Is Michael Phelps really retiring after this? I surely hope not.
70 days to go, anyone else extremely excited?
Not extremely excited, but I always enjoy watching the Olympics. There are always lots of feel good stories. London should be a great location.
Things that really interest me: Ussain Bolt Things that are moderately interesting: Michael Phelps' last Olympics US vs Spain in basketball Things that I will watch if I am bored: Everything else
I like when the Summer Olympic comes on because there isn't really anything else to watch during the Summer...
I don't really get up for the Olympics before hand. However, I do end up watching. My only hope is that NBC stays away from excessive use of tape delay this time around. Maybe they will finally realize there is this thing called the internet that offers results live...

I LOVE the Summer Olympics! My family goes crazy haha, we wear our USA flags, chant, and go crazy! It's inspiring to watch great stories, and also root for our country!
Did you know the reason why marathons are 26 miles is because at the 1908 London Olympics the bosses wanted the race to start at Windsor Castle and end at the stadium, so they extended it from 25 to 26 miles and from then on it has been.

I'm excited for women's beach volleyball. I love me some Misty-May and Kerri Walsh.

I love the Olympics but there really isn't a person I am rooting for going into it. I like the odd sports.
I'm excited for women's beach volleyball. I love me some Misty-May and Kerri Walsh.
Treanor for the win. For me, I'm interested in Swimming, Track and Field and thats about it.
Treanor for the win. I also like sports like fencing and badmitten just as a reminder that we could all theoretically be Olympians some day.
I always found fencing to be violent. Maybe if I was a Mensa student my opinion would change, lol.

Of course I'll be rooting for US women's soccer too. I need to watch Hope Solo win the gold. I guess I'm of the few that is excited, I already wrote on my car rooting for the U.S.

I've never really been one for sports or the Olympics, but I may tune in here and there this Summer when nothing else is on.
I love watching the Olympics. I love watching the diving events because it amazes me how people jump from 10 meters and make little to no splash. Funny. I was in the UK last time the Olympics took place, and now they are going to London.

The Olympic Torch came through my town today, everyone was out on the streets cheering, very exiting.

We were right at the end of the relay so the torchbearer had stopped running, the officials took his flame and went off to the next town. The last picture is the guy being mobbed.
