For the challenges, any fantasy tournament organized by seeding that has a potential Landon/CT matchup taking place when there are 8 guys left is carelessly organized. Also, looking at the seedings for the second round and seeing a 10 next to the Miz means that Noor was a 7 seed for the first round. How is Noor, who competed in 1 challenge and wasn't even that impressive, seeded higher than somebody like Mike who was a solid competitor over the course of several challenges? Why is Abe a #1 seed over Alton, or even a #1 seed period? I would've given given the #1 and #2 seeds in the Gaunlet and Inferno portions to Landon, CT, Evan, and Alton. Anyways, for this round, here is how I voted GUYS Landon over Brandon CT over Theo Evan over Tyler Darrell over Mike Mark over Abe Kenny over Johnny Wes over Derrick Alton over Brad GIRLS Rachel over Sarah Emily over Jenn Tori over Jodi Laurel over Ruthie Evelyn over Veronica Kelly Anne over Jillian Paula over Coral Susie over Johanna

Abram sort of made Alton look pretty pedestrian on the Inferno 3 in my opinion. I don't think it's cut and dry either way but I think there's a definite argument for Abram over Alton.

Dude... Abe's never come close to dominating a challenge individually the way guys like Landon, Alton, CT, and Evan have. Those guys have done multiple shows where they were a top performer overall or a top performer on their team in over half the challenges. You just don't think of Abe the same way as those guys as being somebody who is going to excel at that level day in and day out. I mean, CT is a #4 seed in his region and he was far and away much more dominant than Abe on both Inferno shows they competed on together. Just doesn't make sense.

Just doesn't make sense.[/QUOTE] On I3, Abe was consistent and Alton was not. That is the only challenge those two have done together. And no, the seeding thing doesn't make all that much sense, but I think you're taking it a little too serious. Besides, Abe has never really been a poor competitor. With the last few challenges he's done, he's been a major player, even in The Island. He only went home on that one because he asked to and Derrick and Johnny only beat him because they teamed up together. The only thing that happened to him that would decrease his standing is his malfunction and getting sick on the Cutthroat finale. And if I follow your standards and rules about ranking... Derrick and Johnny got beat in the martini mission by Abe and LAUREL. So, if gender wasn't involved, would Derrick and Johnny be ranked behind Laurel? No. I don't think so.

This discussion about the seeding and brackets is about as futile as a list of the best competitors ever. It's all arbitrary and subjective to ill-advised new generation fans. It's not worth stressing over.

Noor's a 7th seed? ****

Abe didn't do very well on Gauntlet 1 or Inferno 1 compared to the other guys; which included Alton on Gauntlet 1. On Inferno 2, he never won any Life Shields either. Is Derrick the one that put this bracket together? Seems like the bracket that he and his cronies Kenny and Johnny are in is much easier and it also seems like he seeded himself and those two pretty generously too compared to how some other guys are seeded.

I think Derrick is seeded pretty appropriately in his...I would actually have made Alton 1 and him 2. I think CT as a 4 is pretty unfair, but Derrick is high on Darrell and Evan on the podcasts. It's not really that serious though. I think if anything he should've had the fans rank them and take the average ranking for each person and go off of that, but that process would have taken a lot longer.

Am I the only one who thinks Timmy is a really good competitor? I think Timmy from circa Inferno 1 would do very well against the top challenge competitors at their peak.

He's actually won one, not to say he hasn't done well in most of them, but he's won one out of four. He was great on Inferno 1, but Gauntlet 2 he slipped a bit and then was just too broken down on Inferno 3. Be that as it may, I still voted him in round 1.

If you are going to be a number 1 or even a 2 seed you have to have won something in my opinion. You aren't number 1 or 2 if you can't back it up with wins.

I'm not really putting any stock in it, it's a fun little thing that Derrick just put together.

I try not to jump on the "I don't like so and so" bandwagon, but Chet is a little annoying. He really is condescending and a know-it-all. I did like him on his season, but he seemed to get more pompous as the years went by. I never really watched the after show, but I can already see him stopping people mid-sentance to add his two cents in.

Going back to Derrick's tournament, he has some really screwy selections, especially on the women's side. That side is so watered down compared to what it could've been. You could have people like Svetlana, Brittini, Aneesa, and Tina in there instead of people like Katelynn, Mandi, Aviv, and Carley. Svetlana and Brittini took second place on the only two individual challenges that there's been, Aneesa is very tough in elimination rounds, and I think Tina has proven more in her past challenges than those four chicks combined. Plus, he has two people (Jamie and Kendal) that I only recall doing one challenge. That Christena chick from Inferno 1 only did one challenge and she was better than both those chicks in my opinion plus that Holly chick from Inferno 1 was a beast too. She did better than most of the guys on her team that season.

As I said, there was definitely some personal bias in there but the better chunk of it was done right.

Yeah I'd think guys like him, Eric Neis, and even David Burns should've been included in there over people like Luke, Ty, and that scrub hack Danny.
