Just finished my paper, now I can't sleep, and so watching the dailies like the good reality ho I am.
Oh Robin. I can't even dislike her anymore. I just feel very sorry for her. Did anyone catch that while she was talking/slurring to Ashli, her mouth was foaming up at one point? And in more than one daily, she keeps rubbing at her nose? Flashback to my club days, when the worst of my crew would drink and drug up to the point of sloppiness and loss of body space perception.
She looks to be in the worst mental shape I've ever seen of anyone on this show. And she hit Dan? Don't they have some sort of "no physical violence" clause? Or does the one who gets hit decide whether someone goes home? Those two are certainly a trainwreck of a "couple" to watch.
I don't think Ashli went off on Robin because she perceives Robin as weak. She seems like someone who would go off on anyone who makes her angry. It sounds like Robin spoke to her rudely and/or was out of line, and just didn't get it because she's always so wasted. It also seemed, to me at least, that Ashli is over Robin and Dan and their wasted bullshit.
BUT!!! Most importantly...
Didn't anyone else notice, while Robin was Whiskey Marying to Ashli and Ashli was bansheeing to Robin, Tyrie dancing in background? By himself! No music. Randomly!

The producers normally ask the affected person about any violence. In this case, I doubt they even bothered -- we may know on Wednesday's episode -- but since Dan is also "hitting" Robin, why would they want to stop that story line? If it's good TV, you can trust they will look the other way if they can. It's all about ratings.

I don't like Ev's negative attitude. She's a stick in the mud. I know KA is supposedly a very nice girl.... but I can't bring myself to like her on this show. Everything she says is with such attitude.

Oh, come on! Evelyn is having a quiet, reasoned, private discussion with Kelly Anne, away from the others, and we are seeing only a brief clip of that conversation with no context attached. Everything she is saying about Robin is true, but she is not making a big deal out of it in front of everyone. She is making the point that she and Kelly Anne can not trust Robin (who we recently saw obviously pretending to be nice to Evelyn in a previous daily).

You aren't seeing it because BMP doesn't want you to see it, but it's no surprise to the people on The Island.
The first tier alliance is Johnny, Kenny, Paula and Johanna. The surrounding alliance includes Derrick via Abram who was an original member, Dunbar (via Paula), Dan (via Johnny) and Robin (via Derrick). Ryan is loosely attached (as Paula's real life roommate) but really does try to be friendly with everyone.

Matty, I'm glad you asked about Colie. I would have counted her in the first extension of the alliance beyond Paula, Johnny, Kenny and Johanna, but Colie was asleep and I didn't see her... (actually those are Derrick's words about Colie, and I've stolen them.)

Well, if Kenny is a liar then so am I, because Evelyn and I started talking about snakes when she was still a Hofstra student at about Inferno 3 time. (I'm no snake fan, but they do often taste like chicken).

Interestingly enough, there also appears to be nutritional literature suggesting that women take longer to recover from caloric deprivation than do men.
Do you think that BMP considered anything about the medical issues regarding caloric intake in their design of the challenge or that competent medical people or the insurance company signed off on it? Color me curious this morning... ;)
