Dumbest Moves in Challenge History

What about the smartest moves in challenge history?

Here are mine in no specific order:

1. Evan getting Mark and Brad to vote in Landon on The Duel 2.

2. Wes & Theresa sending in Bananas & Nany against Leroy & Nia on Battle of the Exes II. They obviously didn't know the Exiles twist, so it was still a good move for the information they had.

3. The Mob swining the vote to get rid of Rachel on The Island.

4. Jordan & Sarah voting in Bananas & Nany to go against Leroy & Nia on Battle of the Exes II.

5. Tina & Kenny voting in Darrell & Aviv and Derrick & Diem to go into Exile on Fresh Meat.

Those were 100% off the top of my head.

I think that deserves it's own thread so this is the Xara opposite of this discussion topic

kina was afraid of ibis in reverse tug of war and she knew she could beat jilian in all the elimination rounds. it was a smart move and she was right...even in the "unknown" elimination round, she was completely victorious. kina was an insufferable ***** on the duel and suffered an embarr***ing loss to svetlana which tarnished her image but the way she handled jill will always remain as one of the most kick *** female victories outside of cara maria vs emily and cara maria vs marie. jill has always been pretty overrated and her being man handled by kina really brings that fact to light.

also kina had issues with jillian that were not shown. she said jill was playing both sides during the alliance snitching and in general, just annoying with an awful voice so she was probably wanting to put the girl in the grave a long time ago...and she did

Timmy was glad that Kina chose Jillian because he said Jillian was a great athlete.  When the opposite team is happy with your decision, there's a problem.  MJ also said it should have been Ibis, & that Kina shouls have to carry her *** in the final.  If that was a normal final as planned, Ibis woulda lost it for them.  She is only useful in ating missions (see BOTS 2).  A good captain would try to get rid of the dead weight, even if it means risking yourself.  Kina would have beat Ibis in any of them.  Ibis has zero endurance.

 Kina

Is

*****

Her move w***elf preserving and yeah it might not have been a good "team" move but it doesn't matter considering that what happens to the team after kina leaves would make no difference to her

kina made the right choice for herself

Theresa rallying people to vote for Laurel and then switching her vote to Jasmine.

Loved it lol

Would have been even better if Laurel would have gone home, but the chances of that happening are 0.1%.

The move wasn't bad at the time--I said it then and still say it now

It also didn't hurt her at all in the game

Didn't Theresa become enemy #1 because of it? It was a smart move but the backing out of voting her made her more enemies.

Public enemy #1 = Got sent in once

This is one of the countless things people made up to be true that never happened

It wasn't self perserving...it was protecting a friend.  It was a dumb decision for the game...they got lucky it was a weak *** final

One of the dumbest, if not the dumbest, move ever on the show.

Oh please.

It w***uch a dumb move, yet, both Kina and Ibis won? Interesting.. And I don't care if the supposed "real final" gets brought up. What happened, happened. Not a dumb move at all.

Would it have been smarter if Kina picked Ibis and got Reverse Tug O War and lost and left a Ibis as the Rookie captain? No. At least if Kina ended up losing to Jillian, they still had a strong captain.

Oh please.

Comments like this is why I think many here are idiots

You never judge a move on the outcome--you judge it based on the information available at the time.  If Kina lost to Ibis in Reverse Tug O War she's no where near as good as she pretended and people her make her out to be.

It was the last female gauntlet--replacement captain wasn't even a consideration.  Kina protected her friend over doing what was best for team & her game--not debatable

This idiotic argument is about you liking Kina not about the decision--learn to separate the two

Learn to be less condescending and maybe people would care about your opinion a little bit more.

You try to justify everything by saying "judge by the information" over and over again. Kina wanted to win with someone she called a friend instead of someone who was wishy-washy the entire game. Jillian was below Kina, Jodi, and Susie and she was only a step above Ibis. If i were to choose between a friend and someone who was barely better than said friend, I'm going to go against the person I like less, especially if they are closer to my size when the elimination rounds heavily favor the larger person.

Here's me judging the decision on information known beforehand: The Rookies were better off with Kina, no matter what the final consisted of. Her best chance of winning the elimination? Going against Jillian. That's what was best for the Rookies, keeping Kina because she was an asset every single mission.

How was going against Ibis best for Kina's game? If she got Reverse Tug O War or Beach Brawl, she was out. Kina would beat Jillian in every Gauntlet and she knew that (BEFOREHAND!!!). So yes, Kina did what was best for her game. Not her fault she was friends with the big girl and had a second reason to not want to face her.

And yes, Kina is one of my favorite castmembers but anybody could've made the decision she did and I would see it as smart. Don't knock my intelligence and try to tell me where my mind is at when you don't have anything to back it up.

Oh please.

When people stop acting stupid I won't be condescending.  Keeping a friend is a poor game move when they aren't as good as someone else.  Going against Jillian wasn't the best chance of her winning--and her team made it clear it should have been Ibis.  If you think Ibis wins Reverse Tug O War or Beach Bralw you're clueless.  I guess Syrus and Ace beat Derrick in Beach Brawl.  Kina is much stronger than Ibis.  Beth was stronger than Ruthie and Montana--that's why she won--it isn't about weight.  Yes, you're biased.  Stop acting stupid and I won't knock your intelligence.  Everything I said was dad on--you even admitted she's one of your favorite cast members--you're either stupid or too biased to be honest...pick one.  The only thing worse than stupidity is someone that can't be honest...thanks for playing

her team wasnt at risk of going against ibis in tug of war so of course they would have no issue with kina doing their dirty work.

weight  doesn't make you a great competitor by itself but it's certainly the dominant force in tug of war. Its also an issue in beach brawl regardless of derricks elimination round. kina herself said that she was fearful of going against ibis in tug of war.

again kina doesnt care about what happens to the team if she gets sent home and is no longer on it

Again, horrible captain.  It was a stupid move for herself AND the team to keep Ibis knowing they had a final to win.  For her to be scared of being beat by Ibis showed her lack of confidence.

she potentially salvaged herself and her best friend...someone that will actually be apart of her life outside of the challenges. do you really think kina cares about the "team" or someone like MJ...a guy she wouldnt even recognize if his name turned up in the obituaries? the whole concept of "team" on these things is silly and few people actually believe which is why people put themelves before the team more often than not. you only "care" about the team when a higher priority isnt at risk and you're cerainly not part of the team if you go home. the team doesnt matter one bit if its interests conflict with the primary self interest of acquiring money. kina comes first...then her best friend...then the team. lol @ being a "good" captain for people who you wont even acknowledge the existence of once the show ends.

We're not discussing "good moves" in life...we're discussing "dumb game moves"

Sarah is getting praised for separating the two--Kina failed to do so and got lucky it didn't cost her, her boyfriendand her other best friend a lot of cash

A lot of the Duel decisions were stupid

Tyler calling out Bananas

Paula calling out Aneesa over Casey (come on)

Svetlana calling out Beth

Evan calling out CT

Shauvon calling out Aneesa

Davis, Nehemiah & Derek calling out Evan--none had any chance

Isaac calling out Landon

I guess I can understand their choices because they wanted to get rid of good players but it's just not smart. Isaac calling out Landon was hilarious.

good game moves are measured by what they net you in real life. hence sarah thrashing her relationship with bananas in order to bring her some cash outside of the game. sarah's circumstance is entirely different and not even remotely comparable. she had little to lose and much to gain. kina had MUCH to lose...her entire position in the game...in the instance she would lose against a heftier girl in tug of war or beach brawl.

Again, Kina isn't losing to Ibis in Tug O War or Ball Brawl...she was far stronger and more athletic

Devyn's face after that and confessionals had me rolling *****

ppl shit on ibis and say she was the worst champion girl on ruins and now their trying to say that she had a chance at beating KINA ? In what ? An eating contest?

Exactly--it is the most ridiculous/desperate argument I've ever seen

We know she's more athletic. The next thing that needs to be acknowledged is that athleticism isn't the only determining factor in tug of war. He last thing to acknowledge is that ibis is heavier. These are all facts and conclusions that would bring kina to her rational decision making of choosing jill

comparing derricks fight with bigger guys In beach brawl has no application here. He's trained in using his smaller stature as leverage. Kina is not. Even with that training Derrick still lost one round to each of his opponents. We don't even have to get into reverse tug of war where he got destroyed Despite being an overall better athlete than Timmy. Maybe you also forgot about Ruthie vs Beth or practically every other single tug of war that has resulted with the bigger person winning regardless of each persons other capabilities.

Jillian was an easy win in every single gauntlet

ppl shit on ibis and say she was the worst champion girl on ruins and now their trying to say that she had a chance at beating KINA ? In what ? An eating contest?

wait, so youre telling me you've yet to come to the realization that its possible to be a bad competitor but heavy/fat/chubby at the same time? Wow what a revolutionary discovery

This whole--she'd lose to Ibis in anything is beyond laughable

1.  Timmy is a better athlete than Derrick

2.  Beth is stronger than Ruthie--always has been

3.  Ibis can't beat Kina in anything--Kina knew that.  It wasn't about a risk

Alot of these moments you people listed aren't really stupid. They seem stupid to us cause we saw the consequences and what ended up happening.

I think stupid moments like evan calling out ct or jordan calling out bananas are clear stupid moments because the moment they happen we all knew it was a **** up. Things like "sending in blah blah instead of blah blah" I don't see as a stupid decision even if it ends up back firing in the end.

The Gauntlet 3 Veterans were some of the biggest brainless idiots to ever play the game & it's no coincidence that so many on that team either already made dumb decisions or would go on to make dumb decisions...them gunning for Coral when Casey/Katie/Robin/even Diem were still there (Diem had her protection though smh), keeping Eric until the final mission, sending in Johnny instead of Danny/Eric, etc.

I agree aside from Danny...Danny wasn't seen the same way then as he is now--nor was Johnny seen the same then as he is now.

Eric should have been the primary target...then Adam....Johnny/Danny were comparable with Danny being bigger/stronger at the time.  Brad was probably with them as well.

Evan, Kenny and CT were definitely not in the discussion.   Honestly, if the Rookies were smart they'd have throw in Kenny both times.
