What does that have to do with anything?
I havent heard or seen nobody thats was on the real world since I think the real world L.A I forgot the guy name that was from dc I think his name was david or something and other thin that I havent seen nobody else from dc I wonder is the next real world show is going to have a dc person. I remeber on the real world website I didnt have Washington DC as one of thier RECRUITING city but now they do which is a very good thing
Where you're from has absolutely nothing to do with anything.

I thought we went over this already... if they hated DC so much they would not have had a season there. Just because they haven't had someone from DC since the 2nd season, doesn't mean they don't cast anyone from there. It just means no one from your city has been interesting enough to make it on the show. Denver's Stephen was from Sacramento, CA, but he was attending school in DC just before coming out to Denver. I don't know if you want to count that.
Has any member been casted from Vevmo?
hey if a situation occured where I gave my tape to a producer face to face do you think that would inprove my chances?
Has any member been casted from Vevmo?
Not from Vevmo, but I'm trying to remember who was a member at Tubescan way back and eventually made either Real World or Road Rules... I want to say Tina or Jeremy from South Pacific... But I'm actually not 100% sure. Obviously they weren't regular members, but they have posted at TS before as a fan prior to being casted.
I think I remember reading somewhere that Evelyn was an "online gamer" before she was cast on Fresh Meat and was apart of several fan boards.

I never said they hated DC. ON a website I read they were going to do a show in dc when they get a Democratic president
hey if a situation occured where I gave my tape to a producer face to face do you think that would improve my chances?
No. They are looking for people who can follow basic rules. If the rules say send your tape in, you should send your tape in. If the rules say your tape should be no more than 5 minutes, it should be less than 5 minutes. If the paperwork says fill out every question, you should probably fill out every question. It's very easy to rule out probably half of the people who send in tapes because they can't follow simple directions.

Wonder where real world 25 going be at hope they do something for Haiti. I may do something on the real world 24 for Haiti
Has anyone sent a email and got one back? If so, how long did it took?
How long does it take from them to call you back from a casting tape? How does the casting tape thing work anyway do they look at it thin they call you in two weeks how does that go?
How long does it take from them to call you back from a casting tape?
Anywhere from a few weeks after you send the tape in, to never. In 99 of 100 cases, it is never. ;)
Some people are so discouraging! Um it took them 7months to get back to me. I sent mine in late february and got the packet/round2 part in october =) good luck

i know that they have all these places on their website, but where do they inform people of open calls.
i know that they have all these places on their website, but where do they inform people of open calls.
They update their website with the cities they will be in for open calls as it gets closer to the date. If you have Twitter, you might want to follow them. When they added new cities, they announced it.

how do you get a skype interview instead of a phone one?

ok question....do they pay for things when they are filming... like for example food...or do you buy your own things....i know they pay for like final interviews in LA but what else do they pay for or like i said you payfor everyhting when your livivng in the house and they're filming....cuz i never see any one pay for anything in a store or any other palce. so if someone can answer this id gladly appreciate it.. thanks
Is it even worth it to apply to be on Real World via email? Has anyone done this and made it past the first round? What happens if they like the email? It just seems like a lot more sense to send in a tape.
You can do both. My sister did A tape one year and an email the next. She made it to the finals on both times. However, it takes a little while longer when you send a tape, or at least in her case it did.
I see. So, do they email you back soon after you email them with a VIP pass if you'll get one or do they wait until it's close to the casting calls?
