The Context:
The Gauntlet III: Melinda and Tori have been voted into the gauntlet by their team, the rookies. Frank and Jillian have already each been in 3 gauntlets for a a total of 6 gauntlets. Tori and Melinda have been in a grand total of 0 gauntlets. They have been using their alliance with fellow weak team members Johanna and Rachel, in order to avoid any semblance of competition.
Melinda and Tori have both been crying, throwing temper tantrums, threatening to throw challenges if they come back, and sabotage their own teams.
The Quote: Melinda says something like: "Congratulations! You just voted your 2 strongest female team members into the gauntlet!"
The Aftermath: Frank Singlehandedly leads his team through the final, even after Johanna, Tori, and company had been attempting to kick him off the team every episode. In the final Frank completes the puzzles and does most of the physical work himself.
At the reunion show, Evan the opposing team leader, and the show villain, even admits that Frank carried his entire rookie team. He points out that Frank dug up their treasure chest, while the rookies who attempted to vote him off every week sat on the beach watching. Evan says mtv edited this footage out of the episode. Then Evan concludes that Frank deserves at least 100,000 for his efforts.
