The Challenge: Battle of the Exes 2 - Love Hurts

Watching the season so far, would anyone trade around the pairs or did they like the teams the way they were? THIS IS NOT A "REPLACE AYTO WITH RACHEL/DARRELL" type thing.

For example do you like Jordan with Sarah or do you think him being paired with Nia would make better tv?

Would Leroy and Theresa be better than Wes & Theresa?

Do some people still prefer Zach with Ashley?

Does anyone still think that Ct being paired with Devyn (which I still don't get how that's could've happened) would've been hilarious?

I still think it should  have been

Adam/Nany

Dustin/Emilee

Jordan/Nia

Leroy/Joi

Thomas/Jamie

Nehamiah/Sarah

Wes/Theresa

Adam/Shanley

Dre/Simone

Zach/Jonna

Knight/Jemmye

CT/Diem

Cory/Hailey

Bananas could/should have stayed home , I rather have Cory + Both Jamie and Hailey plus a stronger alliance for AYTO because there casting was pointless.

Yeah he has always been bad lol but my point was people act different on the challenge than the real world. Zach was a bad example, someone like JD would have been a better example.

Ya Zach is a ****. He's used to treating people like s**t and still getting what he wants because of his looks and being an athlete. He's the epitome of the highschool jock sterotype.

I still think it should  have been

Adam/Nany

Dustin/Emilee

Jordan/Nia

Leroy/Joi

Thomas/Jamie

Nehamiah/Sarah

Wes/Theresa

Adam/Shanley

Dre/Simone

Zach/Jonna

Knight/Jemmye

CT/Diem

Cory/Hailey

.. Uh, when? Do you mean Ashley M?

Who is worse partner? Zach or Jordan?

Zach....

Jordan was a **** to Sarah this challenge but Zach has been awful every single time.

Jordan wasn't mean to Sarah tbh. no different than what a collegiate coach would do to his star player if he/she wasn't performing to there best.

Wrong--and I played collegiate and junior hockey.  You can't be more wrong

What did Jordan say to Sarah that was so rude and not far behind from Zach's insults? And I'm in a collegiate sport too so....

I wonder what the worst possible pairs for this misson would be, I'm torn between Preston & Devyn or JJ & Casey.

Shavoun & Danny (RR: X-Treme)

Lol I forgot about Shavoun.

I wish I could forget about Shauvon.  I think Katelynn and Shauvon would be the worst female pair...Danny Dias and Jon Brennan might be the worst 2 guys.  Danny Dias and Katelynn would get my vote for worst possible co-ed pair

I'd take Casey/Jasmine over Katelynn/Shauvon any day

Jasmine yes. Casey.... errr

Darrell/Rachel, Trey/Laura and LOLbar/Ashli.

This is the first season that I haven't read spoilers, and the suspense is getting to me. Screw you, TBC!

Has it been brought up that anyone thinks Adam/Brittany might get disqualified in this elimination? The rules were they had to use the bamboo stick to pass the crates once the tower was too high to reach by hand. Brittanyt was tossing them to Adam...

A good cliff hanger from this episode because they were so neck in neck...

I still think it should  have been

Adam/Nany

Dustin/Emilee

Jordan/Nia

Leroy/Joi

Thomas/Jamie

Nehamiah/Sarah

Wes/Theresa

Adam/Shanley

So you want only four real relationships?

The Challenge is still doing okay in ratings, right? Considering that it barely gets any exposure on television, there are no replays, it plays at 11:00pm (with no partial nudity at all), and the two most recognized teams have been eliminated/removed from the competition. No worries, Wes gets to share the load with ratings juggernauts like Zach (from the highly-rated Real World: Back to San Diego) and the Are You The One? kids, right?

I Bet They're Wishing For Another Heights/Water Challenge

So yeah, this week's episode starts again in that ************* club. I'm waiting for the episode where they're all partying and TJ shows up to let everyone know that their next Challenge starts now, a 15 mile hike back to their house.

With that said, I'm moving right into The Challenge which took up about half the episode (so much that the episode doesn't even get a major conclusion). It's the first Challenge doesn't really feature any strong sexual innuendos or relationship-building exercises. It's pretty straightforward: memorize a puzzle, hike up the mountain, build the puzzle. Easy, right?

Here are a few notes:

  • Brittany: "Before the Challenge I practiced a lot of brain teasers". HA.

  • Surprisingly enough, I'm relating to the guys in this Challenge. I'd be frustrated to if I had to lift (and hold) 300 lbs multiple times and my partner couldn't remember five shapes/colors.

  • Jordan: "I know you've got something inside you" / Sarah: *barfs* Yeah, that wins line of the night.

Top Five Lines That'll Make You Hate Zach After This Challenge

01. "Jonna is like Lenny, the mentally challenged guy who killed puppies because she loves them so much." - Props for the reference, ouch for the insult.

02. "This Challenge is ****, and you're the devil" - A very Paula-esque quotable if I do say so myself.

03. "Yeah, because you deserve the money." - Neither of you deserve the money.

04. "At least my biceps look sweet." -- #TeamCrossFit

05. "This is probably what marriage feels like". LOL jerk Zach.

Move over Triple H, Wes is the new cerebral assassin.

Wes & Theresa win the victory dinner for the second time in a row, and third time overall on The Challenge, which makes them undoubtedly the most unstoppable team in the game...yeah, let's go with that. But rather than going with the decision of just hurling Leroy & Nia back into the elimination to destroy Adam & Brittany, he opts for Johnny & Averey in probably the most well thought out pick since....well, his last one.

Rather than send in Leroy & Nia and hope they lose, he chooses to break up the Portland relationship between Johnny, Jordan, Nia, and Averey -- which is a (strong) three team alliance in a game with seven teams left. It's a much easier battle for Adam & Brittany (who are on Wes' side) and it shakes up the game once again. They're able to justify their reasoning by pointing out that Johnny was on Bananas' side throughout this game (even though he's no longer in this game), and everything kind of comes together real smoothly. Props to Wes & Theresa (but mostly Wes).

The One Moment That Turns Me Off From Averey Forever

"You're not Johnny anymore, you're ******* Reilly". And this is my reaction:

So out of all the teams in the house, Johnny and Averey have the most real-life animosity towards one another because of a slightly fresh break up and Johnny banging Nany on national (effective time slot) television on the last Challenge. Since then, Averey claims she still has feelings for Johnny but Johnny's feelings has completely dissolved because before Johnny banged Nany, Averey was allegedly caught in "more than one" compromising situations with another guy.

The worst part is that she's still trying to justify Johnny as a bad person, when no one else thinks it's true. To her, Johnny is the bad guy in this situation because they got voted in and he doesn't care, whereas she feels like he should care because his relationship with Bananas (who isn't in this game anymore) was the deciding factor in sending them in. She's too green in this game to know she just got played by Wes, and while they coddled her and gave her the courtesy of letting her know she's going in, they're sending her into the Lion's Den not because she's athletically threatening (ie: today's Challenge) but because numerically, her alliance is threatening.

I'm not sure if Johnny sees it that deep, but he does recognize that this game is going to be played the way it's going to be played and it makes sense that they're going in at this point. Long story short: Averey's stupid.

Okay, Adam & Brittany's conversation takes the cake

Is Adam really trying to justify being in the sun can hurt your chances of winning an elimination? Even Jenna thought that was stupid, and she's the President of Wyoming or something.

The Elimination

Wow, this Challenge really escalated quickly -- huh? </bad joke>

This week's elimination round may frighten me more than any of the other ones, simply because of how chancey it looked. Literally, stacking crates vertically and climbing it to ring a bell? With any slight **** up, you could have everything you worked for crashing down.

There's no real strategy for this one, just stack it and don't fall. But somehow after falling, Adam & Brittany have caught back up and it's race to the top. I don't think this elimination warranted a cliffhanger ending, but at least we know the next episode won't start at the bar again.

You Know The Challenge Was Bad When The Battle of the Ex-iled Was More Entertaining

No question about it, this week's episode of The Challenge was pretty lame since Bananas and Nany left. There's no major beef for Wes. Nany isn't being called a skanky ho-bag behind her back. But no fear, because The Banany Online Experience is here.

With a cliff hanger to hold us over until next week (and chances are no Elimination next week either, unless they plan on showing two Ex-Iiles back to back), we get a look into the lives and the crazy lavish crib of the Ex-iled house where Nany tried to cook Ramen Noodles in an oven, they watch Netflix all day, get massages, and watch ****. So yeah, this worked incredibly well. Next season they should all just share a house with TJ.

Averey is completely right, Johnny has changed, he was being a complete *******.
He isn't the same person he was on free agents, he was likeable there. There isnt a Portland alliance , those three teams were already in a alliance because of bananas being close to Leroy & Sarah.....

Well, it hasn't been proven there's a Portland alliance -- so I'll give you that. Wes inferred it based on the delibration clip that was shown the reason why he chose Johnny. I still believe that all four of them have one another's back in the end, with Johnny & Averey the lowest on the totem pole.

Johnny has changed, but I think that's because on Free Agents he was a rookie and playing his role.  He was willing to do whatever, he wasn't afraid to go in, he knew his role in the game compared to the rest. He got extremely lucky and made it to the end. Now on Exes, he's just asserting himself a lot more because he knows how the game works. In this game, luck isn't going to work and he's going to have to make moves and alliances if he wants to stay.

Question : Who was treated worse? Jonna or Sam?

Definitely Sam. Frank was just disgusting to her. I wouldn't be surprised if she never returned because of that.

"02. "This Challenge is ****, and you're the devil" - A very Paula-esque quotable if I do say so myself."

I thought the same exact thing!

Question : Who was treated worse? Jonna or Sam?

Definitely Sam. Frank was just disgusting to her. I wouldn't be surprised if she never returned because of that.

I'm kind of shocked that anyone would even say Jonna. They were both treated badly, but  it's not even close, IMO. Sam was phsyical and mentally bullied by both Zach and Frank. She was called fat and disgusting and worthless countless times. They never encouraged her in any challenge, only yelled and sometimes pushed. They both tag teamed her with insults every episode. It was disgusting.

I don't think Zach was as bad to Sam as he was to Jonna. Sam may have been treated worse at points but that was mainly by Frank. At least for Sam it was just during challenges and they would apoligize and be nice to her in the house. Jonna has been treated like shit in and outside the house.

Does nobody really understand how hard this mission was. Remembering pieces of a puzzle that was all colors and huge? And pulling back 300 lbs. You all really have to stop down playing this challenge, the height distance, remembering colors, and pulling back 300 lbs. I want to jab Zach in his mouth, Jordan is by far a better teammate.

Exactly this mission was way too difficult. The fact that so many teams didn't even finish by the time it was getting dark showed it. I wish the producers would change...like I don't understand what they're thinking. These producers think that all of these people are in the Navy Seals or something. They're just simple reality tv folks in their 20's.

The missions are supposed to be intense smh.

No they're not. I remember the disco challenge on "The Inferno 1" where they had to set up a ton of dominos and the team who set up the giant dominos and had them all fall won. Or the Ice Cream eating missions which actually was SO GROSS. The Ice melting challenge was fun where there was a huge block of ice with a cell phone in the middle and the team had to melt the ice and get the cell phone first. Tonya put rocks in her mouth then put the rocks on the ice LOL!!! CLASSIC.

The missions now are way better IMO. I'd so much rather see people bash each other in the face with riot shields than eat stupid ice cream or melt ice.

True, I'd rather see them do challenges from today, the old challenges seemed really stupid to me

is it a coincidence that the lowest rated episode of battle of the exes 2 came after & got eliminated?

Anybody know the ratings?

Zach wasn't as bad to Sam as he was to Jonna. Overall i would say Sam was treated woprse, but mostly because of Frank.

The old missions were much better in my mind. They were more diverse and fun to watch. They also could've gone either way most of the time.

I love the trivia challenges!

I'm gonna die laughing if Jay gets that question wrong. You don't even have to be a football fan to know the answer lol

I wish the questions were more on the challenge instead of random stuff.

Trivia challenges suck now, they aren't even hard.

who wins next week? if its wes/theresa again then thats crazy, maybe its zach/jonna

And in the sneak peak you can see the score board, Avery/johnny, leroy/nia, and jay/jenna got one wrong already so they prob dont win.

Lets just all talk about the final 3 based on the trailer why don't we?
