How do you not recall, did you watch any of it? He threw Her, Katie, and Beth under the bus. They called it "trim the fat" and it was said on every episode of the season. I love Evan but watching that was unbearable, especially after seeing how he treated Coral. I forgave him though.
Simmer down tj, simmer down..I like the shows, yes..But i do not dedicate my life into remembering every excruciating detail..
can someone please explain to me why they dont consider diem weak? i doubt that she would beat anyone in any physical challenge... except for like brooke. but i really believe that they let her slide by in the duel becuz of the whole cancer thing- which i can understand cuz no one wants to look that insensative. but on g3, she didnt do anything to prove herself. coral, katie, AND beth would have taken her out.
I don't think Diem is weak like Casey, but I don't see her as a strong competitor, either. The thing is, she was CT's girlfriend on G3, and he was part of the running of things on that challenge, and Diem was a FM person as well, so it's easy to see why she was kept when you look at it that way. Plus, Kenny essentially said on the reunion that girls like Beth, Katie, and Coral were girls who would speak up - which would not make them easy to control basically. So someone like Casey - who I think is the weakest competitor on the shows - was kept longer than them in spite of her competitive weakness because she's easy to control. She has a sweet/naive side to her, and she, um, isn't the most analytical person. She sees the guys as her brothers anyway and wouldn't suspect them of anything wrong. Diem - I am not sure if she was really connected to all that was going on. To me she was either clueless or she felt the guys were right to do what they did (and that's just my thoughts based on some of her comments). Ms. Dynasty, it was a big theme on that challenge, though - I think that's why tj phrased what she said the way she did.
Coral was really hurt by Evan especially being with the others in plotting all of this, since she considered him a friend. And with her being a feminist, it had to bother her even more to watch the show and see \Evan & Kenny go on and on over and over about the women and how useless they were and how they wished they could leave them buried (or whatever mean things they said that they thought was funny).
That makes sense.. I remembered sexist pigs but i couldnt recall who took part..

She just seems to slide by because she has a lot of friends.

My favorite part of the whole entire G3 was when Katie started freaking out at CT. "Your a liar, I hate a f****** liar. Send me home, but everybody wants you" Then CT is all.."What did I do? Why am I the enemy?" I love Katie!
I love Katie!
Same.
I seriously don't think there is any 1 who hates her.
If you go to the real world/road rules videos on Google, it'll take you to this website that has a bunch of old videos. It has the full season of Battle of the Seasons and Battle of the Sexes 2. I started watching the challenge when I was in 7th or 8th grade. It was the challenge 2000 when Veronica and Amaya hated each other. I also remember this challenge for the sheer genius that Heather B. was. I don't understand why shes never been back! She was a good competitor and seemed like she really wanted to win.
If you could post or send me a pm with the link I would greatly appreciate it. I would love to be able to see some of the old challenges again.

Wooooooow....
Sorry I freaked liked that. I have met him a few times and he thinks he is better than every 1 else!
Im watching botseasons now and my god are chadwick, holly and stephen annoying...
Nice to know I'm not the only one watching past seasons. I watched them all in passing years ago but hardly remember anything. Now I'm going back; started with The Island and going in reverse chronological order. So far I've seen The Gauntlet 2 and everything after. Since I'm only gonna go down to BOTSeasons, all I have left are: Battle of the Seasons Battle of the Sexes The Gauntlet The Inferno Battle of the Sexes 2 The Inferno II
Very good seasons remaining!!
Does anyone know why the editors never really showed that Veronica and Rachel were actually in a relationship?
I'm pretty sure it was because they were very secretive of it. They only fooled around off camera. Tonya had said that when they were all "sleeping" and the lights were off. Veronica would get out of her bed to join Rachel and "fool around". There was also footage of Veronica and Rachel showering together on the Inferno II and you see them coming out of it then going back into the shower because there was a camera right infront of the door.

If anybody wants to watch the old challenges besides the ones on that site, they are still up on the mtv website. You can also watch the aftershows. Fresh Meat, The Duel, Inferno 3, Gauntlet 3, and The Island are still on the MTV site.
I was just on youtube watching some old Real World/Road Rules stuff and I must say It reminded me alot about how good these shows used to be. None of the Current crop of castmembers will EVER hold a candle to what came before them. I can kinda see why so many people hold on to the past of these shows...because used to be so Good.

I think the reason people like the older seasons more is because of the cast: the longer they've been on TV the more you'll get attached to them. Of course when a cast is great (The Pit, Gauntlet 2, The Duel, Inferno 2, BOTSexes 2, Gauntlet 3) it makes it better, but it doesn't change the fact that these challenges are fun to watch.

Duel 2 doesn't have the drama that that draws me to the show, and the Island was just a big suck fest.
I think the reason people like the older seasons more is because of the cast: the longer they've been on TV the more you'll get attached to them.
That's part of it, but some of us just view a lot of the past people as having more dynamic personalities, and better drama. That's one of the reasons people say they love the older RW and RR seasons, and that's just basing seeing people on one season. And perhaps the shows (challenges) were better put together in terms of centering the storylines well back then. I also liked some of the missions in the past more. I need to find more of the earliest challenges to watch to rejog my memory of everything that happened in these and rank them correctly, but I know I enjoyed them more than the last several seasons (at least when I watched them, I remember liking them more than the shows out now), so those rank ahead of them. Top two listed are my absolute favorites for sure, but the top six are amazing and what I feel were the best overall. Every challenge before Gauntlet 2 - the exciting, most enjoyable challenge years for me. 1. Battle of the Seasons 2. Inferno 3. Battle of the Sexes 4. Gauntlet 5. Battle of the Sexes 2 6. Inferno 2 Challenge 2000 Extreme Challenge RR All Stars (don't really consider it a challenge, but many do) RW/RR Challenge 11. Gauntlet 2 12. Fresh Meat 13. Inferno 3 14. Gauntlet 3 15. The Duel 16. The Island
So this might be a little off topic but does anyone know how I can find a way to watch the full seasons of the old challenges? mostly The Duel and Fresh Meat and the Gauntlet. It's impossible to find for me. I've searched all over the internet with no success.
The Duel and Fresh Meat are on MTV.com. Just look under "Shows" and from there choose the option that will allow you to view all shows so that you can search through that list and find those challenges.
Wow! thanks alot. I could have sworn that whenever I'd try to watch past season on mtv.com the videos would never work, but apparently they are working so I dont know what I was doing wrong. Thanks again!
Sometimes links for some of their past shows give me trouble as well.
