This is maybe the second worst elimination of all time tbh.
Like someone said earlier, this elimination would. have been more exciting had it been a heavy hitter vs a lay up. They def shouldn't have wasted it on Rachel and Cara Maria
No it wouldn't have. It's a bad elimination regardless of who's in it.

Oh yeah, the elimination itself isn't great - but at it would have been less dissapointing to have an underdog get a random one like this where they could take out a heavy hitter. Instead of being severly disspappointed to watch the two strongest females enter for a head to head elimination only to have this.
So what's everyone's opinion now that we are 4 episodes in? I think the show started out amazing. Has all the ingredients to be an all time great season the cast is Top tier but editNg is ruining the season. I could do without so many Kam confessionals. Her and Cara are hogging all the screen time. Jay is getting way more screen time than he deserves. As is Nicole. They're all newer castmembers. This is what modern day Challenge producers think we want. It's not what I want! If I had it my way Flora, Kefla, the Mean Girls and Adam would be dominating the screen time and that's not what's happening. Production isn't even using the tools given to them. It's just sad. Thankfully Ayanna was too much to ignore even tho they tried to edit what mother was delivering. *** was will be the final nail in the coffin. I must admit it was kind of sad knowing that the last few episodes of AS4 will also be my last episodes watching this franchise as a whole. Production is just stubborn with huge egos and are going to give us what they want. Not what the fans want.
I'm loving it but I agree there's way too much Kam. The Laurel/Nicole storyline is not good tv or fun to watch either. I wish we were getting more balanced editing. Flora definitely deserves more airtime. But looking where All-Śħít 5 is headed the editing makes sense.

I'd love to see more Flora and Kefla, too, but the reality is they haven't been relevant to the recent action. I am assuming Jay has been shown a few times because he becomes part of the story soon, but maybe not? Plus he has been doing well (was part of a winning daily, was part of the decision making this past one).
Having said that, I'm sure Flora has at least given some soundbytes during challenges or something! Kefla at least had his good one liner during the elimination.
Kam and Cara just needed to have talked to each other more before and after each vote, communication is key.
This. Kam seemed to assume Cara would go along with whatever Kam wanted and never made an actual plan/deal with Cara, whereas Cara had a deal with Rachel. At the same time, this episode Cara seemed to assume Brandon wouldn't vote for her but seemingly never had an actual agreement with him (having said that, she did have a conversation with him before the vote where she said she felt good or whatever and it didn't seem like he communicated that there was a reason for her to feel otherwise).
I'm so confused why Tina just didn't vote for Cara and Flora? Flora probably won't go after Tina.
Not that it matters, since I'm glad we get Flora for another episode.
I didn't understand this either. She said she went with what the house wanted so as not to create enemies, but she potentially affected how her ally felt about her and Flora isn't likely to be in a position to target Tina so this really made no sense. At one point I thought she was saying she wanted to show the 'mean girls' aren't necessarily locked to each other, but then she never carried that thought out so maybe not.
It was all even more puzzling because she'd actually set herself up beautifully to be the last vote; at that point her vote literally didn't matter, so why not do Cara and Flora as you said? I am flummoxed.
Just watched and production are idiots doing this elimination. Nooobody wants to see Cara vs Rachel like that. Ridiculous
It was also weird to me that it was a women's day since, in terms of the rotation it should have been a men's day. Not that it would have necessarily been more exciting as a men's elimination, but it was weird because it felt like there were a few ways they could have prevented it from being the Cara/Rachel elimination.
I'd love to see more Flora and Kefla, too, but the reality is they haven't been relevant to the recent action.
According to Gamer, Flora defended Cara but it wasn't shown. There is a good chance that she's done more than give good confessionals but they're too focused on other things when editing.
Like Kam is legit one of my favs but they could seriously tone down her airtime right now -- not just because it means other people could be shown, but also it hasn't been a great look for her. Selfishly want them to stop showing her hypocrisy lol.
What did people like about Jasmine this episode? She was fiery, but it seemed so random to me. Like, Cara literally helped keep Jasmine out of elimination earlier, and before Cara could even say anything to Jasmine about her vote this episode Jasmine was already in attack mode. Hell, just in the way she presented her vote to the group it felt like she was in her feelings. I have to assume something was edited out because her attitude about it seemed so random to me. Now Jasmine created an enemy in Cara, to me for no real reason. I'd love all of that from Jasmine more if it felt like there was real context to her vote and how she defended it, but maybe that's the fault of editing.
I'm enjoying the season so far, but I agree with what's been said about the lack of screen time for people like Kefla, Flora, Veronica, Adam and probably someone else who I'm forgetting because I keep forgetting they're on the show. The thing I like about it most is that it DOES feel like an OG season, even with people like Jay, Nicole, Kam, etc. on it. The music, the editing (for the most part), and TJ's relaxed attitude all make it a good season. It's a reminder of why I don't watch the main show anymore and haven't really in a decade. If the rumors about season 5 are true, this might be the last time I watch a season of the Challenge.
IMO AS1 was the best season of this franchise. It had legit old school players and had such a good feeling overall. I know the drama makes seasons more exciting for most, but I thoroughly enjoyed the first season the most. Yes was a great champion, and I liked the final that was spread across two episodes. Only thing I would've changed there was having two winners like seasons 2 and 3, but I'm not sure how KellyAnne and Jonna would've split that. Also, I wish someone other than Jisela was eliminated in the final, preferably Aneesa even though I like her.

They always weigh the last part of a final the most, so they would have likely used that as the tie breaker and Kellyanne would have won.
This is Jasmine's BEST season (besides maybe Rivals) OMG? Did her divorce bring out a different side of her? Maybe I should get married so that I can get divorced so that I can be as amazing as Jasmine if that's what a divorce does to you, omg- I also love how impressive it is that she can target Cara (and get into it with her multiple times too!) while still being liked by me. That isn't easy to pull off! And Kam?
Kam not going against Rachel and QUEEN CARA is the smart move, but unfortunately, she will not be getting credit for it from me because she loves to talk about how she doesn't play a "scared game" nonstop no matter how irrelevant it is. If Cara did what she did in her shoes, we knowww Kam would say something like "wow, Cara, you're supposed to be one of the strongest competitors here and yet you wanna play a scared game? Y'all know me, Killa Kam would NEVER play scared!"
I've noticed that, whenever production does a shit job at designing an elimination, they go out of their way to air confessionals talking about how bad the contestants are doing in an attempt to push the blame onto them as if it's THEIR fault. They did it during the Cory vs. Nelson elimination on Vendettas, they did it during the Kam & Kayleigh vs. Natalie & Paulie elimination on Final Reckoning, and now they've done it during the Cara Maria vs. Rachel elimination on All Stars 4.
Kam saying that Cara is not a strategic thinker for her move with the star was sooooo ******* stupid. Her lack of self awareness is to such a bizarre extent that it's hard to watch. I don't know what's up with Kam this season, she's always been cocky, entitled, and annoying, but she's NEVER been this delusional- maybe she's not liking doing a challenge as a mother? We've never seen her pull ANYTHING like all this shit she's been pulling before. *thinking emoji*
I'd love to see more Flora and Kefla, too, but the reality is they haven't been relevant to the recent action.

I remember those spoilers saying Flora was involved in several situations. I probably know Flora better than any reality personality and just because she's 51 doesn't mean she's quiet all of a sudden. Remember Tina's tweet saying that Flora does things just for camera time? She's doing stuff they're just not showing it. Again editing being stupid. Tone down the recent characters screen time and spread the love. I feel like I'mwatching a cast of 7 people this season. so many are ignored 4 episodes in. But production obviously doesn't care and are sabotaging their own show. For what reason who knows but I know Flora was out there serving sucks we won't ever see it.
Not outside the recaps on patreon that she and Leroy do. I've only seen clips from the Ayanna stuff trickle through a little on twitter so they either haven't caught up to the latest eps or not enough people are posting clips.

SO PROUD OF CARA MARIA AND HER ELIMINATION WIN! WORDS CANNOT EXPRESS! Another addition to her (already) stacked resume!!!!!
Kam saying that Cara is entitled BLEW MY MIND OMG???? I CAN'T EVEN WRAP MY HEAD AROUND IT- SHE'S DISGUSTING MY BLOOD IS BOILING

TJ is having so much fun and has had so much fun on all these All Star seasons- it makes me EVEN MORE sad for what's to come

All stars 2 was better but it's an excellent woman's cast. I think on a binge this would be a really good season but it's moving a little slow.
Has Kam spoke on this season at all?

Still can't believe I watched this episode twice today, OMG- I don't know what I did to deserve this season!
I would love to know the last time where the top 5 people with the most confessionals were women

Jasmine is earning her mother card I'm loving ha little *** on this
and I don't think Ace is ever being invited back talk about a ghost edit lmaoooo I swear I keep forgetting he's there
