I'm getting worried about this lmao like they're just gonna cast a bunch of Instagram models and it's gonna flop. God I hope they get the casting right

id personally expect some form of a formal announcement soonish (next month or so), i was doing some digging the other day and BMP recently (within last 2-3 weeks) re-filed the trademark for Road Rules

Depending on the cast size they should cast 1-2 semi known social media models and then cast normal people. But casting for shows these days suck.
Please God let this be well-cast. Please dear GOD or whatever deity you believe in. I love RR so much and never thought it would ever return and I don't want it to be ruined by flops or influencers

I hope the same. I hope it's people who have never stepped foot infront of a camera who don't try to over act or gain followers. That are just there for the experience - Make it more natural like it originially was, I think it'd be much more entertaining.

THIS. They need to stop looking at follower counts and go off their personality. I know ive been to not hold my breath about not using trainers and IG models, but a girl can dream.
is it going to be entertaining to watch people addicted to social media be without their phones? Alot of those instamodels don't even have real personalities...so if they do cast one, it better be one that gives us entertainment! I worry they care too much about the endgame (the challenge) to focus on what would be good tv for road rules
honestly influencers could work for this cause this would force them to interact and be social in real life. Most influencers are stuck in front of the computer/ phone for a living but what if you threw them in the middle of nowhere with clues to escape and win a cash prize -- although they'll have to find more obscure entertaining out of the box social media influencers for it to work.
Did BMP even put out a casting call for this? I don't recall and cannot find one anywhere ... which leads me to believe the cast 100% will be already knowns/SM influencers with 1000s of followers already not very appealing -- we need new talent.
Remember the hype & how big the casting call was when they put out they were reviving the Real World that became the flop on Facebook Watch.

I think most of the people they cast will either be influencers or people who auditioned for Survivor and Big Brother and weren't cast.

This would make sense. I feel like full on casting would be hard during covid.

+ Love Island too! You're probably right but all those are cast in-house by ViacomCBS I believe -- Road Rules (if we're doin like they did the new Real World also) was always Bunim-Murray Productions casting. But now that it's Paramount+ you may be onto something lol

nah they havent put anything out yet for casting, and i personally dont think theyve casted for it yet because they only re-filled the trademark and production info within the last month or so

its still a Bunim Murray show regardless of where it airs, so majority of the pre-production stuff will be from BMP

oops my bad i worded that weirdly, didnt really mean trademark meant more like the LLC/INC - business sos filing which usually would be the first step any company would due before they are able to resume/start a business.......my old job i spent a lot of time looking SOS's and licencing up
Paramount plus needs all the seasons.

sammmmeee
I wonder when this is filming. I know gamer said this is going to film before any more real world reunion seasons happen.. PR, have you heard anything

They should do an all star season of past Road Rulers minus eliminations.

Road Rules <3
i've been thinking i don't even know how they should go about the format of it for a new audience.

I can see them doing some Tik tokers/influencers
Lol Jake and Logan Paul.
We need Dixie Damelio, Tony Lopez, and Addison Rae

Ehhh who knows -- not disagreeing with you, but they filed The Challenge: All Stars trademark on premiere day https://trademark.trademarkia.com/the-challenge-all-stars-90610467.html , So idk how much we can go by that anymore
they've caught on to our sleuthing skills lol
