I really like the Time Machine addition to the feeds...everything interesting seems to happen late at night and being on the East Coast and having to be at work at 7 AM doesn't mesh too well with that. I wasn't even going to get them this year because it was a wasted investment last year but that may have changed my mind!
12 is the original number from Big Brother 2 and 3.
Im fine with it.
Cast size doesnt matter as long as all 12 of them are awesome.
I agree.
I agree.
It is a good point. BB9 had 16 HGs to begin with and we saw how that turned out. So I agree too that as long as the 12 are awesome it'll be fine with me but I would have preferred a longer season to be honest. Oh well. It won't stop me from watching either way lol
SO only 3 people will not make the jury?
Or were jurys smaller I dont quite remember.
I think the jurys were about the same, they have been 7 for a while.
Well I found out some "spoilers" This may be just a rumor, but it would explain the 12 cast members. Based on this article there are 12 cast members in each house. That's right 2 houses 12 cast members each!!

Already been discussed RMD...I don't think it's true.
I think 9 weeks is fine. It always gets a little slow toward the end, so if they keep a good group and not thin it out too much until the last couple weeks, it will make for a better show.
Also, the Fall TV schedule starts to light up the 3rd week of September so it will end at a fitting time.
How much does the live feed usually cost?
Well when you first get it, you get a free trial for three days. Then you start paying $14.99 per month.

Actually, last time I got the feeds (Season 9) I started with a 14 day free trial!
I'll probably at least try out the feeds this year and take it by ear depending on the cast.
I need advice, is Big Brother that good? I've never given it a chance. But I might be willing to watch this season. When is the premiere?
Yes. July 9th.
However, be warned, it is not just a television program. It's a way of life! :D

Big brother is awsome. They have good and bad seasons. They are due for a good 1. My advice would be to watch season 6 and 7 on youtube ;)

It most certainly is....even at it's lowest point I couldn't turn away.
What is the whole concept? I tried reading it up at wikipedia and all it did is get me even more confused... lol. I get the part that they live in a house with no communication, correct?

They have no communication with the outside world. Occasionally they will have phone calls. The whole concept is people live in a house and a housemate is voted off every week until there is two housemates left a the end. Every week there will be a "Head of Household". The Head of Household will nominate two people to be evicted that week. There will then be an immunity challenge in which any immunity from elimination can be won. If one of the people who were nominated for eviction wins immunity, someone else will be nominated for eviction. Then there is the elimination ceremony in which the house will vote which of the two housemates will go home. This is the basic process, but there may be some twists. At the end there will be a jury of 7 and the jury votes the winner.
Well when you first get it, you get a free trial for three days. But if the season is only going to be 9 weeks (2 months) it's probably more cost effective to get the $15 monthly one twice...especially since the last week or so of the feeds is super boring.
Just be warned though - you have to cancel the Real Player Superpass subscription once you are all done with it, because it automatically renews itself and bills your credit card.

Correct.
Here is how Big Brother Works.
The houseguests live in the Big Brother House, with no communication to the outside world. All the housguests are competing for 500,000 dollars.
HOH - The HOH (Head of Household), is the most powerful position in the game. To become HOH, the houseguests compete in competitions after each Live Eviction. The person that wins the competition becomes the HOH, and has the duty of Nominating two people for eviction. The competitions are usually quizzes, or endurance. The HOH also gets their own private room, which usually contains a letter from home, and food. A person cannot be HOH 2 times in a row. They must sit out the next competition.
POV - After the HOH has made his/her nominations, the POV (Power of Veto) competition takes place. The POV can save a nominated house guest from eviction. There are six people that play in the POV competition: The HOH, the 2 people that are up for eviction, and three other houseguests. Whoever wins the competition has a choice, they can keep the nominations the same, or they can save one of the two nominees from eviction. If the POV is used, the HOH must nominate another person for eviction. This takes place at the POV ceremony.
Eviction - After the POV ceremony is over, all that is left to do now is evict someone from the Big Brother House. The evictions are live and have a live audience. The two people up for eviction cannot vote. The only time the HOH can vote is if the votes end up in a tie. The remaining house guests goes to the Diary Room and casts their vote on who they want to be evicted. The person that recieves the most votes is evicted. After the eviction is over, the HOH competition begins!
The Jury - Like Survivor, after so many houseguests are voted off, they start to form a Jury. The Jury consists of the seven people who were most recently voted off. The jury decides who wins the money at the finale.
This is the basic process of Big Brother, but of course they throw in a twist every now and then. I hope this helps! :)

Phoenix swoops in and saves the day again! haha The thing I like about Big Brother is that it isn't something they film and then show months later...it's as it happens. And we get to see them on the feeds without any editing.

It is a 14 day free trial... I dont know what I was thinking when I said three!
Sorry about that.
