FM2 head start involved a canoe. You could start a conspiracy theory that production wanted Landon and Laurel to win because they are used to kayaking while Jenn, Noor, Pete and Jill don't.
Production wanted both Landon and Laurel to win? Or did they want Landon or Laurel?
Here are the challenges from the Duel. I went on wikipedia. The ones that took place on land are normal, the ones that took place over the water (not on land) are underlined, and the ones that had a swimming element to it are bolded. Reaching Out Ring Toss Pass With Care Roller Derby Push Over Flying Leap Russian Swing Rafty Race Pole Dance Dine-N-Dash Stacking Stairs Ice Breakers Sunken Treasure Around The Block Paddle Me As you can see, many of the challenges were based in the water, not just the last 2 Male Duel day challenges. And think about this, there is a reason why the first challenges were first and the last challenges were last. You can't do Sunken Treasure or Paddle Me with 20 competitors. Sunken Treasure would just take too long and Paddle Me would be too crowded. Think about what it would have been like if 10 seperate surf boards were trying to get to the Island. Challenges like Ring Toss and Pass With Care can be done with many people because they are technically quick challenges. Basically, the challenges are predetermined because it would be stupid to freestyle or randomize the challenge order. That's called not being organized which can lead to problems. And why are you insisting that BMP wanted Wes to win? What's so good about him? Who said that CT would have picked Push Me and gotten disqualified. Who said that if CT did go to the final, he would have won? Wes would have probably gotten the 2 minute head start over CT anyway. And last but certainly not least. Who said that The Duel would have lost ratings if it was CT vs. Brad/Wes in the final? Who would watch the whole season and then all of a sudden decide not to watch the last episode just because CT was in the final. Think about what you're saying dude.
Pass with care, push over and flying leap don't really count! Yes they where over water, but water really wasn't a factor at all.
Pass with care, push over and flying leap don't really count! Yes they where over water, but water really wasn't a factor at all.
Uh dude...he didn't say they do. He just said that they were OVER water, not over land, and not IN water. There are still plenty of other challenges that involved swimming that were not at the very end.
Inferno 3.
I agree. I hardly remember it.
Uh dude...he didn't say they do. He just said that they were OVER water, not over land, and not IN water.
Inferno 3.
I liked the Inferno 3. The cast was average to good, Derrick was a replacement which added to my liking, there was some pretty good Infernos (Smash House, Watch Your Back, Corner Ball), Jenn did well on her rookie challenge, and there was drama within both teams (Susie and Cara vs. Paula and the guys then Ev vs. Aneesa and her whole knee issue). The Gauntlet 3 for me was the most boring. The only standout moments were the Pinata Pit and I Dig You missions, the Rookies overtaking the final, and Beth vs. Coral which, IMO was boring and not even that great.

Ironically, I was in Brazil when it was filming and I don't remember seeing Mtv at all there. The cable is completely different there. Gauntlet 3 was a snooze fest, I agree. Even Beth being there was more annoying than entertaining. The finale was the only part that really stands out for me, other than the I Dig You challenge that was really uncomfortable to watch. I did like seeing Robin do well, though.
Inferno 3 was filmed in South Africa..so you wouldn't have seen MTV there.
Inferno 3 was filmed in South Africa..so you wouldn't have seen MTV there.
I thought that at first too, but then I think maybe he meant like on TV, the actual channel MTV was not available in Brazil. Anyways, the Inferno 3 is actually one I'd like to rewatch because I... do not remember it. At all. With most challenges I can (sadly) remember episodes in depth but with that challenge it's just like "oh yeah Rachel cried when she got eliminated and called Jenn a chubby civilian" or "I think Ace was listening to Air Supply and slapped Colie?" and "Ace didn't want to get made fun of for wearing a speedo" and then... that's it.
Inferno 3 was filmed in South Africa..so you wouldn't have seen MTV there.
I realized that after I hit the button. The Duel was Brazil and Inferno 3 was South Africa. Braindead moment, sorry.

It's interesting that you can watch The Duel and Fresh Meat, but can't watch Inferno 3 for whatever reason BUT can watch Gauntlet 3.
So witch Real World/Road Rules girls do you think would fit right in on The Bad Girls Club? I'll post who I think would later.
I can't believe people put up a worst challengers list and didn't have Ace, Tyrie, Dave, and Katelynn on it lol. Especially Katelynn, but i kinda feel bad for her.
Ace is awesome. He's a middle of the road competitor. There's no way I'd put him on a "worst challengers list"
So witch Real World/Road Rules girls do you think would fit right in on The Bad Girls Club? I'll post who I think would later.
Judging from her Twitter activity, Ayiiia gets my nod. Jenn, just because she LOOKS bad, Tina (of course!), I'd pay to see Beth on one of those girl-fight-face-claw-yank-weave shows, Rachel when she was younger, Aneesa, CORAL (just let her run it) and Tori. Tori would appear to NOT be a perfect candidate for the show, but she's a wily, undercover bad girl. And is it me or does Kina just look like she should have been on one of those soap operas by now? She looks like she would fit right in, fighting her evil twin, saving someone named Logan or Dylan from a burning car, dodging bullets, pulling hair and going shopping after.
For anyone who's interested the new Derrick/Kenny podcast came out and they did a Real World vs Road Rules vs Fresh Meat Draft. Each had to pick 4 guys plus them and two girls. Derrick took Mark, Darrell, Abram, Theo V, Jodi, and Rachel. Johnny took Alton, Landon, Wes, Randy, Emily (DC), and Kellyanne. Kenny took Evan, Johnnie, Brandon, Noor, Evelyn, and Laurel. I'm not sure who wins between those three teams. I think it comes down to Road Rules and Real World since Road Rules girls are better and the guys are pretty close.

Not excited about the guy doing a future challenge at all. It's way past time for him to retire. I've only seen him on The Duel 2, I think. Darrell: **** yes! Abram: in the past, definitely. Current Abram, not so much. He just doesn't seem to give a **** anymore. Theo: no clue what he can do, other than be funny. Jodi: If Santa reads this, she'd make a great gift for me being so good all year. She's also one of the strongest girls hands down. Rachel: same as Abram. Johnny's: Alton: eh. Landon: of course. Wes: I was never really impressed with Wes. I've known kids like him my whole life and they're a dime a dozen. Randy: no idea. Emily: **** yes! Kellyanne: No *****' way. Kenny's: Evan: of course, but can he be muted before the show starts? Johnnie: no idea. Brandon: I'd like to see him do another challenge first. Noor: most definitely! Gotta root for my fellow short, bad ***. Evelyn: absolutely, depending on who else is on the show. Laurel: that's a given. I'd say it'd come down to Johnny and Kenny's picks with the girls leading the guys on Derrick's draft. My picks: Landon, CT, Kenny and Derrick with Jodi & Jenn.
My picks: Landon, CT, Kenny and Derrick with Jodi & Jenn.
Well the rule was Derrick had to take Road Rulers, Kenny had to take Fresh Meat, and Johnny had to take Real Worlders. A combination would definitely be best if that had been an option. Johnny said he wouldn't take CT because he's a liability to do something dumb. Derrick almost took Tori instead of Jodi, but decided on Jodi. As for Kellyanne, I thought the same thing, but Johnny was right in that what other girls from Real World do you take? Going back none are that impressive, Kellyanne was probably one of the best. Johnny considered Coral and Svetlana before he changed to Kellyanne.

Coral is Queen Bee, but athletically, she hasn't had to do a challenge in awhile. I can't think of a really strong RW girl, who stands out. RR has a few, as does FM, but not so much with RW. I'd have to stay with Jenn on it.
There are a lot of good picks from Real World. Just off the top of my head, Beth, Robin, Jenn, Sarah, Julie, Jamie, Tonya, Paula, Kelly Anne are all decent picks. I don't see Svetlana as better than any of those girls and I still don't see what Emily can do that's really all that groundbreaking.

Jenn: yes. Sarah: Not so bad, but she's easy for others to play. Julie: yes. Tonya: hahaha Paula:One of my favorites, but not stronger than Svetlana, in my opinion. Kellyanne: Strong, but unless you have breasts, will she cooperate with you? I think the fact that this is Emily's first challenge and she has done well, it makes her look better than others who have done more and not done as well.

And I'd take Jenn over KellyAnne as well -And for Kenny's, I'd say they're good except I'd take Pete over Johnnie.
Johnny's: Alton: eh. Landon: of course. Wes: I was never really impressed with Wes. I've known kids like him my whole life and they're a dime a dozen. Randy: no idea. Alton: I have no idea how you can say "eh" to this. Alton is arguably the greatest athlete in challenge history and he's also a great leader. (Lead the Rookies in the Gauntlet 2 and dominated the Vets for most of the season and ended up winning it all.) Landon: I agree. No brainer here. Wes: Wes is one of the better competitors in Challenge history. He got to the finale of FM1 with the worst girl by far on his team and did it while winning numerous Exiles throughout the season. In the Duel he managed to win the whole thing when he wasn't even part of the "inner circle" of the challenge and had few alliances, he beat Derrick in the Duel, out manipulated Evan, and beat Brad in the Finals. Randy: Pretty solid pick. I only saw him on the Gauntlet 2 and he was one of the best guys on the Rookie team. (A team with Alton, Landon, MJ, Adam, etc) Emily: Doing solid so far on this challenge. Haven't seen enough of her. KellyAnne: Did well on both Challenges she was on. Johnny: Great competitor, smart, good leader, has won multiple challenges. I think Johnny's team would crush Derrick's and Kenny's.
Alton is arguably the most OVERRATED competitor in challenge history if anything... the guy is pretty much one dimensional with his only real strength being climbing. Gauntlet 1 & 2 didn't really feature too many challenges that brought athleticism to the forefront. In elimination rounds on Gauntlet 2, he got two of them where climbing was the focus and he took out Adam and Jeremy... big whoop. His other elimination rounds were Beach Brawl against spazoid weakling Danny and he was in one on Inferno 3 where coordination was everything and he went up against one of the most overweight, uncoordinated people in challenge history in Tyrie. Danny from RW Austin would probably even go undefeated against those four in those games! It wasn't until after Gauntlet 2 where challenges began to get pretty much athleticism oriented and in the only challenge he participated in since Gaunlet 2 (Inferno 3) he was pretty much terrible. It wasn't until after Gauntlet 2 that challenges began to become more based around the premise of athleticism.

In fact, I think after the Duel 1, challenges were less based on athleticism. It's no secret that Kenny & Johnny are not in consideration for best athletes in challenge history, yet they've both won multiple challenges. The game is now almost 100% politics. And to say Alton is one dimensional is just wrong. He's only good at climbing? The guy is one of the strongest competitors in challenge history, he's fast, agile, well conditioned, etc. You can go ahead and try to discredit the elimination rounds that he thoroughly dominated, but either way, he shined on many missions in both the Gaunlet 2 and Inferno 3. You can't sit here and tell me every competition he's ever done well on was based on climbing....
Yeah, because challenges centered around eating ice cream, holding onto a rope while sitting on a spinning record, and running around in sumo suits require so much athleticism...
Yeah, because challenges centered around eating ice cream, holding onto a rope while sitting on a spinning record, and running around in sumo suits require so much athleticism...
You're 100% right. Except for the fact that all of this was before the Gauntlet 2 to my knowledge. And even then, there were plenty of athletic based challenges before the Gauntlet 2 and there's plenty of stupid challenges now.

The four guys all around are the strongest four. Wes and Randy? Those are not well rounded competitors. Not to mention Johnnie and Brandon. The girls are pretty even but I think Rachel and Jodi with those four guys would dominate for sure. And i'm surprised Derrick didn't pick Timmy, but i guess they're going by who can compete now. Theo V and Dan(RR5)>Alton and the Miz. Better all around competitors.
