. Like she was putting her opinion out there about how his wedding shouldn't be like how it was going to be and he didn't like that.
