My fave part of the episode was Cara still having her pity party and mad at Brandon for his vote and Brandon yells "we haven't talked in 8 years" lmaoo I cackled
Except then in his confessional he said he wants to salvage the friendship. That "We haven't talked in 8 years" would have been better if he stood on business, but in the end it seems it was just him deflecting so blah.
1. I don't trust confessional edits because that could have been said Day 1 or Day 45
2. Both can be true. He could not care for her in the game because they havnt spoken in 8 years but still want to salvage whatever friendship they had.
I got blocked by Jasmine on Twitter for clocking her contradictory self lmao I am part of the drama now, put me on All Stars 5!
What was contradictory she did?
She made some tweet in relation to Cara about how she [Jasmine] doesn't cry about stuff (I can't view it now since I'm blocked, so I can't quote it). I responded with a post pointing out times she's cried over things in the Challenge.
I just need to accept that all of these players are hypocrites, but my autistic brain won't let me lol.
Ok I'm watching the entire episode and Brandon and Jasmine made the move they needed to make.
People are just mad it wasn't the move they wanted for their favs. And, they stood in it . That's all I can ask.
Theyre giving what y'all claim to want every season.
I guess we'll see because I don't see this benefitting Brandon and Jasmine at all. I would have no issue with this move if I could see how it helps them; the reason I am complaining is because I think it was dumb. Brandon wouldn't even go against Cara until the final, which is a ways off. Now he's lost someone who wouldn't vote for him to go into elimination and might have even given him a star. Jasmine also lost someone who was protecting her.
I do agree it's giving us drama, and I guess from that angle I can tr to enjoy it, but there was apparently other stuff going on we aren't even being shown and I'd rather see that stuff.
Kamroy would have Brandon's back more than Cara, thats why this is so funny. Like theyre friends irl. Yall acting like he sold Cara out to a stranger lmaoo.

So you are saying Kam and Leroy told Brandon to vote for Cara and would have dropped him if he didn't? I didn't see that in the episode, but if so then maybe I understand his move more.
I mean Averey was one of the three that pulled off the move and Jasmine and Brandon got all the blowback so fair play to her???
Because Cara didn't consider Averey a friend. I think if she'd been voted in by basically anyone else, Cara wouldn't have been so upset. Mad in general, sure, but she didn't really get in her feels until Brandon said he voted for her.

The issue is that Brandon didn't need to sell out anyone at this point in the game. Cara would have had Brandon's back over basically any guy there too, so he could have had two strong women (Kam, Cara) on his side plus his other friends. I personally think it's really smart to target strong competitiors, but idk if that was the right time for Brandon personally.
Brandon essentially took a major risk for his game on the say-so of Kam and Leroy who are much, much more protected than him.
Stan culture is absolutely insanity. There is nobody I could ride for that could make me blind to the difference of right from wrong. I just cant imagine being so upset over a tv show to go to that persons page and write horrible things about them and their family. we barely have engagement this season on twitter from the cast and now jasmine has been run off. Its absolutely fine to express an opinion of disagreement with what a person does on a forum or in a tweet, its a whole different level to go directly to that person to harass them and their family by spewing threats and vile racist comments
side note: who woulda thought when the song stan came out that it would be even more relevant 20 years later?
Brandon getting all the camera time he was deprived of in his past seasons. Lmao im here for it, that king.
And then there's that part. Who thought it was a good idea to give Brandon of all people all this camera time? He's gone from lovable loser to almost intolerable. He's coming off as such a coward this season and just a Kam minion. It's sad that production is choosing this type of person to get camera time. And then he gets invited back for season 40. Make it make sense.
Him and Leroy literally lived together for years, people acting confused to him working directly with them is hilarious. He obviously values his friendship with Kam and Leroy over Cara who he "hasnt talked to in 8 years". Yall are so funny.
I never knew Leroy and Brandon lived together. I didn't even know if they had ever met. Editing might've wanted to have mentioned that but of course they didn't.
kam having 30 confessionals and being annoying as **** is getting tiresome. i know it doesnt change the next episode. i pray it does afterwards. give her *** a few episode confessional break. it isnt fun.
If you all had read my comments you would see that I was glad that Brandon and Jasmine weren't backing down and bowing to Cara. I've always been cool with Jasmine and the hate her kids is getting is just suck. Them people are just as bad as some of you. I don't like Brandon tho. I don't know why but I just can't F with him. Ayanna was right. I am enjoying this little rivalry this season. Good game fun it isn't that serious to me. I am just happy to have Flora on a season in 2024. This season would be perfect without the 30 Kam confessionals but what can ya do? Oh and the early Ayanna departure really took the wind out of my sails.

And yet fans didn't understand why the Ayanna/Janelle discourse was censored on the show. Now imagine the reactions if they showed everything...
Stans are weird. People are multidimensional. I can like someone but disagree with their actions. Or I can be indifferent to someone and praise them or criticize their actions. Theres more to life than just love and hate. Did I like kams and jasmines moves in the past episode? No, but it gave us something to talk about (which is what tv is all about-entertainment!) Just because I didnt agree with their actions doesnt make me a Cara fan either. Theres nobody in this franchise I would ride hard for.
except Kefla. Id ride him until the sun comes up. OOP my bad, I am trying to be good
I still haven't begun watching this season. Has it been good so far?
Its the best season so far in my opinion. Especially since u can see production is trying hard to edit around the drama. lol. AS4 cast came to play and not hold back. Plus the female side is the strongest it's been in forever.

And this right here is why the show won't be like it use to be anymore. Stans just can't handle any good tv moments when they can't handle something as simple as their favs being thrown into eliminations. They don't got to like it but it's REALLY not that serious to take it to the extreme like that.
Ok I did a re-watch and Jay says he doesn't know why Brandon wants to put Cara in "because you guys are each other's #1s." So, was it a known thing in the house that Brandon and Cara had each other like that or no? Brandon obviously later tried to downplay how close they were (but then also had a confessional where he said he wants to "salvage the friendship"), but if Jay was saying that then that concept was out there in some form.

Exactly. Brandon is too wishy washy. Which one is it? Seems like he says whatever is convenient for Him at the moment.
Imo Kam and Cara both kinda missed the mark on who Cara shouldve gave her extra star to. This format has alot of moving parts and there needs to be alot of things in alignment to get another Cara vs Rachel type of mattchup, they lucky they got a heavy hitter mattchup so early. Imo the smartest thing to do wouldve been to give it to someone with less connections like Averey or Flora, with hopes that their star would get stolen before Cara's. Even tho Jasmine is harmless she seems to have friends this season, idk I could see certain people stealing Cara star before Jasmine.
Speaking of which does anyone know Jasmine and Dereks relationship? have they interacted?

Yeah but Cara wasn't upset at Averey or Flora (the latter apparently did defend her), so no need to make new enemies.
It's also not about stealing a star necessarily -- Jasmine is a good choice because if she ends up in an elim, likely a strong girl in the winner's group would want an easy star and go down against her, thus getting Jasmine out. It's strategy mixed with revenge.
On Jasmine and Derek, according to Jemmye's recent recap, they're friends but they wouldn't ride for each other more than others.

They might as well air episode 6 too since they already screwed up when they leaked episode 5 lol
lol ms run her mouth is gonna cry and block someone?

With the way social media operates today, reality TV will never be what it once was
People just like to say vile things for a reaction. Congress has to end anonymous social media accounts.
Someone give me links to some of the comments people made about Jasmine's kids. I want to go tear into those people.

I like Cara Maria but I wanted that to happen so bad - we lost Rachel wayyyyyy to early

The editors were so messy for including that scene of Ryan& Derek laughing at Brads morning wood while he was sleeping lol
