I ask because last time they did a casting call for the real world 24 in washington dc
They've done more than one call in DC and they've done more than one call in lots of cities. Just because they've been to a city doesn't mean they won't go again. They may or may not do a casting call for Washington DC this season. We can't be so sure until they post it on the website. As for your question, "Would they have casting calls in DC again?" -- yes. They potentially would. Will they?--check the website often! We don't know ;) Also, a lot of the questions you asked have been answered before/ over and over again, make sure you read through all the other pages. You'll find out a lot!

No problem.
five months?
For the rest of that article...check out this link: ‘The Real World’ casting directors coming to Oklahoma City April 3 | Television Blog I'm very pleased to see a lot of things on this list that we've posted on this website as things we want to see. If BMP is smart, they need to go through these forums and look at the suggestions that several people have posted as there have been many great ideas!
I'm pretty excited for casting calls to be starting up.
I'm pretty excited for casting calls to be starting up.
I can only agree!

Still none around me yet. I doubt I'd ever get picked, I want to go to a casting more for the experience and fun of it.
Still none around me yet. I doubt I'd ever get picked, I want to go to a casting more for the experience and fun of it.
Same here, but I'm sure it will be listed eventually, I live in a pretty big city. I think I have a shot, it's good to be confident and such. And yeah, a casting call seems far more exciting than sending a tape or e-mail. It's like a first hand in-depth look.
Hey guys! I am trying out for the Real World this year as I did last year. I would love to know y'alls story and/or experiences trying out. Last year I went to a casting call and filled out an app. This year someone CALLED ME! And wants to meet up with me at another casting call! I'm super excited and was wondering how far y'all have all gotten!
Quick question when that say on the website THE REAL WORLD IS HOLDING OPEN CASTING CALLS IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS. I was wondering out of curiosity, could someone audition being 17 as long as they're 18 by time filming starts? My friend's birthday is the third week of April, and our city date for casting calls hasn't been announced yet. She is concerned on whether or not she'll be able to try out.
If your not 21, don't even bother. They rarely accept anyone under 21.
The site says 18-24, and I like the odds of rare better than none at all. Plus, it's not certain that the show will continue past season 26, me and her won't be 21 by then. Might as well have at it.
If your not 21, don't even bother. They rarely accept anyone under 21.
that's not necessarily true. They've picked a good amount of people under 21. No one should ever be discouraged because they're under 21. I say go for it! :D
in the first (15?) seasons, there were alot of people under 21. i recall Wes being 19. lately, the cast memebers have been at least 20, such as Jonna, Brianna, Greg, and Devyn.

Being 20 is still under 21 so that supports the fact that they do choose people under 21. Emily from DC didn't turn 21 until a little while ago. Well after filming finished.

Nehemiah was also 19! as well as Svetlana, Tricia, and Cameran. I bet since they havn't had anyone on the show who was 18, or 19 in a long time that there more likely to cast someone of those age ranges this season. I'd like to see someone fresh out of high school, that would be interesting seeing them adapt.
I'd like to see someone fresh out of high school, that would be interesting seeing them adapt.
Same here. :p hahah. The interview on previous pages says "recent graduates affected from economic downturn." So hopefully that applies to high school grads. haha I'd love to see a high school grad standing up to people two to four or so years older then them. :p

Most 18, 19, and 20 year olds are boring and have little life experience. People who are 21 to 22 just want to party and finish up college. People ages 22 to 26 are in transition to becoming an adult. So what would be more interesting would be to see an 18 year old paired with someone who is 25-26.
What page was that on?
Top of page 27.
I'm 19..turning 20 in 19 days :) .. but I just got an email saying I advanced to the 2nd round, how , idk, I jokingly wrote to them 3 months ago haha........ from the questions they asked me to fill out and send back, it seems like it would be more a serious season, they dont really ask much about drinking or anything. I haven't read all 30 of these pages but is that the rumor...season 25 a serious one?? Who else advanced and is going through with it??

I wanted to audition for this season, but I don't turn 18 til July 2nd. I'm getting ready to graduate high school and I have plenty of life experience. I practically raised my teenage sister and have been supporting myself completely for the past 6 months. It kind of sucks, but I think I would be interesting on the Real World. Someone here should try to talk to the producers about me auditioning... haha. but, seriously.
If your not 21, don't even bother. They rarely accept anyone under 21.
i made it to round three season 23 and i had just turned 19, so not true:)
