Yesterday the Media was aloud to visit the house and run through a typical day in the BB house. Everyone was hoping that after this event they would release some pictures of the house but sadly there has been a Media Blackout until June 29th. Yes it sucks *** but lucky for us there was a rumored leak and someone going around spewing out hints on what the Big Brother House is looking like. A recent interview with Executive Producer Allison Grodner did shed some light on the theme this year. "The house is gorgeous. It's a modern house this season, and we're going green. Eco-friendly." Heres a short summary of some of the rumors running around about the house some of these look to be very believable. Nothing will be concrete until the 29th when B-Side Blog posts the information.

Pillows are made of hemp/Cotton fiber
Kitchen table looks like a canopy tree
TV in HOH room has been upgraded to a more modern set
Whole kitchen/dining area looks like a forest with fake gr*** from the backyard as carpet
Living room has huge rocking chairs that recline
No couch in the living room
A huge tank is situated in the corner and filled with fish
Fiber optic textured Walls of different colors
motion-censored sinks controlling the volume of water released
motion-censored showers controlling the volume of water released
Upstairs is asian inspired with dragons on the wall and hanging Asian lanterns
Upstairs sofa is a giant leather circular bean bag
Backyard has a eco-fountain
No clothes washer
Giant Mural of a forest

[via onlinebigbrother]
Sounds like it's going to be a cool house. I love eco-friendly/green houses. It kind of reminds me of the RW Hollywood house.
That is interesting. I like the whole green thing. I agree DPlayer, it reminds me of RW Hollywood.
I found this at jokersupdates.com.
I'm a little hesitant to post this, as I'm sure I'll get some hate/disbelief claims, but it's certainly pertinent! One of my old college buddies has a job with EndemolUSA out in Cali, and while he isn't doing any work on Big Brother 11, he said he was pretty sure of some stuff going on in this season. Initially I had taken everything he said with a grain of salt, but he had already told me that they decided to "do the house very green and ecofriendly," and now that that has proven to be true, I've taken his other big claim more seriously. I'm still considering this speculation, but it sounds VERY plausible. The twist? Here is a summary of what I have been told... CBS is making all of their shows cut back on their budget and saving where necessary (the economy blah blah blah), and this year, the twist is that when all the houseguests enter the house, they're being told that the prize money this year is ZERO DOLLARS. And now, instead, they'll have to build the prize money as they go along. Now I don't know if that means they'll have to raise it in challenges, or by going without certain items in the house or whatever, and "Jim" (we'll call my source that) didn't know much beyond that. I assume the max they could get is the standard 500,000... but who knows.
I hope this isn't true... I don't think I would like that.
That would be a terrible, terrible twist.
That would be a terrible, terrible twist.
Part of me instantly cringed at reading that and part of me was hopefully that it could work out if it is the twist. While it is a good effort...I just don't think that type of system will work out in Big Brother.

While it is a good effort...I just don't think that type of system will work out in Big Brother.
I just can't see it working in any way possible. I mean what if they do terribly in missions, etc. I really hopw that they were not this dumb in choosing what to do.
I just can't see it working in any way possible. I mean what if they do terribly in missions, etc. I really hopw that they were not this dumb in choosing what to do.
That was indeed my thought too. Chances are they would not get near the 500,000 and end up with a much lesser amount. Also that puts more focus on the physical aspect of the game rather than the mental game which is mostly what BB is all about. BUT I have heard the story of someone on set or someone close to the show saying something...so who exactly knows until they actually do it.
That is a terrible twist! Is anyone else worried about no clothes washer? I guess they would be hand washing- or really smelly!
The eco-friendly house sounds really good. I am glad to see television take part of this whole new thing about being green. =] About the twists...I won't trust anything until the show starts I guess. They are somewhat weird and hard to believe. I'm pretty anxious for it to start. Hopefully I don't miss an episode this season. I tend to miss out on lots of episodes. I didn't start watching BB9 until Alison was evicted. Either way I hope this season is really interesting. I don't usually like BB when it gets down to few people. It's boring. The first weeks are always so drama filled, I absolutely love it. Plus my favorites usually don't make it far except BB8.
Reliable source CornerOffice returns Per Corners post: The House Guests enter the house on July 5th. As far as the twist, I’ll ask you a question. What clique were you part of in High School?
[via realitybbq.com]
Hmm, the clique thing could be interesting, but I don't want them to be segregated.
I am intrigued by this clique twist, as I recall hearing that they were looking for "geeky" girls and other typical high school-esque stereotypes. I just hope that no one actually knows each other from high school, because that show was called 'High School Reunion'. :)
That would suck if they all knew eachother :(
because that show was called 'High School Reunion'. :)
EXACTLY! Since Grodner said nothing ever on tv before; please do not be a repeat of High School Reunion.
I cannot wait for this season to start! Season 10 had tons of explosive moments. I really liked it.
If the "high school clique" twist is true I bet Grodner will throw in about two or three people from the same high school that had some sort of drama in their past. I don't think everyone in the house will know each other.
Yeah, if they know each other, I definitely will not watch.
Sheila has posted a myspace blog that has made Jokers Updates question whether she will be in the house this summer. Now, I'd think it's much ado about nothing, but CornerOffice (a source that has a flawless track record with preseason BB info) submitted to RealityBBQ that "The 12 House Guests who haven’t been in the house before will be sequestered on Sunday" (emphasis my own).
Reality Blurred is also reporting something to the extent of two teams. CornerOffice debunked the 2 identical houses rumor but there definitely sounds like there could be something with two separate parts of the house that will include Sheila and another veteran as team leaders. Sheila also posted an urgent blog yesterday stating she had 2 days to get a home for her dog Janelle and **** are supposed to be hosting some weekly Real Pass show, Jen Johnson seems to be continuing to do her MSN correspondance, so those are popular houseguests who we can count out as being Sheila's counterpart?
Sheila also posted an urgent blog yesterday stating she had 2 days to get a home for her dog
I'd be absolutely devastated if Shelia was on the show.
Yeah I would not like to see her on it. I would like to see 7 all stars and 7 new people in a house. That would be cool.
Yeah I would not like to see her on it.
She makes me nauseous. And that was before I saw her penthouse photos...
She makes me nauseous. And that was before I saw her penthouse photos...
LOL. I would NEVER look at those!! What made you do that to yourself?
LOL. I would NEVER look at those!! What made you do that to yourself?
I'm still asking myself the same question. I'll never be the same.
I'm probably in the minority but I liked Sheila, I found her to be hilarious. Any time I had a chance to catch the live feeds, it was her who I looked for to make it entertaining. I'd have preferred Jen Johnson or even Janelle for her third go around, but Sheila will entertain me.
No Sheila!!!!! No!!!
I'd have preferred Jen Johnson or even Janelle for her third go around, but Sheila will entertain me.
I'd prefer just about anyone. I couldn't stand her the second she walked in the house and started crying about her partner. Not to mention the constant "woe is me" mentality. I'm being serious here...if she is the focus of the new season I definitely will not get the feeds and probably will only watch passively. It would ruin it completely for me. Season 9 was one of the worst seasons ever and she was a big reason why. I can't imagine why CBS would want to go back to that well.
I really hope this turns out not to be true! I will be very disappointed if Sheila is on this season.... Out of all the people they choose Sheila???
Sheila is annoying. To the point where I turn the channel.
