The Challenge: Battle of the Exes - Spoiler Discussion

re: The Challenge: Battle of the Exes - Spoiler Discussion
Doesn't Rachel live in Miami, though? I think she does, so if true, she would not have been en route to Miami unless she had been in another city/state at the time. So it would not be confirmed that way. She could have shown up at the airport in Miami, though.
Some can be confirmed via their "pair" though. Aneesa, a very regular tweeter, has not had a peep since yesterday morning. If she is there, it is likely that Rachel is also there. Same thing with Emily and Ty and some other pairs. Others have been a bit...promiscuous...and their "pair" is a bit harder to identify.
re: The Challenge: Battle of the Exes - Spoiler Discussion
LMAO omg you people are crazy, I thought you were serious about that Sauron and Guin Guin person. I wasnt really paying attention when I was skimming through the posts but molds said she updated the cast thread, I was thinking who the **** are those people?! Must be some old school guys that I havent heard of :p Dont worry I figured it out after seeing the pics of the penguin and the lord of the rings guy. No more sarcasm please.
re: The Challenge: Battle of the Exes - Spoiler Discussion
Just looked back at the first post-- is there any possibility for another older guy like Landon or I know Frank was speculated or someone else of that stature to be on? Like another heavy hitter type dude.
re: The Challenge: Battle of the Exes - Spoiler Discussion
I think Johnny & Mark might be screwed in the final. Robin & Camila are not great runners. Emily, Cara Maria and Diem are all better runners then them.
The Challenge - Fall 2011: Wild Cast/Format Speculation

Also Cara Maria mentioned she was getting shots on formspring.
Re: The Challenge: Open Thread
Wouldn't Dustin get in trouble for posting that he'll be on the next challenge?
Yes. I'm sure he will hear from BMP if he has already not heard from them. Some people are not to bright about who they tell in confidence, expecting that person to keep the "secret."
Re: The Challenge: Open Thread
so the eliminations can go for example Mark & Robin vs Leroy & Naomi, but have Robin vs Naomi in a timed elimination and lets say Naomi wins with a 5min time, and then when Mark and Leroy go head to head in the same elimination Mark has 5 mins to beat Leroy or else he and Robin are eliminated. That actually sounds pretty intersting in my opinion.
I highly doubt that. As I just said: I highly doubt they will be competing as couples.
re: The Challenge: Battle of the Exes - Spoiler Discussion
If Priscilla is rumored to be on the challenge, then who would her counterpart be? Also, Wes has two choices: Mandi or Kelly Anne. If its Mandi, then Kelly Anne's HAS to be Cohutta. If his counterpart is Kelly Anne, then Mandi's HAS to be CT. Im hoping for CT. CT >>>>> Cohutta. I really think CT helped bring in a lot of viewers last season, he was the most talked about cast member on multiple boards, including mtv.com.
This isn't a set list. It's always possible that Kelly Anne won't be there.
re: The Challenge: Battle of the Exes - Spoiler Discussion
I thought Mike was taking a break from Challenges to focus on school?
re: The Challenge: Battle of the Exes - Spoiler Discussion
Welcome to Vevmo! :) I hope you're right about Ty - because that would more than likely mean one of my favorites, Emily, will be also taking part. Keep an eye out for clues on their Twitters, because we usually need more to go by before we can "confirm" them. Doesn't seem like Ty is that active anyway (hasn't posted since end of Sept) while Emily is usually very active. She posted one thing yesterday (a picture of a coffee...which she could have purchased at the airport?) Who knows.
jesse girl noted in a post not too far back that Emily stopped tweeting as well, so interesting...
re: The Challenge: Battle of the Exes - Spoiler Discussion
Someone earleir said something about Alton/Irulan and Frank/Jillian, but I just figured they were making it up.
re: The Challenge: Battle of the Exes - Spoiler Discussion
I heard that Sauron, the Ruler of the Desolate Lands of Mordor was signed on to cast. He should make some waves this season, not just in the drama department, but as a competitor as well. He stands at a tall 8 feet, 11 inches (9 feet on a good day). Sauron also wields the Ring of Power which, given how lenient BMP has been on the issue of performance enhancing drugs, is totally within the rules. Competition aside, Sauron totally stacks up as a rating booster because of the drama he brings to the table. Like CT, he's got a short temper and there's the ever present possibility that he will beat somebody to death with his large, black mace. Can you say, "closed casket funeral"?! Wes better not be up to his old tricks because his hair won't be the only red coming out of him! Har har har. And of course we all know Sauron's history with Johnny Bananas. Remember that episode of Key West when stuck Sauron's hand in warm water in an effort to inspire involuntary urination whilst the Dark Lord slept? Classic! God deliver the souls of the three cameramen who perished in the ensuing rampage, Amen. Sparks are sure to fly between Sauron and Cara Maria! Little known fact: before Cara Maria made her debut on Fresh Meat II, she was dating Sauron! It'll be interesting to see how Abram chooses to react. Some speculate that Sauron may still have lingering feelings after the break up, which was supposedly mutual. This fan of the show thinks that the All Seeing Eye will be fixed on Cara Maria's outstanding *** for the better part of the Challenge! Ho ho ho! Early unverified and nonexistent polls still show that CT is favored to finally win it all.
Omg I was dying reading that. I love the nerd humor. Plus I thought it said Shauvon instead of Sauron for awhile which made it even funnier, whoops lol
re: The Challenge: Battle of the Exes - Spoiler Discussion
I REALLY hope Johnny goes home next. I don't want to see him in another final. But it looks like ORIGINALLY, four teams would make the final, so if I may ask molds, do you think that Dustin's injury would cause a Fresh Meat 1 scenario in this situation where they have the same amount of elimination rounds, but one less team makes the finals?
re: The Challenge: Battle of the Exes - Spoiler Discussion
Huh? That guy has been in more finals than most people have done challenges.
The last time Abram was in a final was Inferno 3. And Diem/CT's last final was Gauntlet 3. So I don't really want to see Mark, Johnn, and Cara make it to the final.
re: The Challenge: Battle of the Exes - Spoiler Discussion
No guys will ever work together with CT as long as he is competition to them winning, simple as that...doesn't matter the concept of the challenge or how the teams are constructed. CT has proven repeatedly that he can be a strong, dominant player and make it to the end without playing politics and relying on his physical ability. Johnny & Mark have both demonstrated in the past that they will flock to any other decent players in the game that they can who can stick around long enough and help them eliminate their biggest threats, and in this case, CT is their biggest threat. Not only just him, but Diem also has exceptional long distance running endurance and Johnny and Mark have Camila and Robin as partners...do the math.
CT has a terrible social game, that's why he loses. It doesn't matter how much muscle you have, the politics of the game is how you win. Johnny wins because he builds a strong alliance and they map out a plan and stick to it till the end. CT plan is just to eat everyone.
Re: The Challenge: Open Thread
Man it sucks that Emily and Ty aren't on this one. Especially Emily, she deserves another chance. Well at least Wes is going, i'll still have someone to root for.

I didn't see all of the Sydney season, but on the Ruins, there was that big debate over if Kellyanne and Dunbar had sex. Then, Paula could be with someone like Derek or Jeff (FM2)

I do believe Rachel and Anessa are likely to appear (I sure hope so, too, because I'd like to see them). The poster I quoted was saying that since neither of them had been confirmed yet, they were wondering if they'd be there. I was just trying to say not to expect to see that Rachel was en route. Anessa is a different story.
re: The Challenge: Battle of the Exes - Spoiler Discussion
oh god please no Frank and Jill....I'd be okay with Alton and Irulan.
re: The Challenge: Battle of the Exes - Spoiler Discussion
I think it would be hilarious if Dunbar lost to Ty.
Re: The Challenge: Battle of the Exes - Spoiler Discussion
I hate to defend Johnny but this challenge against Mark is a joke to say Mark would throw it. Johnny has a lower center of gravity, and more strength in a smaller package. Mark's strength is more evenly distributed and his wiryness is a weakness with this. From arm wrestling principles alone I'd say Mark has no shot, take into account his age, and giving away body parts, the notion he threw it is ridiculous. If Johnny wanted to share some winnings with him as a trusted alliance member helping him along the way and a retirement gift now THAT I'd get haha
Re: The Challenge: Open Thread
I haven't posted in a while and have had to do a lot of reading to catch up on things. I know that there isn't an official speculation forum yet but I did see Johanna's name brought up on the "rumored" list. Did anyone see that she's in a new commercial now? It's for Fairfield Inns but she just has a tiny part and only a couple of words as a desk clerk. Even though this seems like a step backwards from her bigger part in the allergy medicine commercial, I'd be surprised if she did another challenge since she seems to have moved on with her career. I also saw a post about Ayiiia (hope I put the right number of "i's" in her name) getting a call from Justin Booth but I thought it had been reported that he was no longer involved with the challenges. I remember that someone in the know here at Vevmo (can't remember if it was molds, V1man, or someone else) had posted during the time Rivals was airing that Justin Booth wasn't well-liked by the cast and/or other people in charge at BMP and had either left on his own or was asked to leave. I apologize if I misunderstood and I doubt if I'd ever be able to find that post again. So is Justin Booth still involved and if so, does that mean that the cast will be under lock and key again? I'd love to see a throwback challenge where they had some good-natured fun (rather than the mean-spirited bullying kind) as well as some of the fun games they used to play (rather than the Olympic trials and Navy Seal training we've gotten recently). My two cents.
oh god please no Frank and Jill....I'd be okay with Alton and Irulan.
I believe Irulan has a young baby, but that hasn't stopped others....
re: The Challenge: Battle of the Exes - Spoiler Discussion
The cast so far definitely gives me a Duel 1 cast vibe, which makes my underwear a little tighter teehee... That said, as long as Kenny or Theresa aren't on the list, this cast can go nowhere but up!!! Once the full cast is up I'm staying FAR away from Vevmo until the season actually starts, as both Cutthroat and Rivals were spoiled for me in the Interesting Facts Thread of all places.
re: The Challenge: Battle of the Exes - Spoiler Discussion
On a related note, good to know that Vinny is still terrible at these things.
hahahaha:laugh2:
I think Johnny&Mark might be screwed in the final.Robin&Camila are not great runners.Emily,Cara and Diem are all better runners then them.
I absolutely agree. Emily might be in the same boat though because of Ty...I think if only one of Cara/Abe and Diem/CT make it then that team will have it locked up...hopefully both make it so there's some intrigue.
Re: The Challenge: Open Thread
Could be looking too much into it but it seems like the challenge cast could be finalized and pre challenge examinations are starting. Also Cara Maria mentioned she was getting shots on formspring.
Ugh, Adam, Johnny, Cara Maria again. I really hope that tweet doesn't mean they're on the next challenge. Especially not Adam, he's a total bore and pointless as far as competition goes. Cara is just annoying.
Re: The Challenge: Open Thread
Nany found out Adam is going to be there and dropped out? Whatever the reason may be, im very disappointed. Really wanted to see Nany on this challenge.
Re: The Challenge: Open Thread
Do you guys think they're gonna have another Island type challenge? Other than the final, I really liked the season.
re: The Challenge: Battle of the Exes - Spoiler Discussion
This isn't a set list. It's always possible that Kelly Anne won't be there.
Yea I know, im just saying based on the rumored list so far.
re: The Challenge: Battle of the Exes - Spoiler Discussion
Isn't Mike still in Ecuador or somewhere like that, doing charity work?
re: The Challenge: Battle of the Exes - Spoiler Discussion
I know this doesn't confirm it, but someone posted on Emily's wall yesterday saying something like "thinking about you today! big hugs" or something of that sort. A ton of people liked it. I will get a screen shot.
re: The Challenge: Battle of the Exes - Spoiler Discussion
Here's the twist, if Naomi goes home, Leroy goes home
That's a terrible idea, and I hope it won't be used. To have your fate in someone else's hands is even worse than vote off seasons. You should always have a chance to fight for your stay.
re: The Challenge: Battle of the Exes - Spoiler Discussion
I still hope we have 16 girls & 16 guys & it would be better that if there were no hookups theme its unfair.
re: The Challenge: Battle of the Exes - Spoiler Discussion
My reasons for not liking them have nothing to do with competition. I don't like Paula because I feel like she gets constantly asked back for no reason. Plus I think she's a bully, but cries wolf whenever it gets done to her. I don't like Sarah because this is her fifth one in a row and I wouldve liked to have seen someone else. I haven't liked her since the Ruins, and I hated the way she treated Abe/Shavoun on Cutthroat. I don't like Diem because of her attitude. I stopped liking Mandi after Rivals because she just seems so blah to me now. Plus this is her fourth one in a row.
Co-sign.
re: The Challenge: Battle of the Exes - Spoiler Discussion
Just because Vinny is home and Sarah is not, it doesn't really mean anything. I think it's been a few times that this won't be a pairs challenge. I think it's just a coincidence that Nate and Priscilla are both home, but I could be wrong. On a related note, good to know that Vinny is still terrible at these things.
Yeah I was getting worried there he was going to make it to the fourth episode. Thank god I don't have to listen to him for that long.
re: The Challenge: Battle of the Exes - Spoiler Discussion
Not really surprised Wes went home early. He isn't nearly the competitor that he was on FM1 and The Duel 1.
I think he is a good competitor, but I don't think he's as good as he claims he is. His ego is his biggest downfall because he tells everyone he's better than them so they give him opportunities to put his money where his mouth is and he can't always rise up to the occasion. Also, he just bugs me.
re: The Challenge: Battle of the Exes - Spoiler Discussion
I wonder if when Dustin & Heather got sent home, did they still have a elimination that day and Leroy & Naomi go home the same episode, or will it be a day off for elimination since Dustin went home.
It completely depends on when Dustin was injured. Obviously, he was either injured during an elimination or during a challenge. But, based on the timing, it appears that there was still an elimination and Leroy and Naomi were sent home. His injury looks like a puncture wound to me. And based on where it was on his body, I wouldn't be surprised to find out that he simply fell and hit his knee on a rock or a stick. That doesn't sound like too harsh of an injury, so there has to have been something more that kept him from competing. ****** way to go out. I personally think that there is something fishy going on with either Vinny and Sarah's or Wes and Mandi's elimination, but we'll just have to wait and see.
re: The Challenge: Battle of the Exes - Spoiler Discussion
CT has a terrible social game, that's why he loses. It doesn't matter how much muscle you have, the politics of the game is how you win. Johnny wins because he builds a strong alliance and they map out a plan and stick to it till the end.
Um no. The only reason John wins is because he(Kenny and Evan too) usually has the Entire cast up their *** and will just hand the game over to them. If people on these shows actually played the game for themselvs and were Anti JEK. They wouldn't win as much as they do. Oh and LOL @ the CT comment.
Re: The Challenge: Open Thread
I highly doubt that. As I just said: I highly doubt they will be competing as couples.
How do you think they'll be competing as? I really hope its not a vote off because I think that is the most unfair way to get through a Challenge.
re: The Challenge: Battle of the Exes - Spoiler Discussion
Yea I know, im just saying based on the rumored list so far.
I should probably add: I am 99% sure that some of the people on the rumored list are not going to be on this challenge. Apart from Kelly Anne rhetorically asking her followers if she should do the next challenge, there has been absolutely no evidence that points to her being part of the final list.
re: The Challenge: Battle of the Exes - Spoiler Discussion
No, Mike has been back in the US for some time now.
re: The Challenge: Battle of the Exes - Spoiler Discussion
Wait... so are Sauron and Guin Guin the M/M couple? Or is Sauron with Cara Maria... this is confusing.
re: The Challenge: Battle of the Exes - Spoiler Discussion
I personally see them having an advantage over many due to Sarah being better than alot of the females, for example the Back to Vegas and San Diego girls would weigh there teams down, Priscilla and Naomi are not going to do well, Heather might be alright.
Don't be so sure. There've been upsets in the past, let's see if the newer cast actually excels and proves themselves. ^_^

re: The Challenge: Battle of the Exes - Spoiler Discussion
I think Ty has had to improve since Cuthroat. He didint really do bad at any challenge on rivals and i think he has had to gone into at least a few elimination rounds this season so i think Ty might be earning respect as a good player.
re: The Challenge: Battle of the Exes - Spoiler Discussion
CT has a terrible social game, that's why he loses. It doesn't matter how much muscle you have, the politics of the game is how you win. re: The Challenge: Battle of the Exes - Spoiler Discussion
I was never that impressed with Mark. He is a little better than the middle of the road, but he doesn't compare to a CT or Landon, Alton, or even a "game" Evan. He probably got votes to keep him there (by latching onto whatever alliance he could). And with Robin ( a total challenge spaz) as a partner. 3 to 1 odds, they never went into an elimination round.......... we all know her loooonnnnnng history in losing various types of eliminations....... Mark = Brad - (fake niceguy edit) + cheat /blood thirsty vampire Robin - no comment. As for what remains............ Johnny is a mixed bad... I've seen him step up and get throttled (by himself he's nothng, so I'll suspect Camila is carrying him). CT/Diem are a strong strong team, if they focus stays there as is Emily/Ty. CT and Mark have a working history, so I can see Mark and him working together. As good as CT is as a competitor, he has also in the past deferred to taking shortcuts, especially in challenges where he and Diem are on the same page. Duel 1 - Power alliance until Evan got greedy and manipulated by Wes. G3 - Sorry, CT was a disaster. He could have easily manipulated the game to get rid of Eric, but there was a potential of getting Ankle Breaker or Force Field. He's strong, but Big Easy is a load. Ty has the potential to be one of the better competitors on this challenge. Given his history with the cast, he and/or Emily probably saw multiple elimination rounds this challenge, and to the surprise of most, he was better prepared. Emily's ability speaks volumes. She is probably the only one capable of posing a challenge to Evelyn. She'd flat out smoke Laurel and Rachel.
Based on what? Emily was nearly nonexistent on Cutthroat. We have hardly seen anything superior from her. From what I remember, Laurel knocked her off the Riot Act challenge with ease.
Re: The Challenge: Open Thread
If it's for the challenge, yay for Nany and Mark, that's what we need - new blood and real veterans. Idk about the other 3 they are annoying. Cara Maria 4 challenges in a row? More crying & playing the victim card, making people feel bad about her-___- she should retire already, Johnny is whatever, I don't like Adam at all.
