Wes over Timmy......:laugh2:
Also, Kendal>Ruthie. Ruthie was GREAT on the BOTS 1, but did nothing after that. Kendal would of been more consistantly good than Ruthie if she done more challenges, not to mention she would defeat Ruthie in an elimination round for sure because she was stronger, and just as mentally tough(if you remember the Military mission on Campus Crawl, plus her elimination round against Leah you'd know).
And Tonya>Johanna.
Am I the only one who thinks Timmy is a really good competitor? I think Timmy from circa Inferno 1 would do very well against the top challenge competitors at their peak.
No you're not. Timmy is a top 5 competitor all time.
The theme title "Challenge Madness" is very fitting if you know what i mean......Landon beats CT?????

This is definitely a popularity contest. Laurel over Jodi?! All the other one's seem a bit right but it was a little shocking to see Alton fall to Derrick, and personally I felt a sting when Susie knocked out Coral but whatevs. Landon taking out CT was epic but I wish I could really see that matchup.
If one person in the tournament deserved to beat CT, it was Landon, as it is totally plausible. It'll be a huge joke if Miz ends up winning it just because of his current popularity as a pro wrestler.

In a puzzle or something where chance would play a big role. In a pure physical match, CT would win without question. I also believe Darrell and Alton can take out Landon, especially Darrell. Base on right now, CT would win this tournament, with Landon, Alton, Darrell taking either 2nd, 3rd, and fourth place. The Miz is probably on steroids now, so it wouldn't be fair, plus he's been out of the game for years.
Also, Jamie(RW New Orleans) and Dan(RR Northern Trail) should be on those brackets, they are challenge legends. People need to ****** up the older seasons, they are ignorant of a couple of competitors and their strengths.

If anyone knows what is totally plausible, it would be townie who at least knows CT personally.

I'm not too educated on this, but i think that is a strawman argument. Just because he/she knows CT, means that they know he can beat Landon or not? CT has clearly shown to be stronger than Landon on several occasions, not to mention a more rounded competitor.

townie has, from what I have gathered, heard lots of things that CT has said that you have not, including his personal thoughts on Landon and other competitors.
However, I am not here to have you get into (another) argument about who is stronger than who.
We can't discredit Miz for the stuff he's done. Aside from the Trishelle **** from Gauntlet 1, he was always on his game, despite only winning 2 out of 5. Yeah he had that one DQ early in BOTS2, but he's still been consistent throughout. Just as an example, he pretty much single handedly won Battle of the Seasons for Real World.

Care to share townie?

I'd take Miz over Landon in a elimination round, unless climbing was involved. :)

Jodi might be a strong competitor, but she always seems to lose her cool easily. Remember when she lost the Inferno to Veronica? She won the Duel, but she never went into a Duel once, and she completely fell apart when it came to the puzzle--she only moved on because of the time limit. Laurel beating her is not surprising. Susie beating Coral, on the other hand, kind of blows. I feel like we've only ever seen Susie against lackluster competitors.
I like the podcast idea, but Derrick as the host I do not. He doesn't seem to practice at all or be able to run a conversation. He uses a lot of Uh's and i think if Mark had this same thing with Johnny as guest it would be a ton better. Johnny is very entertaining as a co-host though. Derrick also forgets a lot what he wanted to say, like write down some questions before buddy come on. Mark probably would get some good guests too.
Thanks to jhl182 for the pics. The better days of the Challenges are long since past - that's for sure. It seems like it was a legitimately fun atmosphere and I think it translated for a fun show for the viewers to watch. It was also compelling to watch people who we had not previously seen interact with each other in front of a camera. The extent to which they recycle cast members and storylines now-a-days is so boring and played out.
Yeah so Landon beat Miz, Kenny beat Derrick (...), Ev beat Susie, and Laurel beat Rachel.
If Kenny and Laruel win this...
Just a question..... Why would anyone care?
Just a question..... Why would anyone care?
It's not as if the winner gets anything, it's just more of a what the main fanbase is becoming type of thing. I like having older people who've seen the old ones, but it looks like most of those are gone. That's what I'm saying.

I agree completely. Also, it's kind of surreal looking at pictures of the camera crews filming the cast members. The Evan/Coral picture especially. I forget that these people are actually being filmed and it has to be somewhat annoying to have that giant camera in their face when they're having a conversation.
I also love seeing all those old faces. Elka! B2NY Rachel! Kendal! CC Eric! Good times.
I don't think anyone on these challenges mind it a bit!
Wel they all had practice from Real World/Road Rules so I can see them being totally cool with it.

True, and I also think some don't mind the attention lol.

It is the nature of the employment. They sign a contract to appear on a TV show as "at will" contract players. The only thing real about it is that there will be cameras to capture all the dramatic, intimate moments.
Random Challenge Moment: Remember when Tonya slaped the **** out of Veronica on The Ruins?
Saw The Ruins a few months ago for the first time, that was pretty funny. I still remember Veronica kept on saying "Lets call a spade a spade!!" I still want to know what was said that was soooooo bad that it can't be spoken again.

Yeah I wanna know that but nobody is willing to spill the beans so whatever.
But Honestly Despite the fact that Tonya does make herself a target for humiliation and has done some ****** things on these shows. Veronica did kinda have that coming to her IMO.

Does no one remember the scenes from earlier in The Ruins where it was Veronica who was taking care of Tonya? I mean it doesn't make up for her being mean to Tonya before that, but certainly it indicates a change of heart. I find it hard to believe that Veronica, after taking care of Tonya that whole time, would attack her out of the blue without Tonya saying something first.
I think Tonya being on the Ruins was an unfortunate situation. I really like her. I liked her in her season. I cannot really explain why, but I respected that she seemed to be dealing with more practical real world issues than most cast members were. The Challenges always seemed a struggle for her emotionally for some reason. The Ruins seemed to have such a vicious atmosphere amongst the cast from Day 1 that Tonya was as doomed as Humpty Dumpty in an Egg-Beaters Factory I guess.
