Well I live in NY, and everyone I know (including myself), just started spring break week this week. We are in College. It all depends on the school, and state.

Didn't V1 say they were ending filming soon?

Er...all my friends did that my senior year. I wasn't allowed to go. :p

haha Paper, my parents didn't let me watch MTV till I was 17! So yes, I had to sneak and do it when they weren't home or at a friends house...

I know it is big for high schoolers to go there for senior trips after you graduate not spring break. So what is the big spoiler!?! Someone pregnant by some spring breaker? Also it seems that the last couple of seasons, we hear that filming ended early bc something happened. What is the deal with that?

Usually seasons that have a lot of drama end early because the producers have enough footage to produce enough storylines for the show.

Most last 4 or longer. Plus V did mention something a loooong time ago about the season ending early.

Brooklyn was probably the closest with 3 1/2 months and that's because there wasn't enough good footage.

What ever happened to 4 1/2 month filming or longer? I know RW: NY filmed for 3 months but after that it was like 4 1/2 to 5 months! Here recently like the last 7 or so seasons the time has been cut way down!

RW is a very expensive reality show to shoot, especially when the costs of a few houses have recently exceeded the budget by as much as $500,000. That alone is sufficient incentive to shut down production, although money is not the most significant issue in Cancun.

So what is the average filming length for the real world?
