1. Why is everyone so old? 2. "Female"come on don't copy on the real world just yet.
1. 8 of the 12 supposed cast are 30 or younger, with 4 out of 12 under 25, and the oldest person is only 41...how is that old? 2. What do you feel would be a better word to briefly describe someone's gender than female? "Woman" doesn't exactly work in that context.
On The Early Show Julie Chen announced there will be 10 new strangers to throw into the house.Allison Grodner said Julie Chens baby could be the 15th house guest. So there could be 4 all star players.

It's way more drama when they are younger. And if they were going to describe Alex, women should be () not "" quotation marks are not met to describe someone or something. I think it's a hint for something else.

Here they are. It also says 1 mystery houseguest to be revealed july 9th! http://www.cbs.com/primetime/big_brother/
Wow, I was really starting to think the Sheila stuff was BS, but now that there is a "mystery houseguest" on CBS.com, I guess it is a foregone conclusion.
The casts looks good so far. I bet they're probably going to bring more than 1 mystery houseguest. Can't wait to see what happens.
I almost feel like bringing Dan, last season's winner, back would be a better fit to the high school clique theme since he is (was?) a teacher. ETA: The mystery houseguest will actually be revealed the 7th (Tuesday), a couple days before the premiere.
Yeah he is a high school teacher. He's also a football coach for the high school team.

RealityBBQ has examined the source code on CBS' website and the link that is supposed to activate for the mystery houseguest is for a "Brian" -- the one who was evicted first last year??

I listen to BBAD radio and last year him, Steven, and Angie did episode disscussions with the hosts everyweek. He is hilarious. He has a lot more attitude than we got to see in the house.
Honestly I'd rather them not bring back any past Houseguests I just want the new cast in. One thing I liked about Last season is there were NO twists and it was just 13 people playing Big Brother. I was hoping they would go that route this season but I guess not.
Brian!? hellno. I'd much rather Sheila.
Evidently, Steven from last season hinted on his facebook that "several" of his houseguest friends have "disappeared." I'm about to leave work so I can't check it out, but might be worth looking at!

Hopefully they will be more interesting in person then they are in their Bio's. Also Robyn, I am so dissapointed that you brought back another sterotypical *****y ***, I really thought BB had moved past that, I think everyone is really, really over that character! Mystery Houseguest, LOL... Recycled theme means Recycled Housguest, how boring is that!! And by the way, why is it that my friends such as Jessica BB8, Sheila BB9 and Brian BB10 have mysteriously dissappeared??? If you guys read this contact me I am worried, it is as if you have taken somewhere that has no communication with the outside world???? I was hoping BB would make it long enough to have an another All Stars that I could possibly try out for, but with this lack of originality and brining back those same boring personality types, this will surely be the last year... That myspace blog post is your typical jealous whining that is often seen when someone's 15 minutes are up...
I would like to see the houseguest be someone who didn't really get a chance to play that long. I would like to see Alex (BB9) or Brian (BB10) They looked like good players!!

I wonder if there is going to be a 5th clique, something along the lines of 'The Seniors', i.e. the people who have done it before. I know there is only supposed to be 1 more player but I could see them just saying that for now. Regardless, I'm intrigued to see how this plays out.
My guess is along the lines of the idea that the four cliques of new houseguests will compete and the winning clique gets a veteran to join their team -- Sheila if the outcasts win, Jessica if the populars win, Brian if the nerds win, and there is probably a veteran male jock type in the mix too...

I like that idea! Have a previous houseguest on hand to represent each clique and when one wins, they get their former HG to join the team. I like that a lot better than the thought I had, which was a whole team of former houseguests and whatnot.
This season the twist is that the cast will fit into cliques from your high school days!! The 12 cast members will be broken up into the following cliques. Athletics Brainiacs Popular Off-Beats As Cliques (Teams) they will compete together in compotetions for food, safety from eviction, and luxuries!! A 13 houseguest, currently unknown, will be added to the game and to a clique which will give that clique an advantage!! The 13th HG is a mystery and will be revealed on July 7th! Now the big question is going to be which house guest fits into which clique?!
Well according to the video that Phoenix put into the other thread it gives a few clues and says Jordan would be popular.
I'm guessing the off-beats will be Kevin, Lydia and Casey; the populars as Jordan, Laura and Braden?; jocks as Russell, Jeff and Natalie? and brainiacs as Ronnie, Michele and Chima? It definitely seems, from the way Grodner described the twist in a welovebigbrother interview that it would be more adventageous to have more people in your clique because HOH is individual but the HOH winner can't nominate his or her clique. More people in the clique means more chances at safety. And the press release said the mystery houseguest will provide an advantage to one of the cliques. I'll bet money that it will be some sort of competition the first night and the winning clique gets the past houseguest that would fit with their typecast. The good news for the Sheila haters in that case would be that Casey, Lydia and Kevin probably seem least likely to win something. The fact that Grodner did not seem to include the love of her life Richard Donato in the pool of past cast members definitely makes me think she's planning All Stars 2 sometime soon. She definitely went for some second-rate vets in Sheila and Jessica and scraped the bottom of the barrell for Brian so I bet she's saving some of the better people for AS2...
I see Chima as an off beat.
Chima seems like a Popular or Brainiac girl to be honest.
I believe this is the interview that ssseeeaaann was talking about, if anybody is interested in listening to it. Just looked over the cast and have to say a few caught my eye. They have a chance to be a good solid cast I think and it will be interesting to see how they react to the twists....how it will change their gameplay. We all know there will be backstabbing not only again other teams but against their own teams(or cliques or whatever it turns out to be..). Also Jordan does look very good haha Thanks for the video Phoenix!
This season can be awsome or the worst one yet.
RMD, I think I have to agree with you on that feeling.
