Dumbest Moves in Challenge History

Production replacing Carley with Cara who had done the last 4.

Carley would've still gone home sadly. They needed to replace Eric.

That whole team was a mess. Big Easy shouldn't have been there, Camila isn't even Fresh Meat, Cara had done last four in a row and needed a break. I wish it had been Brandon, Noor, Carley and Laurel.

I think production wanted each team to have an anchor which is why Easy was there. Unfortunately Fresh Meat was stuck with the worst anchor of all time.

I'm SHOCKED no one mentioed this yet. To me the dumbest move in challenge history is the girls on Rivals 1 not voting Laurel/Cara to go in against Evelyn/Paula in the first episode of Rivals. You have a chance  have Laurel vs Evelyn (who were by far the best girls on that challenge) in the first elimination round and you don't take it?!  Absolutely ridiclous. Aneesa and Robin are vets that have been the game for years. They are idiots for allowing themselves to get voted in.

Yeah, it really makes no sense for the girls to vote that way but I think that was about the guys not the girls.  Kenny was close to Laurel so they weren't going in

The girls did have a vote for the elimination. If all the girls unanimously voted for Laurel (which really should have been a no-brainer for all of them) I think they would have out numbered the guys. I also see at least 1-2 guy teams voting in Laurel as well.

I think Carley would have been an anchor. Not as big one as Easy, but no team deserved as big of an anchor. Who was Vegas' weak link? Trashelle? I think Carley would have been on par with her.

JEK was still protecting Laurel/CM at that time. It wasn't until Laurel was flirting with CT that basically dismissed them from the alliance. Laurel/CM only went in because they were last. They were never voted in.

Yea Carley could have been an anchor but I think they expected Trishelle to be a lot worse than she really was. Also production probably would have been happy with a Las Vegas win because both seasons were so popular. This is all just a guess though I could be completely wrong.

I would have loved to see the fresh meat team with girls like Carley, Cara, Laurel, Theresa, etc. and guys like Noor, Pete, Brandon, etc.

Any combination of that would have made it 10x better

Honestly a Fresh Meat team shouldn't have been there at all.

Why is reading difficult for some?  I never said the girls didn't have a vote but those guys were not sending in Laurel.   The girls obviously didn't outnumber the guys since it was the first elimination and the last place girl's team didn't vote.

Trashelle is awful--worse than Carley

But they wanted Vegas to win so they tried to give them the best team possible

Poor Wes had 3 anchors

Actually it would make sense if Laurel/Cara Maria went in against Paula/Evelyn. I think if all the other girl teams vote together and they get a few of the guy teams on board it could've happened.

The one time Katelynn actually added something relevant to a challenge and she was ignored.  She was right that there wouldn't be too many chances to get Evelyn or Laurel (the 2 best girls on that challenge) out of the game and they should pounce on it since it was right there.  It would have been an interesting elimination but  I still think Paula/Evelyn would win because the height difference between Laurel and CaraMaria might cause problems with their balance.

Queen Kat.

But Laurel has pretty long *** arms, so it's toss up for me.

Thinking about it, Laurel and Cara Maria not being voted in against Ev and Paula honestly, without consideration, is probably the dumbest move in challenge history.

The pegged "greatest" female of all time is going into the elimination and they don't vote in the other female who is sometimes pegged as the "greatest"? Both go on to take first and second place, basically dominating the season. I understand the females taking the males perspective into consideration, Kenny having Laurel's back, whatever. The females should've been wise and knew that it was best for their game to get one of the strongest girls out, I think it would've been Laurel and Cara Maria going home, but that changes a lot that season.

No fight between Laurel and Paula, no Theresa and Camila sent home (IMO), who knows what happens with Jonna and Jasmine, and Cara Maria and Laurel probably don't gain the strong friendship they did.

It's dumb on the girls side but not the guys side. Wes/Kenny, Bananas/Tyler, Evan/Nehemiah were not going to send in CM/Laurel because they want to protect Ev/Paula since that's a voice for the girls on their side. Same with CM/Laurel at the time. Kenny was protecting them to an extent. Jenn/Mandi were doing whatever JEK wanted so they wasn't going to put CM/Laurel in at all to save Ev/Paula.

That leaves

Girls : Sarah/Katelynn, Jas/Jonna, Robin/Aneesa, Camila/Theresa

Guys : Tyrie/Davis, Brandon/Ty, CT/Adam, Leroy/Adam

Camila/Theresa & Sarah was on JEK's side as well so they wasn't going to vote in CM/Laurel if Paula/Ev didn't want them to.

Yes, it was a stupid decision on the girls side but it helped the guys side by saving Paula/Ev and giving them what they wanted. Especially since a team from JEK went into all 4 of the male eliminations (Kenny/Wes twice, Evan/Nehemiah and Bananas/Tyler)

Your pic in your profile is so funny. I saw the actual clip when she made that face to the other girl who thought she looked like a muppet..haha

Ruthie and Ellen letting Emily manipulate them into eliminating Rachel and Veronica on Battle of the Sexes was stupid. Those two outnumbered Emily and could have voted out whoever they wanted.

theres alot dumb moves in challenge history

Even though they won, I thought it was dumb how the Black team on the first episode of Free Agents let Devyn of all people run across the log in the third phase lol they should've chosen Laurel to do that part.

Laurel is a better runner though, and you have to be relativly small and balanced to get across that ledge. It's a disadvantage for tall people.

Literally everyone would have done better than her.

I would've let Devyn do the puzzle part of the mission because she doesn't have good endurance for the running part and no way in **** was she going to get across the log.

Ehhh it didn't really matter that much.

Who cares what male teams they have an alliance with? The decision to vote Laurel is much bigger, more important, and could have done more for them in the game than anyything an alliance could do them.  Some of the guys definitely would have been opposed to voting Laurel in but all the girls should/could have unanimously voted Laurel/Cara in and outnumbered them.

Hands down the dumbest move in challenge history IMO.

Word. Literally every girl that was not Paula and Evelyn benefited from voting in Laurel/CM

Exactly and Devyn is smart.

Exactly. Camila/Theresa and Katelynn/Sarah thought that JEK would protect them but they mainly had Evelyn/Paula and Jenn/Mandi's back over all the girls. Camila/Theresa probably regretted not voting in Cara Maria/Laurel because the JEK alliance eventually turned on them.

I think priority was Paula. If Paula said through Mandi and Jenn, JEK and Wes (on Evelyn's part) probably would. But yeah, I still don't understand why the people in the bottom of the totem pool just follow along.

Mine trumps all.....  Back on "The Island" there was a clear division of sides, with a few people, such as myself, on the fence. You were either Team Bananas or Team Rachel. Elimination of Bananas comes up... Abe pulls the BS "I need to go home, send me in Bananas place" card. I vote to send Abe home, which then makes Ryan Keyhoe changed his vote. Had I not switched my vote Johnny would had LOST what would go on to become his first WIN.

Wow..So that challenge could've had a less terrible ending.
