I think thats another issue on these reality tv shows. As black folk we go on those shows and think that someones word is bond... So when they do get screwed over or things dont go as planned they crack. It’s definitely based on our upbringing though. We are put in situations where we HAVE to value loyalty and trust, so when people are ao easily to disregard those traits it makes us go crazy. We know Leroy an enabler but even he fail victim to this multiple times.. I just want mentally strong people representing us, Thats why when Darrell said that Tony didnt beat him based on luck, HOWEVER he doesnt feel defeated I could do nothing but slow clap. If more of our people had a victor mentality instead of a victim mentality we would literally RUN the challenge

THISSSSSSSS!

Also Graphik you brought up Titan Games with The Rock right? I wanted to check that out do you recommend? It looks like a soft reboot of American Gladiators tbh

Yeah I liked it but I like all these types of shows lmao I'm currently about to binge that show Strong on Netflix. A Haitian dude won for the male side on the 1st episode.

Do you know any other shows like that?  Ima have to chexk out that netflix joint

I also wish they would stick together a lot more on the show too.

*claps* i agree

It’s true they end up trusting the wrong people that’s why even tho they are corny from time to time the loyalty that Cory and Nelson have for each other puts a smile on my face. Just seeing two black dudes on my TV who I know regardless of anything they’ll have each other’s backs sticks with me

Damn I wish I didn't have to go to work, I would love to talk about this. But to keep it short Day needs to train like Cochroach said mentally and I think physically. Is she the worst? Nope. But she has the potential to be better. I do wish that the women they cast on the show took training a little more serious like Kam does. I would love to see one of us win. We're waaay past overdue for it at this point.

This too.

Even with The Queen when she was on.....she had it ALL (well except the emotional control of course lmao) but I just wanted her to hit the weights harder.....leave that Booty Belt alone and get on them barbell squats/pull ups and whatnot. Toya used to **** me off with how it seemed like she just expected to come on and......I don't know what she was expecting b/c even she has natural strength; just refused to capitalize on it.

Day has it as well but she gotta build on it if she truly wants it.

There's also Ultimate Beastmaster but that show is kind of boring to me. You may like it tho; it's also on Netflix

Im still upset that our last AA champ was nehemiah....On the Gauntlet 3.... Almost 20 seasons ago at this point... thats ******* sad especially when his win his based of a technicality *****

It's 100% by design tho knowing the shit production pulls & how they've cast over the years (and still continue to).

Nelson was close on invasion, Darrell also was 1 elimination away from winning that same season as well.

Kam can win and I’m high on New Theo as well. They need to do a team challenge soon as well to get new winners

only reason im still watching

I just remember how close we were to having an all black male final 3 on Invasion. CT smelly *** and his knots had to ruin it

I was SO hyped for that. Then of course the worst happened.

If Darrell didn’t destroy Brad’s existence he would’ve won The Ruins

I moreso REALLY hate how Dirty 30 turned out for The Kang. He was robbed infinitely with that Tony bullshit & to see that trash having the gall to think he can run his mouth like he actually earned that shit?

He knows better than to talk that big boy talk in Darrell's presence tho.

If Darrell didn’t destroy Brad’s existence he would’ve won The Ruins

This is true too.

Now that I think of it Darrell could've had Brad for a FR partner as well. Where the **** they got Brad/Kyle from.....

Trying to make that one "happen" as their new favorite casual puppet to overhype and pretend he truly adds something to the show.

It's simple, they don't want to see a Black dude having the chance to have the same record of winning as their golden boy. Especially with way less seasons than that pissy boy.

That + that season was always going to be a money-grabbing one & they were going to have a pair who they know would give them that "moment" win regardless.....those two very likely would've split it.

Ugh that team would've been EPIC

Tony disrespecting Darrell on twitter and Darrell still hasn’t even seen those tweets . Ugggh

A gotdamn shame tho.....got a whole monster athlete ready & available but would rather waste spots on trash.....whole  athlete from Real World that isn't afraid of drama & hooking up (with both sexes) that the viewers actually know at that but finds it somehow "smarter" to cast people from Brazil and whatnot.....Utter garbage. Looking at the discussion on CeeJai/Tyara earlier I think we need to have a good discussion on this very prejudiced casting game production likes to play. *waits for some folks to immediately try to come in here & feel like they can try to tell me how it's not*

Casting random people from Brazil isn't really the problem, it's rather casting ************** like Derrick H, Leroy or Jozea to represent « us » which is the bigger problem. Nelson on his own isn't enough, and production love clowning for no reason to fit the typical dumb Black sexy guy, Cory is cast to be the typical pretty Mandingo dude with no brain.Marlon is way too versatile and thus, isn't fitting the narrative they want to portray Black men.Theo might change that. Maybe.

In production defense they wanted to recast Marlon after his first apperance, they were a fans of his since Portland and they liked what he brought to the table on his 1st apperance. He was the one that declined at first over his dreams. Unlike Kellyanne and Marie never played with the idea of accepting then dropping off. So they stopped asking since he kept saying no.

Then challenges went by and they added new shows. I am pretty sure if he talks to the right person and let them know he is interested to come back. They would atleast give him a call or ex on the beach to reintroduce him.

I'm sorry but Simone just wasn't shit at all. Just an unintersting attempt to be loud as ****. Glad they dropped her like a bad habit/
