Going Dutch
House is rumored to be split in 2 like survivor. The houseguests will start with no prize money and through competitions have to increase the prize money and compete for HOH and POV. The is identical to two season of Dutch Big Brother. Dutch Rules divided the house in permanent groups.
From Wikipedia
The housemates were divided in two permanent groups. One group lived in a luxurious part of the house, the other group lived in poverty. On unexpected times a battle was announced, in which the two groups could fight for the right to live on the rich half. Each group had a captain with special duties and privileges (a Head of Household before that name was coined). At any moment each participant was free to challenge his leader in a captains-battle.
The series started out with only six housemates. The others were secluded in a villa in Spain and were only gradually introduced. Each new twosome started with a battle to determine which group they became part of. In Spain, where there were no cameras

I don't like this idea at all UNLESS one team is newbies and one team is all stars. I doubt I would get that, though
Sheila is such a horrible trainwreck. I pray to God she's not coming back. She would talk trash about Adam and then go her DR and say: "My only allegiance is to Adam." God I can't stand her.
Sheila is such a horrible trainwreck.
Exactly why I think she makes good tv, lol. I mean, she got herself into a 40 minute argument about her yeast infection. BB9 was not a good season but I always thought it had a few solid cast members -- just not an interesting dynamic between them. The entire dynamic had a trailer trash feel to it but I think someone like Sheila in a new mix would be interesting.

I beg to differ, although I do respect that some people are going to like Sheila - as some people like just about every cast member.
Coach (Survivor) made good TV as people had a strong reaction to him and he polarized the audience. **** made great TV because he was loved for being hated and hated for being loved. People don't care about Sheila in the same way. The only emotion she evokes is that of pure annoyance.
There is a big difference between having a cast member that annoys you to the point of changing the channel (which I did many times during BB9) and a cast member that you loathe (thus tune in specifically to see awful things happen to them.)
She is not the "bad guy" per say. Rather she is like a screaming baby in the other room that never goes to sleep. No matter what is going on in your living room (the foreground) there is a continual shrill in the air that works its way through your skull, setting off a migraine.
Sheila is a viewer migraine, not good TV. :D

Per Corner,
First up, we have a theme throughout the house this year – called “The Have and The Have-Not’s”. You should be able to get the general idea regarding what that’s about from the name.
Now to much talked about High School theme that has caused various rumors to spread out over the internet. Here is how it will work:
Big Brother has cast people who they believe represent some typical high school stereotypes. However, it will not be Big Brother pairing them up. Once they enter the house, they will be told to form the cliques themselves – Big Brother will not force them together like Big Brother 9. In other words, Big Brother could have cast someone that they see as a Jock but the houseguests could decide that they are a “geek” instead.
Once these cliques are formed, they will play as teams for a while, but they will eventually split off into individuals and play the Big Brother Game by themselves.
So, wait, are some of the older housemates coming back?
How do you figure that? Are you talking about the most recent speculation?
Yes, I'm talking about the recent speculation. Like how everyone is talking about Sheila, so I was just wondering if some older housemates were coming back.
Reading through this RealityBlurred article, which describes the Netherlands version of such a twist, I think it only adds more fuel to the fire that Sheila and someone else could be coming back. The Netherlands had the rich vs. poor thing (as Corner Office on RBBQ said it would be haves and have nots) and that each team has a captain that can be "overthrown." The two veteran cast members, to me, would seem like natural fits for the first captain role.
The gag order on the journalists who spent a 14 hour day in the house will be lifted tomorrow so we should definitely look forward to many more details tonight -- stuff usually comes out almost as soon as the clock strikes midnight on the date they are allowed to reveal stuff.

Ya, I wouldn't lend to much weight to that crazy connect the dots stuff. It makes Dartnagan's challenge speculation look like Pulitzer prize winning journalism. ;)

I wouldn't give Dart the Pulitzer compared to Darock :)

Whoops, it is still too early. I did mean Darock. Those **** Dars can be confusing at times! :D
Anyway, I might just be in denial (as I keep reading over Sheila's myspace blog trying to determine intent) - but I am hoping that if there are past houseguests present, Sheila is not one of them.
Heck, give me Eric. I hate Eric, but would jump at him over Sheila!

When do I receive my award? :)

Ah come on Bacchus...you'll learn to love him :P If there is gonna past houseguests then I could think of many more that I'd want to see on there than her.
Well here are my ideas. If they said 12 are comming in who have never been in the house before, and with the rules that are being speculated, maybe 2 former houseguests will be the team leaders.
I don't think I am going to like the twist this year :(... The last time Big Brother had "teams" it ended up being the worst season ever.
I will give it a shot.
It'd be crazy with just teams in general. Maybe they should just bring in TJ to host haha
LOL I think TJ's personality may be boring for BB.
LOL I think TJ's personality may be boring for BB.
TJ has a personality?
I am pumped, I didn't realize that the show starts in like a week!
Once again, per Corner.
There will be four “Cliques”.
They are:
Jocks
Populars
Brainiacs
Outcasts

WHAT?!?!?! This SUCKS!
Big brother is a solo game. Does anyone remember the tragedy that was season 9?
That is what I said RMD1. You would think that they would have learned their lesson after Big Brother 9.
... This makes me wonder how they are going to have a HOH and stuff like that.
Certain games be it food comps or luxury or POV were played by teams that are broken up by grouping up so what better than putting them in Cliques. It would be cool to see them making decisions as cliques like nominations and such! Should be interesting!
