Netflix does get the show I wonder how they would go about releasing the old seasons. I don't think it would be smart to release it at the same time as the new season because you run the risk of nostalgia and people watching the older seasons before tuning it to the new one. I think they should release the new season and add the older seasons a week later.
I think Netflix will be very good for The Real World. But I will say that they're really gonna have to bring it in terms of casting. They can't do this party and hookups bullshit they've been doing for years now. They have to do something REAL and INTERESTING. Get back to what The Real World was at the beginning. If they do this and it gets on Netflix then I think the show will do well.
And Off topic. Wow @ them bringing back Daria. I hope they do that show justice.
I also wish they would reboot undressed too. Would be interesting to see that show handeled in present day.

i had the spotify/hulu bundle where it was both for $5, but the ads were so ******* annoying that i just decided to pay for the add free one, even if i'm paying $10 more and tbh it has been worth it for my sanity

I'm not giving them 100% credit yet but I think MTV and Bunim Murray have listened to our frustration and we'll be getting these things. I hope they understand casting will literally make or break this show. I have made jokes about not watching shows before but if the cast starts looking like what we've seen the last few seasons of Real World and MTV in general then I can't support it.
The press this is getting has been amazing I have seen all the major media and news outlets discussing this and the main shows they're mentioning is Daria and The Real World.

Jenny had a great personality but I don’t recall her having a really interesting storyline. Explosion was honestly a flop and kind of forgettable due to the OGs forcing the Exes out. I’d rather see her on The Challenge than them attempting to recreate her.
I have never heard of this reality show before , but supposedley it aired on bravo from 2003-2007. Then They decide it to reboot it & Netflix pick it up this year. It has been sucessful there & 2 seasons + special episode has been released already its called Queer Eye.

I am surprised about the amount of followers the cast has even karamo since prior this show he hardly had 60k on IG.
They did a great job promoting Queer Eye. I do believe if Netflix picks up Real World we might see the cast actually appear on talk shows and radio promoting the show along with decent promos. This of course goes back to casting though because no one is going to give a **** about a cast talking about hookups and fighting they're going to want people with compelling background and stories.

oh I agree The Real World is supposed to be a docu series social experiment there needs to be more going on. EOTB and AYTO are dating shows they can throw anybody on there as long as they look good in a bathing and fight from time to time people will tune in

I disagree and I think Teen Mom is a perfect example that people will watch anybody on TV as long as their interesting. You also have a show like AYTO where most of the cast are considered attractive but the ratings continue to decline every season. I think people misinterpret what we’re saying when we discuss the changes that need to be made regarding casting. No one is saying go cast seven ugly people we’re simply saying put background and stories over looks when making casting decisions. Also most of the people in the older seasons of Real World weren’t really ugly some were attractive while others were average looking which nothing is wrong with. The difference between the older seasons of Real World compared to the newer seasons of Real World along with shows like AYTO and EOTB is not that the people are more attractive they are just more artificial looking. You can’t cast seven people which mainly include girls with tons of makeup and guys who look like they live in the gym with occupations like bartender, DJ, model, and personal trainer then call it The Real World and expect the viewers to tune in.
