I think it would be cool if MTV cast members did a fundraiser and event for Diem. I mean I know Johnny has been doing the t-shirts, which is very cool and Cara has done the bracelets and CJ is running a marathon and others have done things individually, but it would be really great if there was just a general event organized by MTV where alumni and current cast members of the challenge came together to donate money for MedGift and share their thoughts on Diem, talk about her as a person and what she meant to so many. Perhaps Jon Murray and other producers and behind the scenes folks could join cast members at this event. Maybe on down the road something like this will be organized. I'm proud of what many cast members have done already, so I don't mean to say it hasn't been enough....it's been great...but I'm just saying I'd love to see something like this.

I miss seeing her Tweets every day but I know that her spirit lives on in so many people who feel the same way. I wonder if the heavy heart will ever go away.
Stef, that's a great idea! Hope it gets to the powers that be.
Still thinking about Diem with a heavy heart...

I'd have to distance myself from anything BMP did related to Diem. Just too much bad blood and exploitation. It's something Diem and I talked about occasionally.
As a viewer, BMP's coverage of Diem seemed inconsistent at best. I certainly wanted to see all parts of Diem's battle that SHE was comfortable and wanted to share. It just seems to me that certain aspects of her battle and life she wanted to be shown. Her wishes were not respected. Is there more to which, you are referring?
I certainly would have liked to see BMP do something of real substance and value to honor someone who gave them so much.

Yeah I can understand that. Well I still say it would be nice if cast members of the challenge and alumni did an event like this. Maybe BMP does not have to organize it but someone else could.
I know V1man won't agree but, aside from Susie and maybe Sarah, Diem got the best edits ever
Maybe Alton too
I assume your excluding Rivals 2, clearly a bad edit for Diem on that challenge.
I think that was a fair representation of who she was at the time which is understandable given everything she was going through. Diem wasn't perfect. She was human and she had some bad moments over the years but, even in those bad moments, she was still painted in a better light than some at their best.

That would be pretty cool.
Thanks! I know the feeling, Diem is never far from my thoughts either, think about her daily. Maybe I should tweet an idea like this to Bananas. He has taken on a leadership role with everything he has done for Diem so far and brought other cast members on board. Perhaps one tweet from me isn't going to make an event like this happen, but maybe if a group of fans consistently brought up the idea, it might happen. It's worth a try. You would think actually that this type of idea might have already been discussed by cast members and they are just waiting for the right time to do it.

Definitely tweet it...to him AND Wes. Sometimes it just takes someone having the idea....

Tweeted to Johnny but didn't think of tweeting to Wes too, great idea! I will tweet both of them.

I respect your point of view, but my conversations with Diem, including her interviews for vevmo, simply lead me to a different overall conclusion which I think fairly represent Diem's point of view as well. She clearly felt betrayed by her portrayal during Rivals 2.
I couldn't disagree with you about Susie and Sarah, with Susie winning the best edit, hands down.

And you clearly have more information than I do so I understand where you're coming from. I didn't think the edit was as bad as many make it out to me either though
She absolutely was! She never quit, not in Challenges and not in fighting cancer. She'd be the first one to tell you she wasn't perfect but the way she lived her life empowered so many others, it's hard not to recognize how special she was. Her candor about her battles with depression, her self-doubt, her love of life and her desire to help others makes her a perpetual MVP in my book.
I wish Diem would have won a challenge. She was MVP in Ex1 but I still wish she would have won a challenge.
She killed the Exes final which was tough as shit so she definitely proved herself. Everyone knew she was a champion.
She WAS a champion. Both in the challenge and in life!
If the next season of the challenge ends up being bloodline and Diem was still here I would have loved to see one of her sisters go on with her.
I know CT has a sister but I would love to see him come on with Faith and win it for Diem.
I like that idea!
Aww that would be so sweet!!
Lovely thought but I wouldn't want that. I can see the gossip about CT putting moves on D's sister.
Still thinking about Diem with a heavy heart...
Me too : ( I miss her

Care to elaborate on that?

RIP Beautiful Diem
