Omg I love Eva Longoria and devious maids is my shit so I can not wait for this!!!
Devious Maids... *********! I couldn't even get past the title!
**** its soooooooooo good!!!!! I'm all about the shit on lifetime!
you should be all about the shit on showtime!!!
I just checked out the premiere to The Affair and i'm LOVING it!!! It's True Detective meets Gone Girl.... split into two narratives/perspectives of the guy and the girl in said affair, the story is told through a series of recollections over one summer in the hamptons. On vacation for a few months, "the guy" and his entire family have come to stay at his father-in-laws oceanside mansion in hopes of bringing them all closer together.... still mourning the loss of her recently deceased son, "the girl" and her sometimes abusive husband try to repair their rocky relationship.... when the two protagonists stories converge at a diner, the real drama begins. What starts as innocent flirtations, will soon turn into much, much more... and a few years later, when the police are are interviewing them for an as-of-yet unknown crime (present day), their affair is brought to the forefront of the investigation. There are always three sides to every story... his... hers... and the truth. Check it out!!! I think it's gonna be really good

Not sure what to make of this. Last I heard, you weren't too impressed with TD.
Only saying that in the sense that its two protagonists telling the story to feds and each recounting their perspectives of an event that occurred... and how the past always comes back to bite you in the ***... (at least thats what I got from the pilot of TD :P)

I watched the premiere of The Affair and I love it!!!!! I want more!!!! Haha!!! Thanks again!!! The first episode was awesome I am hooked. But OMG pacey from Dawsons Creek though!!!
Edit**
Woahhh!! They are showing the first episode tonight!? Nooooooo!!!!! I have to wait until next Sunday???? Noooooo!!!! Why mitch? Why did you get me into this so early!!!
hahaha sorrry!!! yeah im pretty sad about it too.... ill probs just watch the premiere all over again cause why not :P... gonna try to get everyone into it! I wonder what the crime was... and what the affair has to do with it!! It looks like the police investigation is happening a good two or three years after the events of the show... the grave said 2012, so I think thats when the events of the show take place... which, if the investigation is present, would make it two years... but it could also be in the future of our time as well

Ahhh I know I am so interested in what the crime is!! I really hope it's something we find out this season! I'm definitely rewatching episode 1. It was too good!
yeah not sure how i feel about that... maybe they'll just have a killer but you wont ever see him? or he just wont have the iconic mask? i don't know... maybe if it gets picked up for a full series they can aquire the rights and reshoot the pilot before it airs in the summer
Resident Evil was awful. I read the first book of the Mortal Instruments and I didn't like it. Also pass on both of them.
Does anyone even watch Resident Evil? I roll my eyes anytime there's a trailer attached to a movie I go see...
I heard the Mortal Instruments movie SUCKED. Maybe it's better suited for TV, I couldn't care less.
Underworld is the only one I may consider giving a shot to, but even then werewolves and vampires have been exhausted almost to the point of no return. I guess it depends on the network in charge and who's at the helm. Still leaning towards a pass.
Hah! Look at this idiot bashing David Fincher. His version of the show is going to shit on the original.
Anywho, I'm really **** excited for the HBO version (2016 is so far away!), and I think I'll watch the original in the meantime. Here's the season one opener for anyone interested:
It's based on the MaddAddam trilogy which consists of Oryx and Crake, The Year of the Flood, and MaddAddam (definitely on my list of near-future reads). It's right up Aronofsky's alley. It's everything: romance, drama, mystery, dystopia, science fiction (genetic engineering, etc), politics. It's a chaotic mess!
The story takes place in not-too-distant future, in a sociopolitical environment where corporations have usurped government as humanity’s overlords. Pigs are bred to provide replacement organs for human beings, pornographic enterprise runs rampant, executions are staged on live television, and genetic splicing is all the rage. It’s a trans-human/post-human yarn filled with all kinds of weird imagery. There’s even a “waterless flood” and a near-apocalypse that occurs at some point during the trilogy’s span.

I always have faith in HBO, haha! Ever since that first season of True Blood, I've been captivated. The memories...
I recorded The Affair, but I didn't get a chance to watch it last night as I was watching Homeland and Revenge. Walking Dead is also waiting for me to watch tonight!
Anyone still watching Homeland? I really like Season 4 so far. It's SO refreshing with a new story (and secrets!) unfolding rather than the one that they dragged out of the first three seasons. This show always keeps me on the edge of my seat and they started right up with the action the first minute of episode one.
HBO has some good shows on development, especially Westworld.
I forgot about Westworld! I love HBO so much. <3
Since I completely forgot that this show was in the works, I decided to do some research and catch up on any deets I may have missed over the past few months, haha!
Set in a present day dystopian world the Shannara family, whose descendants have ancient magic, go on adventures that continuously reshape the future of the world. Based on the Terry Brooks books of the same name.
With TBA.
Shoots Jan. 19, 2015–April 19, 2015 in New Zealand.
Produced by Sonar Entertainment. Airs on MTV.
Casting at 6565 Sunset Blvd., Ste. 516, Los Angeles, CA 90028.
Filming starts in January and it's taking place in New Zealand! Not surprising, but still. I really hope MTV has given this the budget it needs to compete with GoT. Susanne Daniels must be confident in the script, especially since the show was able to bypass the pilot stage. Hopefully it pays off, MTV is a dying network and it desperately needs these numbers.

I know it's selfish of me, but I want everything to flop on MTV just so The Real World and The Challenge can last longer.

Hahaha, you're bad!! Look at it this way: MTV is putting a lot of faith into this show, if it brings in the ratings they're hoping for then more viewers will see the challenge and RW advertisements. As a result, more viewers will be inclined to watch them.

Take with a grain of salt, but it's looking like GhostFace will NOT be present during season one of MTV's Scream.
Edit: There were never plans for the ghostface mask to appear in season one.
Awwwwww booooooo.
