Real World 25 - Casting

No one seemed to answer my original question on whether or not if you're 18 by time filming starts if you could still audition. Auditions are all of April, and my friend turns 18 the third week of April. :p Would she still be able to audition? I've seen on other websites that if your 24 by time filming starts, and you turn 25 the next day you're still eligible. Anyone know if this applies for 17 to 18? thanks. :D

I'm only 18 and I just got an email back with them saying they liked me and they sent me a quick pass thing for an open casting in Philly. :) Wish me luck.

Which means one generally trying to get into the casting process should focus more on political, religious, and social views? etc. etc.

Is via email a pretty effective way to get noticed?? I was considering goin to an open casting call, but if emailing is just as legit I might just do that... any suggestions??

And to the other post, I dont think email the best way to contact, but I sent in an email instead of a tape around December. So the email was basically telling me that I can cut the line at the casting call.

I just checked my email and I sent mine sometime in November and realized I sent it to [email]rwcasting@bunim-murray.com[/email] should I resend it to the other email or are both emails active? My email for season 24 was sent to [email]rwcasting@bunim-murray.com[/email], but my email for season 25 which I got a vip response back for was [email]casting@bunim-murray.com[/email]. I think you sent yours to the email for last season.

I really think that to turn the drama up on season 25, they should get 1 or 2 people who are trying out for Bad Girls club and offer them a spot on real world. Especially on a more "serious" season like this one it would balance out better if they had a really horrible person on there with 6 "almost normal" people.

Nah it just means they like you on paper, doesn't mean they'll like you in person.
