She has a friend who is also filming a reality show so maybe she got connections.
And how would you know this?
She is connected. Pay attention to Kate D. I am.
I'm really dissapointed that they chose Cancun as the location for the next season. I can only think of the show going back to the same trend that started after RW- Las Vegas. I know that the city they choose doesn't determine completely the interaction that the cast members are going to have, but in this case the city that was chosen will definitely play a key role on how things play out in this season. When you send these guys to a resort, it's clear that there's not going too much for them to do other than partying and drinking. Also, I'm dissapointed because I've always wanted them to film RW in either Washington, DC or Puerto Rico and it doesnt seem like this will ever happen :/.

DC is the #1 candidate for the next RW.
Cancun diffidently wouldn't be a city I would like to do TRW at. Its more of a city where is nice to stay for a few days, because besides partying and beach there isn't much to do.

People have been murdered and killed over there. Have you read the articles?
I think Real World should make it more racially equal... different races would be interesting I think, I could see groups forming and good discussions coming from it... Hollywood had 5 black people in total, and to me was the most entertaining season... I know it sounds stupid trying to equate having black people on that season was the reason it was entertaining, but I definitely feel it helped having more of a balance I hope Cancun is more balanced racially
Oh, so they're staying at 8?
Oh, so they're staying at 8?
It would be cool if they switched the original number of housemates from to 7 to 8.

I hope this season they have a girl that should be in the Bad Girls Club LOL. One with A LOT of attitude. Idk just to spice things up.
It would be cool if they switched the original number of housemates from to 7 to 8.
I'd really like it if they switched to 8, but I think some cast members would hardly have airtime.
I'd really like it if they switched to 8, but I think some cast members would hardly have airtime.
It is 8 currently and will continue to be as explained by producers before Brooklyn started. Since the episodes being an hour they have time to show 2 or 3 different storylines per episode.
I'd really like it if they switched to 8, but I think some cast members would hardly have airtime.
Yeah, that's true but each episode has a cast member being left out anyway (as far as the storyline goes).
Yeah, that's true but each episode has a cast member being left out anyway (as far as the storyline goes).
But even when we had a 7 person season there was always one person who was in the shadows each week. I think it has more to do with how much the person had to do with the general story line of the week and not the amount of cast members.

In addition to that, adding another person can bring more to the storylines.
I hate the 8 castmembers. It throws off the balance of the show. I just hope Cancun won't be edited like Brooklyn and have a divide between the girls and guys.

Lots of diversity + craziness... hell, it's Cancun.
Are we talking Bad Girls Club craziness where the cast members fight with each other every hour?
oh hell no we are BEYOND that craziness in this thread lol.
lol exactly. I think they could have put the Brooklyn cast in Cancun and things may have been slightly different. I believe the atmosphere has a lot to do with it. I mean in NY, at least you can follow some genuine ambition. In Cancun... oh gee, we can either go to a) the beach b) the bar/club Either way, it's going to be a crazy season... lots of similar personalities. When similar personalities are put together in a house what happens? Clashing.

I also believe you folks are going to get more of your info as spring breakers stop by Cancun and see the cast for themselves.... so I guess you can prep yourself for then too ;)
Jonna is mixed with spanish and something else last I remembered.
Are BMP already in the middle of filming the Real world Cancun?
Are BMP already in the middle of filming the Real world Cancun?
Yes. Already a month and a half into filming.
Yes. Already a month and a half into filming.
Is there a reason why we haven't gotten any really substantial pictures in a month and a half of filming. We had all 8 of Brooklyn's castmembers within a week or 2. Why has it taken so long to get any photos?

We'll just have to wait for the spring breakers that were not so foolish as to sign any paperwork during their stay to start filtering information and photos back...

Spring break starts this week for some colleges at least (don't know about all)
Yes. Already a month and a half into filming.
Wow, I thought BMP usually waits to film the real world in between the summer and fall. I guess they're trying to take advantage of the spring break madness for cancun.
