The Challenge Series: RW/RR (Generic Thread)

I would love to see Coral return for another Challenge. I think Ellen was done with them after BOTS and she is married with a child now so she may not want to come back.

I'm pretty sure she said that to Tonya

Though this may be wishful thinking I just don't feel like Coral is completely done with challenges yet. I think that with the right cast, Coral WOULD make her return. I know she is pretty close with Paula, Katie, Rachel and Abram, so maybe if they were all confirmed, she would make a comeback. Does anyone know if Coral was ACTUALLY ever confirmed for The Duel 2? Or was that just a complete rumor?

Wasn't she telling other castmembers that she was doing it? I never knew she was close with Paula...

Why is Ellen done with BMP? It's sad because I feel like the most interesting cast members tend to come from Road Rules. Even in Viewer's Revenge, they were all so different yet interesting. Tori, whether we like her or not, is good tv. She speaks up, she's over the top dramatic, she's a good competitor, and she is linked to the older cast members (Brad, Susie, Adam, Abram, Veronica, Shane, Kina). Dan was a ticking time bomb on the island, Derek is ok, i really wanna see David, Angel would be great on another challenge because she's very quick to talk ****, and I STILL don't understand why they havent put Ivory on a challenge. I'll even take Jerry or Monte!

Veronica had told me on facebbok that she wouldnt do another challenge UNLESS the game changed a little bit but she bascially said she is worn out of being on the challenge

I hope she does come back! She actually won me over a little bit on The Ruins:)

i had saw on vemo or somewhere that corals friend/roomate nicole on B2NY wanted to do challenges but was never invites, lori was seen as too boring on battle of the sexes 1, mike has a wrestling career hopefully he can do another challenge one day, kevin and malik have no interest and i dont know about rachel but i love real world B2NY my favorite season. whatever happned to nicole, is she friends with coral still

Coral was at her peak during the Gauntlet, the Inferno and Battle of the Sexes 2 in which she took control of the girls team and made it to the finals on Gauntlet, Inferno, BOTS2 and Battle of the Seasons so she's not weak. And Veronica had won two back to back and won many lifesavers on the Inferno. They need to bring back Ayanna for entertainment and Mike aka the MIZ, Dan, Theo, Tara, Piggy, Elka, Ellen, Ruthie, Julie, Kendal, Sarah, Roni, and a lot more people.

The Miz has his wrestling contract with WWE so he would not be allowed to do a challenge on MTV. Not that he would at this point, he's pretty "big time" now, he was actually on an Australian talk show last month and the challenges don't air here... he's known world wide as a wrestler. I would love to see Coral come back, she was the reason I got so hooked on the challenges, but I'm pretty sure she's done. I'm re-watching Gauntlet 3 right now, and what Evan said there was right... it's a new generation and Coral is not in the loop, and she doesn't like that. Maybe if they ever did a reunion challenge (like say, only people pre-Fresh Meat) they could get back some of the old schoolers but I'd say most of them are done.

Yeah, Miz is no joke people. The WWE put one of their top individual titles on him (United States Championship) and he's also a member of the Tag Team Champions. I don't think they'd be putting major titles on him, let alone two at once, unless they saw some longterm potential in him because they can usually tell pretty early on with young wrestlers if they have "it" or not.

I talked to Miz on Twitter yesterday and he was wanting to know how long he had to hold on to the US Title in order to set the record. He's had 184 days now and needs to hold for 11 more months to make it.

Wow, I don't really follow wrestling much anymore but holding a title for 184 days in this day and age of pro wrestling is pretty **** impressive. Guys usually win a title and lose it within 3 weeks.

Miz did host an internet show where he and his tag partner basically ripped on people all show long. WWE held it on their site and thing skyrocketed like crazy. His fame went through the roof and started giving him serious reaction time which spoke volumes to Vince. He has been pushed since wrestling in huge matches from that point forward. While WWE might not let him compete, they may, if he gets injured, allow him to take over for TJ on a Challenge.

TJ is okay, but I miss Dave Mirra and Johnny Moseley. It would have been interesting to see Nicole from B2NY on a challenge. Coral and Veronica were the queen bees of their generation, but they aren't anymore. Evan and Kenny act as if they own the show. Um excuse me, you're Fresh Meat. It doesn't matter if you are on 78 challenges you are still Fresh Meat and they didn't earn their way to the challenge. They didn't live in an RV for a certain amount of months living with 5 other people while doing dangerous missions, or live in a house with 6-7 other strangers while dealing with the Real World. They just didn't. They outwelcomed their stay on MTV. I remember the good old days pre Fresh Meat when it was Challenge 2000, Extreme Challenge, Battle of the Seasons, Battle of the Sexes 1 and 2, and the Infernos/Gauntlets.

I do not think that what you're saying is valid. They deserve it just as much as anyone else. Fresh Meat is their original show and Bunim murray made it that way. Also, Evan was casted for Key West and Kenny was casted for Austin so they obviously earned their way on their.

Well they were rejects. I just believe that since the original format was Real World vs. Road Rules they should keep to that instead of casting people who obviously are full of themselves and who think they control the game. I just want people like the Miz, Theo, or Abram to put them in their place. Even if they were almost casted for those seasons they weren't and so they haven't lived the experience of a Real Worlder or Road Ruler.

Oh my god. Please no more arguing about whether the Fresh Meat are valid cast members or not. Regardless of your opinion of that decision, it was made, it's done, they're there. I wasn't happy with it at the time either, but it is what it is. I'm over it. It's been YEARS. And they're doing a second one. This is the way its going to be. Like it or not. Watch, or don't.

I miss Tina on the Challenges. I think Tina's best challenge was Battle of the Sexes 2 she made it really far( she was in the top 4 ) and she was more calmer.

She started an argument with Tonya and made a complete idiot of herself by just yelling nonsense at her over and over and somehow for the only time ever made Tonya look like the rational person in an argument. Tina's always accused Tonya of trying to make herself into a household name along the lines of Coral when Tina herself has tried to to the EXACT SAME THING. I thought she was annoying on her RR season, and she aggravated me on every single Challenge she did. Glad we haven't seen her lately.

Glad we haven't seen her lately.[/QUOTE] Well in the sense that she had more resentment for Tonya in the Inferno 2, The Freshmeat she yelled at Diem and on the Duel she hit Beth. On Battle of the sexes 2 she was more dedicated to the game and how to make it to the finals and got really far. Sometimes she would lose her cool but i think in this challenge she was more concerned with the game than anything else.

This might have been answered, but I don't feel like taking the time to go and look. What's with the Inferno 3? How come MTV and Amazon don't have it available to watch?
